I bought my grill Easter weekend April 2021. I do have a grill cover, but. Bbq one day in May it rain right after we Bbq, the grill was to hot to put the cover back on it. After one rain my grill look like I had it for years. The grills that I have had for years looks better then my 3 month old grill. I paid $162 for a grill that I have been wanting for years and I finally got one and was so so so so disappointed in it. The want to send me the side grill to replace the one that got messed up, so that means I have to pay someone to fix it for me. So that means I paid $200 for my dream grill that I paid $140 + taxes that came up to $162 + $40 for someone to fix it. Between this company & Home Depot that are not worth crap because Home Depot put it together now it's falling apart. I am soooooo angry about my dream grill. I hired this company 3 months prior to my trip to take 7 people to and from the Airport. The ride to the airport was ok, not great but ok. The return flight on the other hand was unbelievable. The company abandoned all 7 of us at the airport at 3AM. Our flight got delayed mid flight do to a storm that hit the airport and we where put in a holding pattern by the Airport. When we finally landed the Limo company I had hired Minuteman II was contacted and they stated we were on own, they had no one that could pick us up. I was beside myself, I hired a company that touted they treat you like family and there always there to get stranded in Newark at 3AM with 7 people with luggage and try to find rides home for everyone. Thanks for nothing Minuteman Limousine, I will never use your company again and I hope no one else uses you. They do not stand behind there word.

I saw a group Black Lives Matter promoting killing white people, so I started a White Lives Matter group and they kicked me off... I guess white Lives don't matter to Nextdoor app

This app is clearly racist they can know you being bullied on there by Caucasian people but as soon as you stand up they go delete the black person account wow I don't need Your app if I have to be harassed and bullied on their And I'm not on there to babysit a group of adult children that want everything their way

There will be no dialogue that is not "kind" on NEXT DOOR - it is the cancel culture policy, if its not nice, its out! I commented on someone condoning committing perjury in court - I was saying that was wrong, and criminal. It goes on and on - but, dare not shame anyone for being malicious, mean spirited, incorrect or illegal. If it's not kind, it gets CANCELLED! I have been permanently deleted for standing up for values and legal comments. One comment I corrected someone, saying something "... was a noun, not a pronoun, you failed grammar."
Apparently being grammatically correct is against the policy to point out as well. SO petty and wrong. CANCEL CULTURE PREVAILS on social media NEXTDOOR! Beware.

Have found over time that this is a super ad driven app so be prepared for the deluge. Guess rents in San Francisco are high. Also have seen over time that MAGA supporters are given a preference. They can attack but you can't defend. Also this app just has not been that helpful unless you are either looking for your lost cat or you spotted a coyote (live next to a wildlife habitat) yet again. Thought at the start this would be a great app. Now just sorely disappointed. No wonder the numbers for this are awful.

I set up a gmail just for nextdoor and started getting porn emails today. I think it's useless, nonsense posts and complaints.

NextDoor or ND is an ad marketing firm that feasts off of the communities they prey on through their community member-owners. In-turn, some of the resident owners get to carry out political agendas and avenge their disagreements with local neighbors by banning or restricting their comments or even suspending a resident all together. This is done under the guise of limiting offensive or objectionable comments. Worthy statements for sure. But in actuality the "ND Leads" side with their abusive friends to determine whose comments should be penalized. Ultimately, this assures ND's continued demised.

Unfortunitly, if you have a Nextdoor account you have lost control of your data. I went into my setting to delete my account. "Deleting your account cannot be undone, and you will not be able to retrieve any of the content you've contributed to Nextdoor. To submit a permanent deletion request, please contact our team. " I'm full aware that information is unretrievable. That is not the point, the point is that I am not in control of my own material. This is unacceptable.

I'm going to relate my personal experience. I'm not saying that these events will happen to everyone, but they definitely happened to me.

Approximately one week ago, I posted on Next Door in response to someone else's posting. In my response, I quoted some health statistics I found on the web. I included my source, as I wanted to be clear about where I had gotten my information.

My post was taken down subsequently. No explanation, no advance warning, nothing.

I then posted a polite request asking the admins to please explain when they remove someone's post. Many users agreed with me.

Subsequently, my second post (requesting an explanation) was removed. Again, no explanation, no warning, not even a courteous reminder.

Use Next Door at your own risk.

I like being able to chat with my neighbors quickly and easily. I feel much more aware of what is happening in my neighborhood.

However, I am trying to offer free services to my neighborhood, and I feel very restricted in how Nextdoor allows me to notify my neighbors. I can only post in the finds section or "make a local deal", which creates a post in the local deals section. I don't think these sections are viewed nearly as often as the general or recommendations sections. It is disappointing that many neighbors will not know about my free services, which are a way for me to give back to my community.

NEXT DOOR East Fort Lauderdale, FL - I wrote a post about three handymen who did not do a good job and was informative, non-combative, non-argumentative and twice it was removed. There is nothing wrong with advising your neighbors, which is what the app is for - neighbors helping neighbors. It has upset me so much that I have uninstalled the app and refuse to use Next Door (ND) again. It is HIGHLY UNFAIR and I have seen many horrible combative negative comments which SHOULD have been removed and are still there. How does ND come to a conclusion to remove my post? If I was yelling, combative, rude, ugly, argumentative, raunchy, cursing - then sure, that would be a reason, but for me to just INFORM my neighbors of bad service is NOT ACCEPTABLE! Moving on..

I had a business contract with Nextdoor corporate. They tried to fudge their metrics in order to pay me $1,000 less than they owed. I'm a one-person company and they tried to cheat met out of $1,000. I didn't let them and now they disparage me. It was a true David and Goliath situation. I couldn't believe how brazen they were about it. It was truly disgusting the way they behaved and their CEO knew and condoned it!

We have neighborhood leads who are also the homeowners association board. Any criticism of actions by the board are deleted, and the posters are censored or temporarily banned, even though there is no violation of TOS.
Complaints about this to Nextdoor, were disregarded, and the reported leads retaliated against those who reported them, by censoring and banning them. We are currently identifying other apps which are similar to Nextdoor, and preparing to migrate.

To much drug activity with Joe fence family and Mike polvere family and Matthew burns family and Gwendolyn Williams family selling drugs and meth and pit and always outside drinking beer like white nights, in the town if wabasso Florida, also new comers like the spencer family and other renters fighting and stealing, the worst place to live, sebastian fl and Vero FL and wabasso Florida are the worst place to live also indian river county and cops and judges are corrupt, don't move here..

I was a fan of this app. I thought that, unlike other forums, the usual pseudo macho and know-it-all, let's all pounce on hapless victims BS, wouldn't occur. HOWEVER, almost every time I posted, I would be harassed by one member, in particular, who didn't even disclose his last name. Recently, he made some very insulting remarks. I reported him but nothing happened.
I finally had enough and I fired back. I ended up getting banned for my comments, even though I reported him for continually posting sarcastic, irrelevant and insulting comments in response to my posts. Instead of looking at the history of both users, I was singled out because HE was offended.
This app is no different from any other forum, where bored, insecure people come to take out their oent up aggressions.
