Expensive

Prices are more then double that of Costco. Yes they have a much better selection but I get 2lb. Of organic Brazilian nits at Costco for $12.99 here it's 16.99 for just one pound, quite a difference. Same with walnuts and almonds.

I ordered from them for many years with few issues. Whenever they ship my order it comes next day. Having shipments involving more than one box is not uncommon for me and they have always arrived TOGETHER and on time (when they used Fed Ex. They decided to go cheap, and use this sketchy outfit "CDL". The people drive unmarked sketchy vans, blare rap music, and throw your boxes on the steps. I have had 2 or 3 orders so far involving these losers. Since my orders were arriving OK I ignored the unprofessional behavior of the drivers. But this last time, both boxes were shipped out at the same time. And now the one containing $90 worth of nuts is missing. So to recap I PAID NUTS.COM $155 and only got $65 of my product. These sketchy drivers either lost my second box, or frankly, STOLE it. No one can say where the other box went. I have a busy life and have had to take time out of my day to 1) file a payment dispute, 2) Contact their useless customer service (who "will look into it") while I am out $90. Now I have to deal with the stress of being out almost $100 because they decided it would be a good business decision to hire a cheap unprofessional outfit to ship their products. By using these people they make the buying experience terrible and now I have the stress of trying to resolve this. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM - THEY ARE NOT THE SAME AS THEY USED TO BE. They are not the only nut game on the internet - spend your money wisely and elsewhere unless you have money to burn or hours upon hours to spend fixing their screw ups.

I ordered a 25 lb. bag of toasted buckwheat. Instead, I received raw buckwheat as evidenced by its lighter color and crumbly structure (the attached photo shows Nut's buckwheat in a big bowl and toasted buckwheat I bought from another vendor in a smaller bowl). Not only that, the product they sent me is cheaper than what I ordered.
I called them on the phone and politely described the problem. The rep immediately got argumentative without even taking a look at my order. Then he asked me to send a photo of the product which I did.
The next day I got an email stating "The picture you sent is brown but the Raw White Buckwheat would be a much lighter color". They either think I'm blind, dimwitted, or both. In any case, it is insulting.
They offered store credit. I want a refund.
I filed a dispute with my credit card company.

Products were super fresh, packed well in the delivery box. The individual bags were of super quality, easy to re seal for later consumption! The nuts/popcorn were delicious! Fed Ex was quick-a day earlier than projections, tracking system was detailed and updated regularly! Great products, great experience!

Dissapointing

The quality of their products has reduced significantly since I first started using them over a year ago. The turkey jerky was full of flavor but now is nothing more then rabbit pellets. The bags they ship their nuts and other products in are suppose to be reseable allowing the product to stay fresh but even when the bags are sealed the bags feel up with air and the product goes stale fast. Their shipping is poor. They state you will receive your product in one to two days but with their shipping method, CDL, you may get in less than a week. Their customer service is fast but you get tired of hearing their excuses. Very disappointed for they were my go to for quality products but not anymore.

Recently ordered eight items for a party. There were quality or taste issues with 6 of the eight items. I submitted my issues to their customer care group. I received a small credit and memo which DID NOT address any of my issues.
Do yourself a favor and buy from a local vendor.

Nuts.com has some fine products, eg I like several items including their bridge mixture, fudges and even teas. My main complaint is about some of their nuts not being fresh. Considering that this is their specialty this is a bit of a shock. I recently threw out a bag of sunflower seeds which which had gone bad after about 4 months and had been tasting off well before this. Peanuts in their peanut brittle similarly tasted off and various peanut mixes have not been great. There are no " best use by" dates on anything I have had from them, evidently this is only required for infant food. They seem to be cutting corners about sending fresh food.

Just like the title of my review says. This company has been around 100 years... yes 100 years and all of their products come in these bags with nasty black smudges on them. Looks like someone spilled oil on them or something. No other company has this issue and I have not seen it in 20 years of ordering products off the internet. Being around 100 years there is no excuse for this. The fact that this isn't something that they are concerned with makes me question the conditions of the warehouses where the packaging is being done. I ordered from nuts.com because it was cheap and now I see why.

Sent my son a nuts.com package and when he opened it there were bugs all over. Contacted company they did not respond. Called and was told it was past the guarantee date so I guess Bugs in the package are OK with this company. I would not buy from them again and you would be crazy to buy nuts with bugs.

I ordered 3 bags of ASSORTED mini fruit slices and all three bags were mostly green ones. I would say 90% GREEN. What a disappointment. The full size slices were fine and that's why I ordered the mini ones.

I bought 25 pounds of peanuts for my restaurant use. The peanuts are probably old so it has very tiny rancid smell. It's like when you are blind folded to be offered peanuts, after you chew it, you can't tell if it's peanuts because it doesn't have the unique aroma peanuts have.
