I recently posted a personal experienced with a 4-year old black girl that I saw throwing garbage out of a car window, then flipped me the bird, while her mother was watching and approving her behavior. I stated that if you raise your children to be defiant and disrespectful, you are creating your own monsters that later are going to defy and disrespect anybody in an authority position, such as teachers or the police.

Facebook had no problem with my post, but the stupid morons at Nextdoor, considered my post racist and they have suspended my account for 30 days.

I don't care about Nextdoor anymore and I will be deleting my account from their website, because I have seen similar complaints from other users. They can take their website and shove it. AMF!

The site uses nosey neighbors to play hall monitor. They're called "leads". They consider themselves as the people that "run" the site. If you make a comment they or their buddies don't like, they harass you and when you object, they suspend you. Alt-right, Q-anon, racist, gun nuts, anti maskers, or just mean, they all seem so gather to complain about anyone who they consider different.
One woman mentioned she saw a coyote on her block. A Lead made fun of her, then his buddies piled on. The woman was very upset, she was trying to be helpful. They swarm & attack like schoolyard bullies. The "Leads" report you based upon their idea of what is okay. They send their reports / accusations to customer service, a corporate person without your input. That person suspends people, kicks them off. No input from the person accused. It's really viscous. Just a bunch of bullies.
BTW, people who advertise on ND say it is worthless. The site is so hostile, people leave before they become too engaged. The advertisers don't want to be associated with bullies. It's hard to build a business base. It's an awful experience. Like a high school in Hell.

Even if you like to civilly debate your neighbors on national politics, you cannot present any balanced political ant-Trump postings, without getting banned. This site is a cess-pool of rightwing maniacs here in Huntington Beach, CA.

Worst customer service and a total scam. You can not even call them to complain! Total rip off! Spend your hard earned $ somewhere else.

My account was disabled for no reason. I had started a group for my morning devotions. Since religion to them is not allowed on main page. Do all was well then went on just now and found out my account has been disabled for 15 days. They collect your information and sell it. When you try to get off the app on your own your information is still retained.

I have been on Nextdoor for about 2 years and never said anything bad and they banned me because they said they want my last name and to upload proof then they ask to see something with my address and full name.
1. once they have your info they will sell it.
2 they claim its safe to give them your identity but when I asked them okay give me your last name they replied back its not required.
3. why would you think its safe? Nextdoor you never know who anyone is unless its family and even that can be a mystery.

The crew did a great job of installing new windows and a patio door, I love them. They came when they said they would and cleaned up after the installation.

ND somehow became a very Prejudiced Political Ogre. (I thought this was supposed to be a friendly little neighborhood site?)
A daily shameful and uncensored display of Prejudice, Discrimination and hate towards anyone who they deem as different.
So much for "Tolerance" or "Unity" or "Bipartisanship"
In their efforts, they are exponentially adding to the problem of division, hate and racism. -Not to the solution.
All these Social sites must Not be allowed to continue to control the narrative, while freely running unregulated and uncensored, with absolutely NO ACCOUNTABILITY OR OVERSIGHT.
WAKE UP AMERICA the writing is on the wall.
**I was formerly an ND member for over 10yrs.

We reached out to Jack and set an appointment to have him come fix our refrigerator (water component). Jack was right on time and fixed our problem in 30 minutes. He was friendly, professional and the price was fair for what he did. I highly recommend using Jack Dish Plumbing if you are in the Las Vegas, Nevada area.

If I could get them a zero or a negative star I would.
They censor ANYONE who speaks against ANYTHING they decide is fact. I have had my account disabled twice now for utilizing my right of free speech, in which I broke no law and told no one to break any laws. I have been told that Nextdoor is not the place for opinions. Really? I'd like to know how this works on a site when 99% of what people say in there is THEIR OPINIONS! The only opinions that are allowed are the ones that agree with THEIR politics. No one is allowed to say anything about vaccines, or any view point against covid 19. People are harassed and bullied and shamed for saying they don't wear masks or voice their opinions against it. They're accounts are disabled. They are TERRIBLE and I honestly wish their site would shut down.

I had problems with a lady picking up a cat at my house she thought was hers. Well she got the cat and then said nasty things about Us and our house. I deleted my account and I'm so mad. Also she called the police and they came to my job about the cat. Don't get me going!@@!

It's actually a recipe to bully others with strange powers from the leads... who have limited to useless to infuriating powers to the victim. Whoever thought this system out was a clod head... but it saves staff and customer service... way too many useless ineffectual moderators who just want a quiet life and do not want o deal with bullies to incase they upset them leaving cyberbullying to take place within a 100 yards of front door! Clever folk here have not thought it through... should be a way to force the resignation of some leads/moderators whose questionable decisions on some folk being bullied really is at the bottom end of human caring. They should nip all bullying in the bud. But they don't the poor triggered victim cannot block and gets attacked by the usual bandwagon morons and moderators just allow it. Once o them she was too busy with the kids to do anything about it and read all the messages. If that is not a license to say go ahead and carry on bullies from a moderator I do not know what is. Its a design flaw to have cheap moderation that does not work

It leaves you far more open to abuse from some morons out for a crack at your expense... I feel for people on it from some local bullies just having a crack at just decent folk. Like you and me.

Power goes to moderators heads ho might know either local party or local gossip... it's s actually a tool for cruelty used in the wrong hands... with some seriously nasty people.

If you write something and someone doesn't like what you say they report you with a good chance of getting kicked off. Nextdoor never notifies you why you were kicked off and what comments were offensive to individuals. Even when you don't specifically attack anyone. They use the offensive language rule as quick as a rain drop. The bottom line, it's cancel culture. If it doesn't fit the political correct word police it's offensive. However, when the PC voice their opinion and it's offensive to conservatives, it's cherished. Marxism comes to mind about this site. They even warn you that when talking about "the virus" to use the correct term with suggestions such as, Covid-19". To bad you cannot give it less than ONE. The only good thing about them is connecting with people that are like minded in hobbies and recreation.

May as well be CCP. They were created for the purpose of "Organizing". Comments are invited as long as they agree with their agenda. They encourage neighbors to point out racists and biggots, to be determined by them. Check out their top-billed Post in the Groups section.

On Dec 13th per my last review of Nextdoor, they suspended my account until Jan 13th because I expressed an opinion ghey didn't like. I sent 7 emails with NO reply. I am stll locked out after 30 days, and they stiill won't respond. Their advertisers need to know how poor their ratings are and how they treat potential custmers they are paying to reach. A waste of money to place adds with them, in my opinion.

No conservative thought is tolerated, all censored. Ads too much. All prejudice in all areas. No replies given, no reason at all.
