I ordered a laptop from NewEgg.com. I called to see if I could exchange it for a full refund. There was a better one at a cheaper price. I was told of course. There was not information about second part buyer. I was told they would not give a full refund once they received the laptop back. The original price was $485.00 and they stated that they were only going to give me back $396.54. I called and Eathan the supervisor literally told me they had that right to do that. I stated if I had been told that at the time I would not of sent it back. First of all one of their customer service people is the one that helped me pick the laptop out. He never said anything about 2nd or 3rd party sellers. Eathan stated that he would send an email on my behalf to ask the seller if they would give the restock fee back. If you ask me New Egg owes me $88.46. They are the responsible party. This a crooked Scam. DO NOT BUY FROM NEWEGG.COM!

Avoid buying on newegg. It's very likely that you'll lose your package, and their customer service does nothing helpful to find your missing package. They will waste your time with useless responses and there are no way of responding to their decisions once they process (most likely deny) your claims. With incompetent service like this you'll understand why so many people report missing packages with newegg - delivery companies are allowed to make mistakes and the customers are left to bear the consequence.

I give Newegg a 2 star rating for good reason. I have ordered plenty of items from Newegg in the past and I tend to stay away since the stories I've heard of packages being marked as delivered but the driver does not attempt to deliver it. Well it's unfortunately more than this. The purchases I've made in the past either came on time or late. It was always a 50/50 chance you would get it on time(Pre-COVID). Luckily I never purchased anything of great value until now. I recently purchased a new $200 motherboard and was anticipating its arrival so I decided to stay home for most of the day to be there to receive it. I also have a ring security camera that I have set to record at all times. NO ONE attempted to deliver it but marked it as "delivered". After doing research I found its the shipping company OnTrac that Newegg uses most of the time for their "fast n free" shipping. 1.1 STARS! However the employee reviews mention it's a good place to work. No duh, you can steal mail(federal crime btw) and are protected by the policies in place. After being tossed back and forth between OnTrac customer support and Newegg customer support I can finally open up a claim. What I WANT is my motherboard AND my money back since this is putting off my pc build for at least another week. Most of all I want OnTrac shut down or delivery drivers held responsible for being thieves on a federal level.

Bought a laptop from them, the camera was defective, tried every trick in the book to fix it, nothing worked so I returned it. Got promised I wouldn't be charged for the return fee, so I sent it back. They got it and then lied and claimed that a factory reset fixed it. I tried that multiple times and it didn't work so I know they're lying to me and stealing over $260 from me.

Never had a problem getting my parts from them even though the shipping was sometimes a tad slower than desired. The times I've needed to make a return they always accepted valid merchandise back no questions asked.
Only issue is they're always out of stock and overpriced on new graphics cards. Hard to complain about much in my experience otherwise.
I ordered all of the parts for a custom PC for my sons to build for Christmas. I ordered part on 11-28-20 and another order on 11-30-20. A few days before Christmas it became obvious my video cards and CPU fans would not arrive on time. I ordered from Ebay and Amazon and was able to get the components to my house before Christmas. Newegg acknowledged that the fans were lost and started a 7-10 day claim for me(not helpful). However, the video cards were supposedly on schedule from China. I was not aware I ordered something from China. I assumed it was all from Newegg. Wrong. Anyway after it was too late for Christmas I received my items that I now had no use for. I had to pay return shipping and restocking fees on the packages. Close to 80 dollars. I understand they cannot control shipping times but a month is unreasonable by any standard and I should not be held financially responsible for the shipping delays. First and last dealings with Newegg. They only care about the bottom line and are not interested in taking care of the customers needs unless it makes them a buck. Amazon always takes care of any issues I have and I should never have taken my business away from them. Lesson learned.

I placed an order for a video card and motherboard on 12/11. I live 30 miles from Newegg. The package was lost by their carrier. I called and used their "chat" many times and was told to "wait". After 2 weeks, they finally open an "investigation". After a total of 3 weeks they tell me that the package is lost. 3 weeks.
They send a replacement video card, and now I no longer need the motherboard so I try to return it. They now tell me that since it's been 3 weeks, " the return policy has changed" and they no longer accept partial returns. The "return policy" changed AFTER I placed the order. After a chat with their agent Justin Y., he agreed, the policy had changed, but still refused a partial refund.

On Nov 21st I placed an order for a video/graphics card. The amount was over $400. They sent the order UPS ground, which took a week. On the day it was sent to be delivered (Nov 30th), UPS lost the package but would not confirm its loss. For 3 days UPS kept saying the package would arrive before finally admitting it was lost. On Dec 3rd I filed a lost merchandise claim with UPS, and on Dec 6th I filed with NewEgg. On Dec 9th UPS confirmed that the package could not be found and closed the claim. As of today (Dec 17th), NewEgg has still not refunded my money. I have called them several times, but I am constantly told they are processing the request. I CANNOT GET MY MONEY BACK!

NewEgg Business would not do anything to help me get my product from a vendor after I waited 23 days for the order to arrive! I contacted the vendor twice and then I contacted NewEgg and they said they would not help me because the product was (supposedly) shipped from a third party vendor. We ordered Brother laser toner 4 pack cartridges with a cost of close to $300. Didn't realize the purchase was directed to a third party until i went back to look at the sales receipt because the printer ink (fine powder) leaked all over my black printer drum. After spending hours trying to clean the fuser and searching for how to fix via Brother website, I saw warnings about Ink leakage and non-authentic toner cartridges. Brother directs you to look for a hologram on the box to prove authenticity. No hologram. Email to New Egg resulted in their stating that Brother would not refund. No kidding, since Brother was NOT the 3rd party seller. No resolution and now I am not only out the $300, but also need to replace the printer drum AND still order toner replacement. New Egg is awful, does not stand behind 3rd party sellers, does not try to resolve and does NOT care about loyal customers. AVOID at all costs!

I tried to order an RTX 3080 vision bundle with a PSU (you can only order 1 per customer) but my card got declined for fraud prevention reasons. I cancelled the order, sorted it out with my bank and tried to order again. Order goes through and it all looks okay. I then get an email from newegg a couple minutes later saying my order was declined because I already ordered this combo even though I already CANCELLED the other order and it didn't even go through in the first place! I get an email telling me to update my payment information and the order will still go through so I click on the link it gave me but it doesn't accept it because I'm not in the US and it wants details only from the US. I'm absolutely livid because it's so difficult to get this graphics card right now and newegg just screwed me over for no reason. There needs to be a system in place to see if an order has been cancelled or not so you can order again. Couldn't even use their online chat because it wouldn't let me click through to it. Terrible experience.

I've built several PCs over the last 20 years. They've been my first stop most times.
I only had to make a return once and they took the ram back without question and seem honest to me.
My only issue with them is their stock of new amd or nvidia graphics cards is always low. They always sell out quick and have waiting lists for weeks or months. I don't know if it's a supply issue or just what but this is my only issue with them sometimes. That's the price of living on the bleeding edge.
Anytime I need parts for fixing up some gaming rigs, I come here. They have a good selection, though sometimes hot new items are out of stock for a few weeks. The one time I needed to return something, they gave me 0 hassle. I'll use them again.
I purchases ASROCK DESKMINI X300.
The product is fine, but some seller charges a high premium. I waited a long time for Newegg to list it for $169 and bought it immediately, thinking I got a deal, especially during this pandemic.
However, 5 days after my purchase, Newegg is selling it for $149. It was fine, so I called and asked for a price match. It took the representative 15 minutes to look it up. I waited but was informed Newegg would not refund me the $20 difference because it is black friday sale right now. They left me the only option to return my first order ($169) and place a second order ($149), plus I had to pay for the return shipping (~$12).
Of course I didn't do anything in the end--my time is much more worth than a few bucks. The only time I buy from Newegg rather than from Amazon is when Newegg has sales. But since Newegg doesn't honor its price match policy during holiday seasons, I'd avoid it completely in future. At least you get worry-free return on Amazon, or other local stores. There are a few Reddit threads talking about Newegg's terrible price match policy. Read them before you buy.
For any of you thinking about buying it, the lowest price I've seen is $149 for your reference. Don't pay a premium on these!

I ordered a computer case on Saturday and paid extra for three-day shipping as it was to be a gift the next weekend.
The following Sunday I was updated by their system that the time was packaged and a tracking number was issued.
On Monday, the package never left their facility.
On Tuesday, the package never left their facility.
On Wednesday, the package never left their facility.
On Thursday, the package never left their facility.
Now I have filed a shipping claim and I'm waiting on them to refund my money as I scramble for a last minute gift. Without those particular funds of course as their system says it can take up to 10 days to give me my money back for an order that still to this day sits in their warehouse.
The words "Shipment ready for UPS" will be haunting me for a long time.

Submitted an order for a monitor, received a confirmation email that the order was in progress.
Attempted to check the status a day later and found they had locked my account.
When I queried this I was advised that they suspended my account and I needed to send them an email for them to unlock it. I was also advised that my order was cancelled.
I was never contacted by Phone OR email about any issues.

I made a Purchase for new Asus Tuf monitor on 10/7/2020, They sent me a used one. I made a claim for replacement. I drove to UPS to sent back the used one and replacement claim was approved but never sent. I called just to find out that they said there was non in stock, I was given a $25 gift and used it to buy ram. Mind you because of their sloppiness they transferred my funds for the replacement monitor that doesn't exist so the issue on refund for my money was delayed. When I called to explain my frustration they offered another $25 gift card (these expire in 1 month) but what you want me to buy more things for their profit. Instead supervisor refunded me $25. Surprise I got my $25 refund but still not my full refund for monitor to this day. They have had my money since the 10/07/2020. I called making this my 7th time calling and the rep asks if I received my replacement, They are all lost there, I asked for the supervisor again. Me and same supervisor did speak on the 20th so we would be within the 2-5 business days for refund but it should have been issued 10/14/2020 instead of transferring my money to a non-existent replacement. Surprise again while I'm explaining my anger at this point I receive the email stating my refund has been issued while I am on the phone. I have left several good reviews but after being patient for so long I lost it when the supervisor said "cool" for me to leave a bad review and I asked if he really thinks it would be cool and he said "yes". To explain again do you really believe that my experience here was okay and that I still have no product, had to buy it else where at a higher cost, you issued a replacement yourself when nun was in stock and since my purchase on 10/07/2020 I still don't have my money, absolutely not! Though the supervisor says everything was fine. After being a member with Newegg for years and made thousands of dollars on purchases through their website and other platforms I am done. I really hope that people understand my frustration for I company I use to hold dear. They are not the same R. I. P. Newegg

Answer: The reason why i gave a bad review was because i ordered a phone for my wife, An I-phone 5 and NewEgg.com only sent a box with the manual and a charger for the phone. I called NewEgg.com and explained to them and they stated i needed to wait while they investigate, they never got back to me so i called them again. The person i talked to put me on hold then came back to me and stated she was checking this what was going on and kept putting me on hold for a total of 45 minutes to only come back and tell me that i need to send them a picture of the box and contents. I have no clue what my wife or children did with the box now i am screwed. 219.00 down the drain. This was the first and last purchase i will make until the get this straight.
