Be careful what you say, if the write person doesn't like your comment you may be ignored! I keep getting teaser emails but can't view or reply, just get a blank screen. No help logging in and no one to contact.
I think I upset them when I talked about comedians joking about the site being for neighbors to tattle on each other and next day nothing except emails I can't reply or view! Not sure why, thought it might be a problem with my system but asked question and advised by others that nextdoor just shuts you off no notice of reason you just have to figure it out! No way to run a website. Not going back on. Invisible moderators and no contacts.

Recent comment that was accepted by the website "I wish the people who will not take the covid vaccine, catch covid and die. This will make it better for the rest of us" Really they let this type of trash stay up and if you disagree your account is disabled. And Good Luck if you think that the President Public Christmas Message will stay on the site. Too religious! The website is about as nasty as it gets. Stay away unless you want to "dance with the devil"

If you like nastry, drag-out arguments over conspiracy theories and personal beliefs, this is the place for you! Moderators routinely allow harassment towards members they do not like and in fact will participate in those attacks on the forum. Try getting Nextdoor to step in and address these moderators. Never gonna happen. Nextdoor is full of alt-right crazies who love to bicker and harass each other. A frigging free-for-all. Facebook is a better choice.

Only good thing about this site is that you can get info not available on the news. If there are gun shots people will post about it. They are quickly removed, but if you look right away then you will know what is going on.

This site is worthless and just serves as a place for old folks to fight. If you are young you will not like this site this is for the elderly only. This is only for crabby old people. If you are a vibrant older person this is not for you use a better site. These nasty old people will just bring you down.

I was using this app to post conservative politics, politely doing so. Liberals and leftists didn't like my posts and were very rude about it but Nextdoor suppressed my account by reprimanding me? Go figure. I don't recommend this app to neighbors or neighborhood. They aren't fair, they are more like Twitter, Facebook, Google, etc. Activists. Very poor management of their product. Leftists were allowed to insult the President but I was not allowed to post my conservative posts. Hmmmm

Really the worst site on the internet. Claims that they only allow users to use real names, but then deactivates based on spite reports because another user disagrees with something you wrote. Deactivates based on zero proof that not using real name, after going through lengthy process of jumping through hoops to join site with real name. Why deactivate instead of asking for proof like picture ID? Customer service is incredible bad, takes weeks. Attracts the worst kind of people who are very smarmy

I was a huge fan in the beginning. I actually volunteered to recruit my neighbors. Now I'm emailing all of them to suggest they leave Nextdoor and offering them good reason why. The top three reasons for this are censorship, censorship, censorship. They are a left-wing bastion of liberal ideas and anything posted that's pro Trump, or offering an alternative opinion about COVID - even backed by scientific articles - get removed if they aren't supportive of the leftist position. On a Zoom call this weekend with my neighbors, one of them told a story about how he did business with Nextdoor and how they knickled and dimed him and then, in the end, didn't even want to pay what they agreed upon.

I have seen over the past 1 1/2 years a total erosion of this platform down to a cesspool. People post nasty comments, attack others and get away with it. Right wing extremists have taken over and the leads are just as bad, even participating in snide comments which are nasty. When people "report" our lead gets upset and bashes those who report rather than him stepping up, stopping hateful rhetoric, reminding people of the guidelines. I have been called a "Liberal" for expressing my views in a diplomatic manner as if its a cussword. When someone moves to our neighborhood from California, the right wingers jump at the person and say "go back home, we don't need your type here, we don't need Arizona to change because of you." As a professional woman of color I have been the target of racist attacks and when I stand up and call out their BS it's worse. Contacting ND is useless. Yes I am a Liberal Democrat and proud of it, My people have survived all attempts to kill us all off and I speak up and don't accept mansplaining or racist attacks. So within a 2 week period I had to confirm to ND that I still lived in my development. The 2nd time I was a bit put off and sent an email to ND asking them to look into harassment. I got suspended for 14 days! What? They claimed I violated their "national/local politics" guidelines. I posted information about November is Native American Heritage month. That is hardly political, It is cultural and historical. Racists. Stay away. They act like a bunch of FASCISTS.

Was locked out for 2 weeks for posting 2 videos (without comment) that I thought might be of interest. One was a Doctor with his take on the exaggeration of C-19. And the other was discussing Voter Fraud in the election. This caused a stir among the 'snowflakes' who either cry or curse and what do you know... I'm cancelled for 2 weeks.
Do we need another 'liberal' mocking bird social media where 'Free Speech' is not respected? I don't think so.

I highly recommend Space City Plumbing, Inc. They replaced our entire home old galvanized pipes with Pex piping.
1) Professional-hardworking employees, friendly, and courteous, each person on first day knew their role and
worked diligently.
2) Micah, Jr., made sure all was going well and updated me on progress.
3) Augustine and Isiah arrived timely day two, as promised to connect all the Pex pipes. They are like worker
bees, progress reports throughout the day.
4) Even new in 79, we have NEVER had this amazing water pressure throughout our home.
We are pleased we hired Space City to replumb our home. We will definitely call Space City for future kitchen and bath faucet replacements, etc.

A frequent voice on NextDoor is a local paper editor, who is an ex-con with a political ax to grind and if you respond critically or even in jest or in any way unsupportive to his submissions you will find the whole post taken down and when it reappears a few days later, only your comments are missing. There is no notice or reason given. No explanation on the post. Just disappeared like it never was. That's just creepy! Here is my comment: "always curious to me how these things are never discovered by run of the mill citizens but always those with 'agendas' - jess'sayn..." now really, was that so bad?!

My problem with Nextdoor is the Admins have way to much power. They suspend posts, punish people they don't like regardless of content bbn of the post. They gang up and censure for no apparent reason, and I don't usually get an email explaining what was offensive. I never put anyone down or use profanity. Most of my post inform. One was taken down because I copied a sex registry list so people in our community would know. I was told I was shaming them. What The Heck.
