To say I'm happy with my purchase would be an understatement. As I'm more than ecstatic with the winter weather trekking pants. They are true to size as well as being the most comfortable winter weather pants that I have ever purchased.

Gave the Adventure Pants as a gift and got a second pair two weeks later great for Mountain Biking, Aftivities, Work and Leisure in the Northwoods Cold and Snow. Do become warm once temps break above 40 with long activity. Next up … Summer Pants. Will soon only own these pants. Men's pants size may be a little larger, measure to size.

I bought the lined Northbound pants for my husband in black and green. They look great on him (just remember to go down one size and be mindful of the length). He just rotated between the two all winter, even though he has Eddie Bauer lined pants. Thanks Northbound for keeping us warm during this long hard winter!

I ordered a pair for my boyfriend and he loves them. They didn't come in a woman's (size18) for me but I found out I could wear his - 38/28 so bought me some too! Great for hiking. They breathe very well while keeping you dry!

Bought an apex jacket and waterproof Jeans for dog walking. Good quality, warm and waterproof excellent. I would buy again but don't think I will have too because of the quality.

Northbounds adventure pants collection is awesome. I own a bunch of them and have even given a few pairs as gifts to friends and family. They are very comfortable to wear and have a bit of style to them as well.

Northbound came recommended by my hiking friends and I can see why, their backpack and tactical pants are truly impressive. The adventure pants especially are well made, very warm and reasonably waterproof.

I don't usually buy products from facebook ads but I bought the waterproof jacket from here and was so impressed that I ordered a pair of the adventurer pants. This company is the real deal, both items are really great quality and deliver on every front.

I'm sure I'll like the pants I ordered but it's been two weeks and I still haven't received them - and I live in the country where the company is based! So I can't comment on the quality of the product, but I CAN say that shipping is painfully and unnecessarily slow. These guys ought to take a lesson from Amazon!

Do not buy from this company- terrible products- terrible customer service and the shipping takes over a month and a half. I don't ever write reviews but wanted to warn others. Do not order from these scammers

Placed an order online early January and cannot get anyone to answer me as to the status of the order. No calls are returned, emails are not returned... complete waste of time trying to get a status of the order or get a refund.

I made an order for mens pants and it took over a month for them to arrive. I ordered the socks and it took a month and a half. Buyer beware. Socks are total waist of money/ pants are ok- wore them out fast.

This company removes all negative reviews from their website. I bought a jacket that was not as advertised. It was a woman's jacket, I received a men's jacket that they called "unisex". The size was far different from the sizing chart, the jacket should have been 19.5 inches across not 22, and the shoulders were huge and boxy. To return this jacket I need to pay shipping and a restocking fee, despite not being what I ordered. Very poor customer service, I will avoid this company in future.

I, like many have fallen for the slick ads this company spits out all over the place. Did some reviews first, but I guess I was seeing the "invited reviews". Have done a lot more digging on various sites and most uninvited reviews are ugly. It does appear they are rebranding gear you can get on Amazon for much less under the brands Tacvasen and Gash Hao to name two. I have not yet received my orders and have asked for them to be cancelled and a refund... which was quickly denied. I'm currently going through a dispute process with my bank to get my money back. As pointed out in one review, the address they give for their location in Surrey BC is a UPS Store. I have messaged UPS to see if this is a normal practice or if they are aware. So steer clear and order through Amazon if you want product like this - same product and lower price. At least you know their customer service is great.

As a follow up to my review I educated myself on drop shipping and the typical model used. On the surface their is nothing wrong with drop shippers I guess, as long as they are not making claims that the items they are selling you are their intellectual property. Northbound claims they design and produce in Canada among other places (aka China). On their website they say this "Committing to design innovative eco friendly products that exceed our customers expectations" and "Designed in Canada". Funny I found the same garments on Amazon under the brand Tacvasen. See Pictures attached. Does this mean they are being misleading or making false claims? They also claim they have a warehouse in Canada. That's not the drop shipping model. So again buyer beware!

After having sent me the wrong size of men's pants, I have made several attempts to seek a resolution of this problem. Northbound Gear, after finally asking for photos of the item and shipping label (which I provided) has now ghosted me. Judging by the number of similar complaints, I suspect that this is standard practice for Northbound Gear. Save your money, and support your local businesses instead.

Jacket was shipped from New York, but returns must be shipped to Canada. This makes the return prohibitively expensive. Northbound Gear does not display their address anywhere on their website, so it's not immediately clear that this is a Canadian company. Don't buy from them unless you know it's going to fit.

This company advertises easy returns. Well if you live in the US the return shipping is over $20, plus there is a restocking fee that northbound charges. Oh, and you will have to fill out a customs declaration form. The size that I ordered is no where near true to size. Beware of purchasing from this company. They will fill your email inbox with spam and offer no true customer service.
