We are having a terrible experience with a delivery of a dining table and chairs. When we unpacked them we realised that the table legs were missing. We phoned Oak Furnitureland and they said they would send them by Royal Mail tracked delivery. On the day they were due to arrive we hadn't had a tracking number from Royal Mail, so we called Oak Furnitureland. They assured us that the parcel will arrive, but it didn't materialise, so we called again later in the day. We were told that the order had been processed incorrectly, so Royal Mail didn't have the parcel. So we booked the delivery again for yesterday, but still no table legs. We called Oak Furnitureland and were told that something had gone wrong with our delivery route and that no one on the route had received their deliveries. They said they will deliver today, but we haven't had a text or email to confirm this, so we're sceptical that it will happen. We are beyond exasperated and regret buying from this company. Their incompetence is astonishing. We would never buy from them again.
In store staff were great ordered a four seater Goodwood modular corner sofa and a two seater Goodwood recliner sofa. Delivery all good however the two seater could not be put together by the delivery staff. Badly manufactured told would send replacement in 7 days, then 7 weeks. Still not replaced. Asked for them to collect all products if they were not prepared to replace two seater in good time. Then customer services get involved and say one thing to customer and leave a different note on there system. They lie about what they will do to resolve matters. Once they have taken money they don't care. Left with an obsolete two seater sofa waiting for there customer services to resolve. Don't trust this company customer services will lie and mislead you. If Oakfurnitureland read these reviews, Don't you Maura?
Paid £99.00 for their premium delivery and took a day off work. They sent the furniture to the wrong adress and then told me I would have to book another delivery date.
I have never known such a bad service we ordered a sofa in may 2022 having to pay with no interest free credit the date was due September and since then have cancelled 4 times, it is now November and they have rang to say it will be end January 2023, we have asked to ask for a full refund and asking for compensation as we have paid interest on this sofa, totally unacceptable
Our £700 dining room table (plus 2 chairs extra cost) came partial self assembly, YES A £700 table requires self assembly.
I paid £30 for room of choice delivery (you can not collect any Oak furniture land purchase it has to be delivered at a min charge of £10 for doorstep delivery)
I compained to customer services that there was no mention when was in store abiut table needed to be put together on delivery unless i paid for premiun delivery an EXTRA £70.
The lady from customer services said, can you not put it together yourself W. T. F
Ask yourself would you buy a car and on collection the wheels are in the boot only to be told you have to put the wheels on yourself?
Oak Furniture land should scrap the delivery charge completley as they dont allow in store collection

The furniture arrived and it could not fit up the stairs, I wish they fronted the fact that the furniture is not flatpack. The wardrobe was 144kg... You can't do that without help. Also, when it became apparent that it wasn't happening, I was told that if I returned it I could get a full refund, and that I would be called immediately to discuss it after they had contacted customer service. The delivery drivers left, no call no nothing, I waited around before calling this company at which point I was told I was not getting a full refund, they were going to charge me over £100 for the privilege of being able to sell my furniture to someone else. Awful. Liars!
The sofa they delivered is gorgeous. However, delivery and the experience we had with oak furniture land was awful; the first sofa they delivered had a massive slit in it, they said they would replace it, and they did. However, when they delivered the second one, I had been given no email/ text message to say they were coming on this day, or even this week, let alone what time. They men that delivered the sofa were quite rude. I would avoid ordering from them.
First part of order arrived 2 / two seater leather recliners one complete other missing left hand side following week second part of order arrived one coffee table and sidboard. Firstly coffee table water stained. Side board badly broken in several places So send them back promised replacements for following week. Will wait and see. Had i read review site first i would not of paid out £? K Would recommend go else where Very dissatisfied and annoyed
Received a text on the day and within the timeslot of delivery to notify me that delivery is delayed and to visit the link to book a new delivery!
Needless to say, I cancelled the order.
We ordered a table and 4 chairs in July 2022 and were given a 3 month lead time and a delivery date of the 6th October
The big day arrived and we had been given a delivery window of 2:30 to 5:30. That window came and went and after a phone call and giving up hope, happy days at 7pm they arrived.
Only to discover that we had been sent 2 chairs which were the wrong type.
We spotted the boxes were of a different size who ever picked them at Warehouse was obviously not as awake as we were
Not impressed wasted a whole afternoon of holiday and will no doubt have to waste another period of time to rectify their error, with some small print saying they are not liable for the costs
We wont be using them again m
Received a text message a couple of days back to give us the time for our delivery slot today. Then receive another text today to say that it would not happen. Phoned the customer service department who said this was because of one missing item - we had been told it was all ready to go! I was then told that the missing item would come in 4 days but the rest today at the time we had paid for. Then get a phone call to say that nothing was coming today despite what their staff had told us.
All of our old furniture (a complete bedroom) had gone in anticipation of the delivery we booked. We are now unable to get a delivery until October 10th due to a pre-booked holiday. "Could you not add it to the missing item delivery?" - not how it works. Despite all this I am still getting texts to say it is ready to deliver now! No bedroom furniture for a month.
What an absolute shower
Bought my mum a 4 piece bedroom set in 2018 and now in 2022 wood worm coming out. Avoid this sham company at all costs. After a year no warranty on furniture so the bedside table going to tip and if I could physically move it the whole lot would be gone.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM, WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!
Ordered a 2-seater sofa and a 3-seater sofa-bed in April (ofl-*******). After last-minute delays (same-day notifications they won't come) they finally delivered a damaged 2-seater at the end of August. Then the replacement 2-seater and the 3-seater sofa-bed arrived in September, both damaged as well (the 3-seater so much that it wasn't even fitted properly together). No compensation offered and when I talked to them to book a 3rd (!) delivery attempt, apparently their whole IT system crashed and I was told to call them back later...
DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE THAT I HAVE MADE, STAY AWAY FROM THEM!
Unless you want really poor quality 'made in Vietnam' furniture made from unsustainable timber backed up by terrible customer service, please don't buy from Oak Furniture Land. I ordered a chest of draws that arrived damaged. The store that took my money couldn't handle customer issues as staff claimed it was just a showroom and just gave a phone number to call. It took an hour to speak to someone who asked for a photo of the product label as they didn't have all of the information of a product that they had sent me! I had to unpack the complete product to get at this label and call them back to discuss a return. Two phone calls later (each one holding for 30 minutes+) I was told that they couldn't pick the item up for 7 days. I explained that the product was in my hallway and was blocking access to the front door however they could not offer a quicker time. If you do decide to buy from Oak Furniture Land... good luck!
Have a dining table and six chairs which i have had for a few years purchased in 2014, leather chairs have split and cracked despite using a good quality cleaner and cream, should not have done this if they were leather.
We ordered and paid for 2 wardrobes 2 bedside cabinets and a blanket box on 1st May 2021. We were asked when we wanted them delivered. Due to wardrobes ready quicker we requested them to come separately so extra delivery costs dispute. Got them ok then we kept getting emails every month it seemed please select a new delivery date. Then October 2021 date cancelled please select April 2022. We then cancelled blanket box and got bedside cabinets within a month so delivery May 2022. I suspected these fools had been getting one of these items and then fulfilling that order so with having 2 separate items never coming on the same boat we would never get our items. I confronted the salesman with my theory and he said this had happened to lots of customers and I was in fact correct. So the more you spend & the more items you buy the poorer the service. Our order number was ofl-*******.
Upon opening a French Dresser, I immediately noticed gaps in the cornice mitres. I stopped at that point, as it was futile to continue. I took a photo of the manufacturing issue and tried to report on the website. None of the functionality of the website contact form was operating, so I called and waited 30 mins to be told "It's a website sale, you need to speak to the other department, I will transfer you." 5 mins later I spoke to a lady and advised of the issue. She was very apologetic but said "We need a photo of the whole item, the faulty and the white label on the back." I advised that I had not removed the item from the box, as the fault was clearly visible upon opening and as it was well packed and heavy, we did not want to manhandle the heavy item (Us both being senior citizens). She said, "We have to see the item fully assembled, so we can make a claim against the manufacturer". She also said, "We can only take back the bottom of the dresser, because there is nothing wrong with the top", although at this point, the condition of the top section was unknown. Eventually, after much dialogue, she settled for just a photo of the fault, the item partially in its box and the QC label on the item. Collection was arranged and it was collected today however, we were asked to sign the collection note, but was not given any form of written acknowledgement of receipt, which seems strange. I will await my FULL refund in respect of this faulty item and give Oak Furniture land a wide berth in future.
I ordered for a display unit from Oak Furniture land, Shirley, UK, in the month of May 2021, which was promised to be delivered by Jul 2021. After repeated followups, it was delivered in the month of April 2022 and it was a damaged delivery. After reporting about the damage at customer care, it was promised that they would deliver the broken shutter and i am yet to receive the shutter. Upon calling the customer care, they again promise that the shutter will be delivered asap. But its again a false primose. Please think twice before you go with such misorganised vendors.
My wife and I just went into OFL in Tamworth looking for a piece of furniture as we have bought lots of furniture from here before, but we're appalled at the rudeness of the salesman. We couldn't find something we liked after being pressured by the salesman and my wife was being pleasant to the salesman explaining that we couldn't see what we wanted. My wife commented that we'd bought lots from OFL before and he made a flippant comment that was rude and wasn't even abashed when my wife pulled him up on it. We're not shopping at OFL again because of this.
When you pay £2300 for a 2 seater sofa and chair you would expect it to last longer than 2 years. The seat cushions have completely collapsed to the extent that we are now suffering back pains, this has occurred with normal use and we are of average build, we have tried claiming on the extended warranty with Homeserve over the last 6 months to no avail like normal not worth the paper it's written on. OFL have refused to do anything about this problem. I would avoid buying a sofa from this company at all costs. We are absolutely disgusted with the quality of the product.
Answer: They won't last long. The store managers are terrified that the stores will close as people use the internet for OFL products. Naturally there will be more internet complaints so the company will struggle. Avoid, unless you have lots of time to waste.
