There customer service has been excellent! The first cake I ordered never came so they sent me another one, free of cost. Then I entered the wrong date and now they are expediting my order. My dogs have really enjoyed the cakes. It is fun to celebrate their birthdays!
Ordered a cake 3 weeks ago for my dogs 14th birthday. Still today at 1 PM CT, no shipping info. They know there are shipping delays and still wait until the last minute. Then incredibly rude customer service. I highly doubt I will receive the cake by Saturday for my dogs birthday on Sunday. I'd rather have the cake early than late. They claim it's already made and will ship today so they won't refund and have advised if it arrives late they will also not refund. Oh they also advised the cake I ordered is "known to have mold issues." Funny the website doesn't mention that! Even if I do receive I don't think I'll be feeding it to my dogs. I will NEVER do business with this company EVER again and I recommend no one else does!
This is the second year I've gotten pupcakes from you to celebrate our Barkdays and the dogs love them and I love the care that goes into each package and every lovely cake! Thanks so much for helping me celebrate my pups in yummy style!

I found this company on an Instagram post and had to order one for my frenchie's birthday. The cake is the cutest and beautifully decorated. It arrived early during these crazy times and was well packaged. When I opened the box you can smell how yummy it must be that my frenchie went crazy. It also felt fresh and moist not hard as a rock which I have experienced with other bakeries. I will definitely be ordering from them again and would highly recommend.
Usually we order from a different dog bakery but we came across this company and thought we'd give them a try because of the unique cakes. So we ordered 2 cakes back in April to be delivered May 22... guess what no cakes until Saturday according to UPS. We called ups to try to fast track them here and they said they couldn't because they were on a truck already. Okra sent us a tracking number on the 18th saying they had shipped however UPS said they didn't actually receive the package until the 20th. We were leaving town Saturday morning for Memorial Day weekend so we contacted okra to cancel cakes since they wouldn't arrive In time and they said oh well to bad you shouldn't order cake to arrive the day you need it you should order it to arrive a day early... ummm yes ok that was the 22nd which is when we ordered it for. So now $70 no cakes and by the time we get home we will have two spoiled cakes because they only last 2 day's once you get them. Again they said no refunds not our fault. Do not waste your money buy from the dog bakery who actually deliver your items on time!

Shippers can sometimes underestimate delivery times early on in the shipping process and it's worth waiting to really see if your items are actually late before any rash decisions. Also, please read the website thoroughly, especially our delivery suggestions, before making your purchase, and DO NOT order a cake to be delivered the day you're leaving town. That's a bad idea.
I contacted them about delivery and I received horrible unprofessional attitude. They even threatened to call UPS and have the delivery canceled. I will NEVER use them again. I haven't even received the cake. I am basing my experience on customer service. I was told I was giving them a hard time, and to take my business elsewhere. Awesome customer service skills huh? Perhaps if I hadn't gotten 3 confirmations from 2 different delivery services I wouldn't have questioned the delivery date. The way I was spoke to was disgusting. I guess I am supposed to be able to read minds and figure out their confusing paper trail. Never again will I use this place or recommend it to anyone. They don't even realize the huge business they just lost. 4 to 7 cakes a month. A word of advice. Work on your people skills.
This is true. We don't want your business. Okra & Molly strives to provide great service but we don't want to deal with harassment and threats from customers. Do take your business elsewhere.

For my dog, Coconut's birthday I decided to give this place a shot and I was THRILLED by the results. The cake was adorable, it arrived in 1.5 days #QuarantineMiracle?! And they LOVED IT. My dogs have now had cake for breakfast 2 days in a row. They're confused but in the best way possible! I've tried other dog cakes and my dogs weren't into it so this is a great find!
Okra & Molly reached out to me with ample notice, to let me know my reoccurring yearly order would be processing soon. They asked me to update my information and it was super easy to do so online.
These cakes hit the rare combination of beautiful *and* delicious! I was impressed by how moist it was slicing pieces for my dog, who scarfed it down. The customer service is incredible, very responsive and went out of their way to correct an accident by hand delivering a replacement in less than 24 hours of being notified and even sent a bonus pup treat. Can't recommend enough! This is my second year getting birthday cakes from O&M and it's a solid tradition now!
This is our 2nd cake from Okra and Molly and we are so happy with the order. From the presentation to the quality of the cake everything was great. We ordered the ID tag for both dogs and we love the bright color and the font of their names on the tag. Will definitely recommend and continue to order for celebrations--the kids had a great time celebrating with the pups!
My dog simply loved her peanut butter birthday cake! She's a small dog so I didn't want her to eat it all at once and when I tried to take it away from her she was holding onto it so tight she loved it!

Hey Megan, as i'd mentioned in our private messages, the A La Mode has a higher chance of mold issues when it has sat for too long, which is why we don't send them out early, but that could be said for any of our cakes, honestly. As the site says, we use very little preservative and only send out fresh cakes. If you'd like your cake shipped for an earlier date, please select an earlier date. We ship for the date you select, as the site explains, and your cake ships today for Saturday, per your order.
