Nextdoor censors the truth
September 11, 2021

I have had comments removed that were obvious truth. I've persisted and rewrote comments and added links to show members the truth. Now I have been suspended. I only know I'm suspended because it says so when I try to log on. They never told me I was suspended or what I was suspended for.

This app is being run by people who are tryin to brainwash folks into being peer pressured to take the COVID vaccine even if it's not necessary for you.
They are not protecting people's Constitutional rights
The people who run this app and the folks who bicker
And complain the most are people who are vaccinated that don't wear masks and don't keep 6 feet distance.
They really don't use Masks and don't keep 6 feet when you work for anyone in the app at their home but if you aren't vaccinated it's not enough that you wear masks and attempt to keep 6 feet distance.

Gripey, controlling, people that invade others personal
Space and constitutional rights. I'm done using this horrible app. I will bash it from here on out until it's irrelevant.

They are tryin to create a two tier society over
An invasion into medical rights.

If you believe in medical privacy do not use this app.

It's total horse crap

100 percent horse manure.

Found Adriana as a super referral for home cleaning services. Adriana is a dynamic deep cleaning pro to put our condo up for sale. Looks good enough to stay. Fast, reliable, competitive pricing, good communicator. A true five stars out of five *****. Forget the rest, even on Groupon, and you won't regret. Tom Flynn 35 years a real estate broker, appraiser, FHA Compliance Inspector, Bank Inspector and 100% EBay rated buyer/seller so no B. S. here. Choose Adrianna! Did way more than expected. Did like her own home and family coming for Christmas clean!

I can't understand how ND (fort Myers) moderators that complain about posts on general feed should not be political but look the other way with the rightwing posts, these come camouflaged with Nobel claims of prayers for falling soldiers and others directly promoting anti vaccines or maga events, when challenged, assertiveness is reported as bullying

This app is basically an online chamber of commerce cheerleading for local businesses which how the corp makes it money... off ads.
As for the "social" aspect, it seems to attract the uneducated, the leftists and the sad and angry all looking to $#*! on someone. I got on and cancelled within a year. Never miss it.

Nextdoor purposely makes it easy for other users to find where you live, yet they claim it's a private site. The people that run, moderate, and provide customer support, both sidestep issues on the platform and lie about it's safety. Furthermore, they levy the claim of "We believe that when members use their real names it builds trust and accountability and leads to more useful information sharing." (direct quote from an email from their customer service) while not holding themselves accountable of what is likely to happen when another user tracks you down if you say something they don't like, which has happened before!

Nextdoor is a danger to all of it's users.

I was banned from nextdoor.com, without warning or without letting me know. I have voiced my opinions, like everyone else. I have tried to get people to understand why people are down on their luck. This app supports racist and classicist people. All people do is complain about one another, yet there is no resolution. When one tries to offer advice or thought on how said problem can be resolved, people report you for no reason. Then Nextdoor.com bans you without warning and even without and email saying that you have been banned. The only way i found out that I was canceled by Nextdoor.com, was when I was trying to log in and they said my account does not exist. So I had my friend look for my name and my account was no where to be found. Screw this racist app!

This site is horrid. I was made a founding lead when I signed up. Everything was great until all the riots started happening. As a lead, I was asked to report and moderate. I did in accordance with the guidelines as things often got heated and folks lacked emotional inteligence. What did nextdoor.com do? Blocked me for reporting the TOS posts in violation. Any time it was a far left thing, this happened. If it was a far right thing, it was upheld and I was not docked privledges. There is a lot of bias. They added community reviewers and that is a totally biased poop show. Leads were sexually harassing other leads and they did nothing, even when I showed them the lead telling me to suck his penis and everything else inappropriate he wanted to do with me. They kept him on. The people who run it offer zero support, do not support their own TOS and certainly do not support their leads. This is a very poorly run social media site that I would not trust content or moderation from.

I wrote a post about a crazy woman trespassing on my property, turning on the hose and filling the soil and streets with water. When I started a thread, downtown resident Andrea Jackson called me a bully, coward, and a Karen. When I reported her, the moderators refused to remove her comments. Nextdoor instead gave me a one-month banning for no reason. I can no longer pick-and-choose the neighborhoods to post. When I start a thread, the entire city sees it.

I was in the middle of a thread about Covid and challenged the local administrator because he commented on a another person's post that he would not tolerate "misinformation". I challenged him as a self appointed fact checker. That's when he identified himself as the local administrator with 20 years of IT experience. I guess that was supposed to impress me, it did not. I continued to challenge his decision that the lady's post was misinformation. He then claimed that my profile was not complete. The next thing I knew I was locked out of Nextdoor. I really don't care as I was going to close my account because of his arbitrary censorship. I guess he feels powerful because he had the ability to censor me. This is the country we have become, when an insecure tech geek can bully others through social media censorship.

I witness one lady get censored for using the word God. She posted a wonderful nature picture and talked about God's beauty. The post was removed. But after a lot feedback the post was restored.

I was personally censored today. After posting scientific studies supported by NIH and listed on pubmed the moderator deleted my post because they didn't agree with the findings.

They will post anything as long as it is the opinion of the administration, opposing views are unacceptable. Hmmm sounds like communism to me. What happened to free speech in this country.

Nextdoor is the place to be if you want to keep current on what is happening in your area. You can find great recommendations from your neighbors on things like home repairs, lawn care, day care, restaurants, etc. Local law enforcement and government agencies also post on the site which is helpful in keeping current on important developments. Love my Nextdoor community!

I have had mild discussions on this site and when a republican party objective is identified. Its been shut down and my account suspended. I recently called the new cobb city of lost mountain a sham and with proven facts. My account was suspended.
The site hates speech not in line with their thoughts
Totally unacceptable and un American

Dictator for a lead
August 23, 2021

The clique is real and 90% of us are fed up with it! People are targeted and put down, lied about and it stays on the site. If you try to correct the information in an adult manor, you are suspended. Our lead has let his "friends" call me vulgar names. Laughs about it and suspends me. Walks around our neighborhood deciding who is next target will be when he suspends us. Truly disgusting!

Nextdoor is a joke
August 22, 2021

The other, majority of negative posts are 100% accurate. Totally arbitrary discipline results in multiple suspensions, racial bullying with no discipline delegated, anti police and military with once again, acceptance by Nextdoor… heres the most recent example of what caused me to be suspended…. Richard Pellegrino wow. Your post is so far out in left field this is the only response you'll get from me. Just WOW…. And another. Victoria Brown and yes i made that up to illustrate how ridiculous your argument …. And lastly… And with that childish remark you are MUTED…. As you can see totally benign and innocuous retorts by me to address bullying and other awful remarks made to me. Apparently all it takes is one person to complain and that results in a suspension for the offender. Nextdoor is a joke! Don't waste your time!

It's worse than fkbook. You can't call things the way they are. Like other reviewers say everything needs to be "sunshine and lollipops... sugar, spice and everything nice". This business wants your real name and address. Something i never give to any such online businesses. Of course they sell/share your info. Account needs to be verified with a real cell phone number. Verifying account with email is not enough. This invasive business wants to send you a post card to verify account. To your real address. That's invasion of privacy. If you post your own opinion, views, facts that conflict with others/nexdoor police, your account will be disabled (jail time lol). I only signed up to read non-business related neighborhood news. Not interested in any other events. Primarily criminal activity. I will no longer post/comment anything. I'll just read. I will not share any important information with "neighbors" because i might comment something that disagrees with nextdoor police and i'll be blocked again. I read reviews how users get blocked. It's ridiculous. Everyone has THEIR PERSONAL RIGHT to post facts or views/opinions based on facts/reality. My suggestion for nextdoor - shut it down. Stop existing.
