Placed an order on 1 October 2020. Newegg provided tracking number however until this day the tracking number they provided when check only shows that a shipping label was created, nothing else. By this time at least it should in transit but is not. Also the type of tracking number provided show that the product is sent from China? If I Knew that the item was coming from China I would have never placed the order. Bad way of doing business. Never again.
I purchased a 5700 xt for $450 on Oct 2.the GPU came defective, I returned it two weeks ago it says it was delivered back to the warehouse on Oct 9. A week later I don't even have acknowledgment email of them receiving it or getting a replacement. I have no GPU so I don't have a computer. Amazon would never do this to me. This is criminal behavior at its finest, I don't really want to go through my bank but it looks like I might have to. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY FROM THEM

I purchased a monitor from Newegg and returned it because I was dissatisfied with the light bleed from the edges. Newegg deducted the return shipping and additional 15% because they classified it as product dissatisfaction. I ended up spending almost $100.00 to return a monitor that I considered defective. I have been purchasing pc equipment from them for over 20 years. I will NEVER do business with them again. You shouldn't either. Buy from Amazon or Best Buy.

So sunday i ordered parts to build a new computer i went with newegg because they had next day shipping placed the order got conformation it would arrive tuesday my order shows up missing the motherboard and video card those are arriving saturday i called customer service up and asked why their website didnt let you know that not all items would be sent next day i paid for it to be next day if i would have known that i would have went amazon and gotten it wednesday at this rate i will have to go buy them local today just so i can get back up and running ande customer service was totally useless

Newegg has some special deals that are great. But if you have a problem of ANY kind be prepared for a never ending nightmare. It seems like they are set up to sell at low margins, and customer service is an afterthought.

Finally, on 9/17, my package was shipped! It arrived on 9/19. The box looks like the UPS elephant sat on it! I am waiting for Newegg to send me a RMA information for return of the unopened package. No, I do not recommend Newegg.

I ordered on 8/27/2020, they sent an email my order was being processed.
On 8/28, they said it was shipped and will be delivered on 9/2?
On 8/30, it shows it is still waiting for pick up by the UPS, but the UPS is waiting for a shipping label.
On 8/31, new egg has it in transit, but their website says it is waiting for pickup?
On 9/1, it is still at new egg warehouse.
On 9/2, the order is still in the warehouse, but the tracking shows it in transit. And ups says it is waiting for a label and the usps says it is waiting for ups to pick it up?
It was supposed to be delivered today, but is still in Indiana.
Me thinks new egg is cracked after falling down and is waiting to be put back together again.
Oh, and I can't cancel the order, because they charged my CC on 8/27, and can't stop the order because the order was shipped, but is still in the warehouse.

I recently purchased a router (Orbi) that was supposed to be up to factory standards.
When I received it, after much frustration in attempting to set t up, I discovered it hadn't even been reset to factory settings!
After making this discovery, I reset it to factory settings and managed to get it setup. Unfortunately, it continuously rebooted randomly for the next couple of days so I went online to Newegg and tried to arrange a return and exchange for a new unit.
The Newegg "assistant passed me off to an offline " technical advisor" saying I'd be charged a one time, refundable fee for answering my questions. What question? I discovered that this "service" setup a recurring monthly charge on my PayPal account for $46/month!
Obviously, I cancelled this thanks to an alert from PayPal.
I finally got a return label and today discovered I'm being charged a $45 restocking fee because the supplier plugged it in and it came on!,
Avoid? Newegg's at all costs, they'll be yours!

The Nvidia 3080 rollout out on 09/17/2020 was another example of Newegg selling goods they do not have and then pushing other products on the web site. Bait and Switch which is illegal. Are they in collusion with resellers to keep priced High?
I ordered 64GB of ram on August 24. They shipped 32GB of ram of a wrong speed. I sent it back and am still waiting for the replacement. I spoke to 4 different customer support people, none of them helped. They still haven't sent the correct item, it's now been 23 days since I ordered. The stress and problems using Newegg are not worth saving a few bucks. Order from Amazon, or BestBuy, or ANYWHERE else. NEWEGG HAS GOTTEN REALLY BAD! YOU ARE WARNED!

Bought a refurbished computer. It took 12 days to arrive. Sent it back 24 days later as I had a friend look at it and was on vacation. They won't refund my money or replace it with a comparable model. Disgusting. Horrible customer service stealing my money.

Would give 'no stars' if choice existed.
Motherboard purchased from Newegg was 'dead on arrival'. Newegg rejected return for refund claiming damage to cpu socket which is disputed. Upon receipt manufacturer packaging indicated suspected 'open box' or refurbished as components showed use. Build was time critical, therefore went ahead with minimal 'out of case' assembly. Board would not post. Manufacturer support confirmed dead board and recommended return to Newegg. Visual inspection of socket before return indicated no damage. I've been building systems for years - there was no damage from attempted assembly. Newegg's policy allows them to dodge any responsibility. In process encountered terrible customer service. Don't buy from these clowns.

I have been purchasing business computer equipment from Newegg.com for a number of years and they have never disappointed. Shipping is fast and I often get my product shipped same day as order is submitted. Their pricing is very competitive. Have not had to return anything to them. Sometimes a bit difficult to get customer service on the phone but they are available via email and they do respond quickly.
I would rate it lower if I could, I had an issue with the package that was sent before(Showed a deliver by date when ordering and paying, when date came they claimed it was really a different date). I should have never used them again. With everything that is going on with the USPS I made sure it would be shipped using UPS. Well they fail to mention they only use UPS to give it to USPS. Now they are doing a claim process that can take an additional 7-10 business days, and I am sure even longer after that to get my money back. I ordered the package July 19th with estimated 4-7 business days delivery time frame. It is now August 8th.
I will literally use any other company even if I am paying more just to avoid NewEgg. If I hear of anyone even THINKING of using NewEgg they will get an ear full from me, and my recommendation will be to use ANYONE else. I am now in the process of finding every review site I possibly can, so I can blast newegg. That is how bad my experiences with this company have been. I will be loud and vocal to any and all about it.

I recently decided to build a gaming pc to play some games with my friends. I acquired most of the parts and decided to order my Samsung Evo 970 SSD from newegg since they had a better deal on it. The couple of dollars I was going to save ended up being a complete loss and a complete nightmare. Firstly, newegg did not present and give me an accurate tracking arrival date and time. Because of that error, I woke to an email saying that my package was delivered. I quickly go check the front door and luckily no one took the package. That was the first mistake. As I picked up the package, I realized it seemed to light even though it was only an SSD so I quickly go open the yellow manilla folder/envelope, and to my surprise, there is ABSOLUTELY nothing inside my package. This is mistake #2. I immediately go contact the online chat newegg and the representative I had was awfully rude and was quick to assume without knowing the full situation. The representative was also impatient. This was mistake #3. Then they told me that they had to follow through with a claim with both the warehouse and courier but I have no idea why the courier is at fault when it was YOU GUYS at NEWEGG that clearly messed up and sent me an empty package. As infuriated as I was, there was nothing I could do to change the situation but they did reassure me that everything would be fine. Fast forward 4 days to today, I recently got an email saying that they cannot honor my claim after finishing the investigation. Mistake #4. SO AFTER THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE I ENDED UP TRYING TO SAVE MONEY BUT LOST OUT SO MUCH AND STILL HAVE TO GET A SSD CARD. NO REFUND! NO SSD CARD! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AS THEY DO NOT PUT THEIR CONSUMERS AND CUSTOMERS FIRST! Honestly, I don't want to reach out to them anymore and probably go dispute this my bank if newegg does try to help. But FYI do shop and expect much from them.

Placed an order on 7/20, revived an email that the item was in stock and would ship by end of day, 7/21. My credit card was then charged. Everyday i checked order status, it always showed "being packaged", after 7 days i was finally told the item had not yet shipped and was being packaged. I was allowed to cancel my order, which i did. They say i have to wait 3-5 business days for them to issue credit. Do not order from this company..

This is a very good store in case you are wondering. I would not say that it ishte best though It still has soe negative aspects and one of them is the response time. I would liek it better if they responded a bit faster than theuy did to my requests. The delivery was also not the best in the market. THey can do better.
After spending almost $2000 on a new build PC, I was sent 2 faulty parts that made it impossible to complete the build. I immediately called them (2 days after receiving shipment to tell them I'd like to return all items since they ship faulty parts. They fought with me for DAYS trying to just issue me store credit and not accept my returns. Finally, they said I could return the items AT MY OWN SHIPPING EXPENSE AND ONLY RECEIVE PARTIAL REFUND. In the end, I will only get about half of my money back after being sent bad products. MAKE SURE YOU DO YOUR OWN DUE DILIGENCE BEFORE SHOPPING HERE!
Answer: The reason why i gave a bad review was because i ordered a phone for my wife, An I-phone 5 and NewEgg.com only sent a box with the manual and a charger for the phone. I called NewEgg.com and explained to them and they stated i needed to wait while they investigate, they never got back to me so i called them again. The person i talked to put me on hold then came back to me and stated she was checking this what was going on and kept putting me on hold for a total of 45 minutes to only come back and tell me that i need to send them a picture of the box and contents. I have no clue what my wife or children did with the box now i am screwed. 219.00 down the drain. This was the first and last purchase i will make until the get this straight.
