I was hoping this would be a useful tool to learn thing that are going on in my community. What I learned is Nextdoor, even after many complaints, allows their Leads to constantly bully and harass and publicly shame individuals with handicaps. Save yourself the frustration of even trying to report things that go against their community guidelines (what a joke), and stay away from the app altogether

Fck nextdoor.com... specifically the Philadelphia one. Every time I turn around my account is being disabled now, for nothing. I am being targeted. They're trying to be like fbook disabling people... well I hope they get disabled one day.

If you like censoring moderate or conservatives this is the place for you.

Opinions must be from the Leftist, Progressive, Socialist point of view, otherwise your posts and replies will be deleted without explanation.

Posting or replying moderate or conservative facts or thoughts has gotten me suspended several times four days each time, one time I was suspended for a week, and one other time I was suspended for a month. Posting or replying with facts that go against the Democratic Socialist point of view is a No No.

Others (not me yet) have been kicked off the site and their posts and replies have been scrubbed / deleted as if they never ever existed.

This is a potentially unsafe app because there are a number of trolls and bullies who enjoy harassing, discrediting and bullying their neighbors on the basis they don't share the same opinions. The leads allow these trolls and perhaps the leads and their friends ARE the bullies and trolls. I was permanently banned for sharing my new air cleaners which according to the manufacturer killed 99.9 % of viruses including COVID. I was permanently banned for spreading misinformation although I think it had more to do with reporting the violators who never get banned.
The leads have no oversight which explains why everyone is not treated equally. Higher level Next Door personnel don't seem to care
It's a shame because there is potential. Our HOA won't use this app and now I know why.

How can a rational human being suspend someone for posting a video, saying it was "false or misleading claims and conspiracy theories" when it was an actual live video proving the claim of adverse reactions? I think it's more about keeping us in the dark, than it is about protecting you from misleading claims.

Somehow I posted misinformation although I have never posted about COVID-19, National elections, nor vaccines.

James did an outstanding job replacing my kitchen and dining room light fixtures. He also fixed my four way light switch which was a Godsend! James is a very knowledgeable and skilled electrician who I would hire again for any electrical issues or lightening installations. Thank you!

Nextdoor censorship is appalling. They clearly do not believe in the First Amendment nor the Constitution of the United States. If they don't like something you post even with facts to backup your comments, they censor your post. I have witnessed this on many occasions and not to my posts but to many other discussion that I found interesting to read that had both sides of an issue. I'm sick of these manipulative websites, avoid this one!

If you are looking to get to know your neighbors, don't bother, because this site won't help you get to know a single one. I am Asian, and my one post about safety and being sexually harassed by a white male in my neighborhood was taken down amidst severe backlash. I wonder if a white woman's post would have received the same treatment. I don't want to meet these racist neighbors.

I was locked out because I posted things that were true & backed up by med reports & law enforcement. Someone took offense. They have become the thought & speech police since becoming part of FB. True statements are not allowed if it goes against liberal talking points.

I have been a member of Nextdoor for about 5 years. I can assure you that while they claim politics posts aren't allowed, if they support the narrative of the left, no problem. I created a group on the site of conservatives (which was private) and that group of 400 was removed without warning or good explanation from Nextdoor. In the past I have been temporarily tossed about 5 times for innocuous posts that go against the progressive narrative, and I have also been temporarily tossed for using the wrong address, and using the wrong name. Even though I have always used my correct name and have lived in the same neighborhood for a decade. My posts there are as cordial as this review. Most moderators who are picked are heavily left. This site is a Socialist echo chamber. The Internet wasn't supposed to be this way. That's a real shame.

Too bad Next Door is BIAS against conservatives.
When you silence what you dont agree with you manipulative others to hear and/or debate.
Next Door agenda is plain and simple "their political view or the highway."
Maybe the average middle class, hard working legal citizens will be able to get their information and other truths out through other avenues.
I think many will remember who allowed them to disclose information and who silenced them.
Amazing ND does not silence groups who burned and looted cities for one year but you talk about a President that cannot complete a sentence and you are shut down.
Fairness to hear 80 million citizens is not found on ND!
ND contributes to the division by silencing what they do not agree with.

People tried to harass me into meeting up with them in real life. Usually after some political sparring. Total creepers.

I have unsubscribe, blocked and also cant even log in. What on earth.

When order is restored in this country, I plan on spending the rest of my life making sure this app goes down for censoring people.

A woman who wanted to hassle me decides to become a "lead" just to harass me. There was nothing wrong with my post. ND removed it. When I asked the team why was removed- no answer.

Suspended me as an admin because someone reported me for not telling them what someone else had posted and removed even though it wasn't my business to tell ALSO the nextdoor app is very one sided and if you post anything that's not on that one side and doesn't go with nextdoors OPINION you get suspended or expelled nextdoor takes away your freedom of speech noone is allowed to talk about trump without getting removed but Biden is everywhere on there, I didn't vote for either but thats very politically discrimative also they pick and choose who they freely allow to discuss covid 19, they allowed someone to post statistics about covid from the weather channel and when everyone commented it wasn't proper sources of information, whereas the rest of us would get removed or our comments or posts removed the post was still kept up... nextdoor is discrimative as hell take it from an admin themselves

I created a group named Save the USA for members that were willing to put country above party. When the massive cyber attacks that changed the outcomes of the 2020 election was exposed within the group, a visitor to the group reported the post as disinformation and the group was removed.
