This is one of the best plasma places I ever been to I absolutely love it and it keeps me coming whenever I get the chance

The Boss is name Chris and he is not a boss who should be working with people because it not about the crew it's all about quality. And to me it should be about all co worker the donors. It's crazy how we're short staffed and we work without getting help Monday through Sunday. We need help! My next step is calling channel 10 news. If we don't get help

I called the center that I usually donate at starting on the day my results for protein should have been back, but of course I got a phone operator from some outsourced entity that knew nothing about plasma donating and basically told me they would try it again hold of somebody to find out my results. After minutes on the phone they said you'll have to call back tomorrow nobody answered! So I called back instantly and got a different operator that told me that Center was closed which I know they don't close until 7:00, so I called back again and I got an operator that told me my results were not back yet so I called back again and I got an operator and I told her I wanted to speak to somebody at West Avenue in San Antonio now! I got a hold of the most perfect employee you guys will ever have she looked up my results and said they would have been back for 3 days! This is sickening this is not right for you as an employer! And me that somebody depends on that money to help pay my bills I've been a loyal donor there for almost 4 years something needs to change and it's you getting rid of the outsourced call center! I love my Octapharma family, but I will go somewhere else if this doesn't change, 50 billion dollars a year be damned you guys should care more about your employees as much as your donors! I can be reach that *******656 for any questions you may have about the trials and tribulations I've been having since you outsourced your phones!

This place has helped to come to understand my body alot better...and it's really helps me out with money for gifts for the holidays

Staff is great clean friendly environment… but I will say you shouldn't walk into a place feeling great to walk out felling pain with an ice pack! If a technician can't get the vien they should not proceed or get another tech to help not just keep digging around trying to get the vien now blood is leaking so donation is cancelled but the $5 paid for the poke that was insulting $5 for a sore swollen bruised arm for a week or so I'd rather go without the $5 to walk out if there as I walked in no pain no ice bag the tech should have not proceeded knowing he was struggling I would have rather just been turned away for the day I understand it happens but in this case I think a denial for the visit would have been completely understood and accepted but instead I walk out completely disappointed with a sore arm and ice pack and $5 as well as the pretty bruise it's Gona be by morning I've learned though next time a tech is struggling getting the vien I am immediately stopping the procedure asap I'm going to continue to donate and this location is great like I said very clean comfy and staff is great super friendly I just don't think this incident should have happened the tech should have the knowledgeable of the effects of doing the "unsure"

Yep white is wrong color here... They won't let you donate if you have a bruise. But they dont tell you that the dark skinned people fade enough in two days to donate. Because they don't see the faded bruise.( How convent) they can donate. But Caucasians if they had the slitest shadow you get blocked. Until they think you are good. Only thing is they make you come in and turn you away repeatedly... Racism in Plasma Donation. Who knew? But now you know.

I have been going to Octapharma Plasma for about a year I have gotten to know many of the tecs very well to where we were on a first name basis,
There came a time in conversation I was making fun of my gray hair and it got twisted that i was referring to her hair, "SHE IS NOT GARY" so I was not, so i got banned
Not to worry there are several other plasma places the pay more anyway

Begin hated on because of a complaint of someone threatening me and now called a liar. And can't be trusted. When there was no need to lie
Like there's something really great about this place. Asked if I just came out of the doctor and came straight there. I replied no. Because I didn't just leave any medical place and then go straight there. But nothing else was asked or even matter's! Because it was quickly discussed and judged to be a liar. Which is to expected since what took place a few days before then.
No worries! I will not be returning there! Because you don't know what they will say, do or what will take place and suddenly have a large number saying anything and everything
So I won't be going there!
That nice is only if you cuss with one that works there and then laugh and cuss back

Been here often, and normally have a great time. Recently the techs were not all that welcoming. I wonder if its the traveling techs that made me feel at home. Because when they left, so did the kindness and welcoming feeling.

Makes me think of the ani DiFranco lyrics, " maybe you don't like your job, maybe you didn't enough sleep. Well, nobody likes their job, nobody got enough sleep. Maybe you just had the worst day of your life. But, you know there's no escape and no excuse, so just suck up, suck up and be nice"

I mean, I don't want a grump sticking me with a needle. That doesn't seem all that ridiculous of a thought.

Edit: after posting this review, I went back and my vein was perforated along with the 2 other people who were stuck right before me. I couldn't go back for 2 weeks because of the bruises. This is what I mean, with 3 bad sticks in a row by the same person, it shows either a lack of management, care, or skill.

What is happening at this location? Where is the oversight? Where is the care? Can they bring back the traveling phlebotomists? Because something is happening with the permanent phliblotomists. From refusing to change gloves, to yelling at clients and harming them. I have to come back, because I NEED the money, but I am terrified.

I was hoping you guys would give Leslie bermudez her job back she was one of my favorite people workin there she made sure people was comfortable there

Something like that during my donation visit I was screened by Gloria kimora and Marie. It went well and quickly. The nurses Crystal Holly and Claudia made me feel welcome and safe during my time there and it was much appreciated. It was a peaceful environment and process and I will continue going there thanks guys

I HAD THE WORST TIME AT THE CENTER STREET OCTAPHARMA IN OMAHA, NEBRASKA! A crippled man that has a gimpy walk and curved arms poked my arm with a thick needle now being certified at all, and blew my gosh darn vein I have had bruises and arm pain for almost two weeks now! It was the worst then after he poked me and it hurt so bad 2 more people tried messing with it moving a thick a** needle around my vein even though it was already messed up! Worst experience ever and the pain sucks! And the pain is even worse

Great place makes you feel like a hero. Lindsay the assistant manager was great she did the sticking and I honestly didn't feel a thing

Yeah, I just left West Covina Octapharma, and the fat Asian who test for blood got mad cause I was charging my phone just cause I look homeless but I'm not. I've been coming off the permit long time there's a first time ever had a problem like this like I thought he was gonna humiliate me so I tell everybody now F, Octapharma go where we are going to treat you with respect.F$@&. OCTAPHARMA First of all, it's not in the code of conduct nowhere does it say I can't charge my phone and then the dude went to add notes to my file just because I gave him a little attitude little attitude, Don't go to the west Covina location

I was deferred because an employee that from my understanding just completed her training. This is not the first time from this employee, however this time she got both arms. It's pretty bad when you tell the employee where to stick you but yet she decided to go completely opposite of that area. Unfortunately I am not the only one she has sent to deferment because of her incompentinse. The sad part of this all is she didn't even make an attempt to apologize but instead told me well next time when you come in make sure to ask for someone who knows your veins. First off you were sent to school by your company to learn your job so regardless of my veins you should be able to find them regardless. Then to top if off her bedside manners are horrible, you don't screw up 2 arms on a person and say "Wow I guess it is not my day". As It stands now I would have to start back at the bottom because of this. So I if decide to go back will have the privilege on losing money. As it stands right now I WILL NOT RETURN to your facility as long as that employee is still employed. I believe at this point with the training she has received and the number of hours of additional training given she should have it down. Just a waste of money on your companies end.

Octapharma is the best out of all plasma centers and they care for the people who come in to donate and are amazing staff

Clean place with friendly staff. Always a different experience when you come. Usually same faces each week.
