Have only recently purchased a 1:5 petrol car and was struggling to find parts then i found Nitrotek after a lot of searching the internet and they stock pretty much every think i could need and very well priced

Recently bought a remote control car from Nitrotek, unfortunately this stopped working after a couple of weeks. Unfortunately this now meant that the product was outwith the 30 day return period (it was bought in plenty of time for a birthday present). I contact them, they asked me to try several fixes however, nothing worked. I was then requested to send the product back at my own cost, to be inspected by Nitrotek. After contacting them to get an update, they could not find the product and asked me to send proof of postage, which I provided. I was then told they would get one of their technicians to carry out a full inspection and would get round to inspecting it within a couple of weeks. At that point, depending on the 'internal' inspection report they would advise me of next steps. By this point almost 1 month had past, despite numerous chaser emails, requests for updates and a refund (as I had had enough of the poor communication and customer service). Nitrotek eventually found a fault with the product and said they would fix it and send it back to me, I argued that I didn't want it sent back as if the product is of such poor quality then I would prefer to spend my money in other ways. Unfortunately as I was outwith the 30 day period, I was not entitled to a refund so reluctantly agreed to receive the product back. I also stated that I would require full costs incurred due to postage which they have flatly refused. The arrogance of the person on the email was outrageous, very unpleasant and unhelpful.

Do not use this company... BAD PRODUCT, AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Nitrotek are an online supplier of remote control cars/vehicles and small electric/petrol 'toy' cars/vehicles.

Brought the build your own buggy for my sons 15th birthday in October he is very impressed that he will get to build his own nitro car.

Excellent service and speedy delivery. Bought as a present for a 14 year old boy. He says "it's amazing! The car is so fast it's crazy and it feels like really good quality". One thing to remember is that having a brushless motor, this car is *really* fast, so you do need a big garden or park to get it up to top speed! Might be a bit quick for a younger child, who might struggle not to crash it constantly.

Terrible company to deal with. Avoid purchasing anything from them they are scammers. They take your money and when you have a problem and want refund they will make lies up and try and get out of giving full refund by trying to say they need to deduct £55 due to loss of value of the car. They state on website they have 14 day money back guarantee well don't be fooled this means nothing. I am now going to take further and also report them to trading standards which I know quite a few other people have done.

NITROTEK goes for money, not for customer

Company sells items that doesn't match the description. Furthermore, when they get caught on it, they take forever (took 1.5 month) to check the item (which you have to send on your cost). Then they change the description on the website, to say that, what was claimed by the buyer, was not in the product description. ( I have all evidence, which will be posted on dedicated website). After that, they don't want to return the money. AVOID AVOID NITROTEK.IE SCAM. Save your money, buy somewhere else.

Bestellung *******0188 Nachdem ich vorgängig eine gute Bewertung betreff Kundendienst abgegeben habe, hat mich jetzt der Schock eingeholt. Nachdem ich Artikel und Lieferung bezahlt habe, kommt heute von UPS eine Zahlungsaufforderung 83.- CHF. Ich finde es nicht in Ordnung von der Firma. NitroTek. Dass ich Einführungs Gebühren zu zahlen habe. Ich habe den Scooter in der Schweiz bei Hobbytime bestellt. Es wurde mir nicht gesagt, dass die Lieferung aus England kommt und ich somit Einführung in die Schweiz zu zahlen habe. Die Euphorie von gestern ist weg. Obwohl ich sagen muss dass der Kundendienst ansonsten wirklich gut funktioniert, man schnell ein feedback auf Fragen bekommt. So siehts aus. Schade!

I am a remote control tank enthusiast who searches all over the net for tanks which are value for my money.
I have used company's from different parts of the world and always wondered why I have to go so far afield?
I have now come across Nitotek and all I can say is wow.
What a great company that is local to me here is the UK.
When it comes to value for money I am giving them 100% and I am so impressed that they are giving some savings back to the customer.
I have just made my first purchase and for sure will always check Nitrotek before any other company because they are going to be very hard to beat!

Had exactly what I was searching for, also very easy to use and great write up description of their products

Since I explained to them that they have breached my right to a refund and sent them the shpiel Citizens Advice told me to, they've since disabled my account with them, meaning I also can't leave feedback of the bike on their website.

I have been advised to send the bike back to them and wait and see what happens next, but they have informed me Via email that it's unlikely they'll refund me as they've had a bad year due to covid.

This bike was to be used for my small business, it's already held me back for a week and I imagine this will end up at a small claims which means I'll be stuck for at least another 2-3 weeks. However, I refuse to spent over £1000 on a clearly used bike which is not as described. After having it back out of the box I can see the wheels are a different colour also!

I always wanted to buy an Acme Cyclone Pro nitro rc car for a long time but it was out of stock due to the pandemic, eventually some came back in stock so I ordered one at the drop of a hat on a Tuesday evening and it was sent the very next day and I received it on Thursday. It came well packaged and double boxed with air bags and I got a lovely surprise to find they included a Nitrotek rc hobby beginners guide DVD for free with the order. The car itself is awesome it looks really really nice and it's very well made, I plan on using it when the weather is cooler and I'm sure it will be awesome it was also a nice surprise to find a better quality transmitter included with the kit than the one that was advertised, they included a high quality Flysky FS-GT2E. All in all Nitrotek is an excellent trustworthy company who deliver exactly what they promise and they sell great quality and awesome products at amazing prices. This is the first rc car I've purchased from Nitrotek and it most certainly won't be my last! Highly recommended!
