I have been blocked responding to people talking about religion and politics if you're not going to block them for doing so that's called discrimination if yo un only want religious republicans on nextdoor then say so but that's not what the app says they stand for. Very biased moderators

It's a site overrun with bullies and trolls separating neighbors by ideology and political factions. Neighbors trade insults under the guise of debate. Site monitors punish and censor the ones being bullied, not the bullies themselves. The lowest common denominator run the show because there are more of them, and/or their left wing politics align with those of the site "leads." Also, there is NO blocking so you can't get away from your tormenters. No stars would be more accurate.

Offering a customer's business page to another business owner does not look good for nextdoor.com. Is that what this company does offers a chance to sabotage your business by giving someone else access to your page.

I downloaded next door because I work for a rich gentleman who I keep housework he you know is often looking for handyman or plumbers or electricians or painters or this or that so I was told to look on next door but every time I get on next door you have people being so rude and disrespectful and always negative and complaining about everything and so when you comment about hey maybe we don't call people beggars and we call people you know names with a little bit more respect because the fact that they're not going to see it anyway it is ridiculous to me why you even make a comment on next door but okay so honestly I don't even want to be part of this site because I can't state my opinion but everybody else can braid me put me down call me all kinds of names say I'm being ignorant and disrespectful when in all actuality they have been ignorant the whole damn time from the start of the post but it's cool I don't need this app I'll find businesses somewhere else

Am sickened, all asked of local residents was for advice whether could keep boat/trailer in car park, turned out is privately owned by my housing company residing with, so nothing to do with Thanet Council. This site chose to close down my question, did appeal still did not allow, for what reason unknown? Have seen many people on this site had similar problems, my advice is to give it a good miss, all they after is local knowledge of who/where live?

A couple of things you need to know. The people on the review team in your neighborhood... are using multiple different accounts under multiple different names and probably don't even live in your area. They are frequently associated with city leadership and censor conversations to forward their own agendas. The racism and hatred towards the homeless, the poor, the lower-income, LGBT+, and minority ethnicities and religious systems are out of control. They use the board to encourage each other to harass members of the above-mentioned groups. The board allows for illegal, unlicensed selling of animals, open discussion of using firearms illegally, and the passing around of people's personal information for doxing purposes. Law enforcement uses the board to harass people. Reviewers who get banned use other people's accounts to post and can also access your personal information even if you block them. I've had a husband and wife team who were both reviewers go to other board members to get personal information and pass personal information along. I have reported this. Is remains unresolved. I have resorted to taking screenshots and saving them because my next step is to go public via the media/social media and possibly involve law enforcement. I would just stay away if you're not already on here. It's basically Snapchat and TikTok for over 40s. It is NOT safe. People are harassing entire communities of people over the things allowed to go on on this forum, and some members of law enforcement are square in the middle of it. Which means you may wind up having to get a lawyer involved. It's a dangerous place.

I try to post inspirational and positive posts but I have one person in my neighborhood that came against me as a Christian and reports everything I do and next door believes that every time and has put me in next door jail over and over I am so sick of that company. I asked them to delete my account since I can't get in for 30 days which is the 5th or 6th time oh they can't do that but they hid my account that's only in case I decided to sue the heck out of them. They ARE censorship Nazis. Their creepy algorithms parse words. Even posting the word "Hillary" triggers their censorship algorithm, where they then try to manipulate users into changing their words. They should be sued and shut down for such blatant militant psychological warfare being waged on civilians.

There is no decency or humanity in them. They hate the freedoms that Americans have fought and died for to protect.

NextDoor feigns decency, in order to manipulate, control and, ultimately, psychologically re-program the masses.

Nextdoor is discriminatory, censorious and authoritarian against any views or opinions other than socialist, leftist, woke or pro-Democratic Party views or opinions.

Neighbors who post views or comments which reflect socialist, leftist, extreme or pro-Democratic Party views are allowed to do so, and are allowed to be shockingly rude, disrespectful and obnoxious to people posting opposing or dissenting viewpoints. People who post views or comments of a conservative, libertarian, capitalist, Republican or even of a moderate, traditional liberal nature, in a polite and respectful manner, often are suspended, without notice or explanation, by unnamed "local moderators."

There is no appeal process; there is no way to challenge a suspension or a ban; there is no way to understand specifically the reason for which one is suspended or banned.

Nextdoor is an Orwellian technology platform. The operation and management of Nextdoor is right out of the totalitarian playbook.

We live in a gated community surrounded by and included in a nextdoor neighborhood. Wanted them to exclude us from the neighborhood since we have no contact with those residents, so we could make our own neighborhood. They would not do that. They were unhelpful.

The app is really useful except it does sensor our right to free speech! Too bad they do not even have a staff designated to deal with arbitrary suspensions like the one I just received. All I can imagine I said in any thread was that God was actually an ancient alien being, that was competing with other alien beings at the time of when all the ancient writings were being cataloged. I bet the guy who I disagreed with (the author of the thread) reported me to Nextdoor and wallah I was suspended. It's a shame that people hold everything aside from their truths as an insult, and will report you as a discriminator and a bully in order to shut you up. Ridiculous platform for that reason only, but it's a BIG reason!

Nextdoor hast been taken over by Marxist mobs. They promote extremely authoritarian groupthink and conduct search and destroy missions against anyone who dares to disagree with their agenda. Stay away if you have any self-respect.

I joined next door for help in finding my lost cat and was almost immediately disabled and my responses from neighbors lost because I logged in with my Google account, an option, that was opened with an alias to protect my privacy. Next Door picked up my Google alias as my real name and immediately banned me even though I had used my real name in my posts. This is the most paranoid social media outlet on the net. There is no appeal and they will ban you, disable your account and throw out your messages at any excuse with no way for you to dispute it. It is useless for doing simple things like finding a lost pet in your neighborhood or selling personal property or looking for a car to buy. Do not use Next Door. This is a crazy paranoid waste of time that will rope you into paranoid sniping discussions and narcing on your neighbors and looking for excuses to cancel your account when you are only doing things like looking for a lost pet. Use legitimate sites like Paw Boost for lost pets. You don't want to get involved with these people.

NEXTDOOR will not allow basic conversation.
If you state an opposing view, that THEY do NOT agree with, you are Banned, with them never telling you why you were Banned!
China does the SAME type of censorship!
But, they will at least tell you what they think you did wrong!

ND has inconsistent enforcement of the community rules. ND allows those with political favor to control access to the ND platform. My community's Leads of ND Platform in my community get people suspended for having opposite political positions. I have resolved to use Twitter & Facebook to share and receive information from my neighborhood & overall community.
