I bought my computer parts from here and they had great prices. The shipping was fast and handled with care to the up most detail. Every since my purchase here I would come back with out a doubt.
We ordered a $1,300 ASUS laptop from newegg.com. It was rush ordered so the package arrived the next day. When we opened the package, there was no laptop inside, instead the laptop box contained a package of copy paper and a water bottle. All the paperwork was missing from the box also. We immediately contacted newegg and sent pictures of the packaging and the contents. Customer service told us they would follow up with us in a few days and offered no reassurance that we would not be charge for this order. We were already having an awful experience and newegg has made it worse with a slow response time. I will never again buy a product from newegg, this has been the worst customer service I have ever received and they clearly have issues with quality control.

Well the Mac Mini started up and would not allow any installation of new software, registered w/ "Uncle Ho" w/ unknown password. Tried installation w/ supplied installation disks, "damaged", non-repairable, don't they check or reset anything beforte sale? NOOOooo... Now I'm out $500 and will wait, wsait, wait for refund of my hard earned $$$.

(2/18/2011) NOT TO BE TRUSTED WITH MISSION CRITICAL ORDERS! Ordered two $1200 NAS devices for a client emergency (also added rush and overnight delivery). Rec'd an email to authorize shipping address with bank. Did this immediately and resubmitted order. Nothing from customer service that day, next morning used chat customer service (since they don't appear to provide a human to speak with). They assured me i would receive confirmation within 2 hours - Nothing! Researched on web for actual phone number, found one on another compliant site, called and customer service rep said 30 minutes it would be processed and that he would personally watch it and send email to confirm... Nothing. Canceled order and going elsewhere as we cannot meet SLA with 2+ days of processing! Sorry Newegg... wont be bringing any business to you again.
If you're thinking of going to Best Buy for electronics, stop, return to the computer, and go to NewEgg. Their prices are usually unbeatable. They have a no frills approach to tech sales. Their site design leaves something to be desired, in my opinion, but you can't top their prices and service.

In my case, I ordered a speaker set that was incomplete (even though it was not advertised as such). Sounds confusing to install? It was. I attempted to return it unused (although I did look at it before returning it - maybe that qualifies as "used.") Newegg custimer service started out helpful, and asked me to return for a refund. I went through the whole process of packaging and returning the set. After receiving the whole thing, they bizarrely changed their mind about the refund they promised me...
And here's the kicker! They claim to have sent it back on Dec. 15, but I still haven't received the item back! So as of now, they have *stolen* $250 from me, as I don't have the item back in my possession but have not been issued an refund either!
I will NEVER buy from this company again. There is a reason why companies like this can get away with slightly cheaper prices (to the extent this place has them) - their customer service can do whatever it wants, because there is no chance they will have to deal with you face to face. Buyer beware! Go with a place that you can actually visit, or an online company that has a bricks and mortar set-up as well - or at least with a company that doesn't outright steal from its customers!
Returns are made simple, prices are awesome, quality is A+.

They are great if there are no issues with your order, but if something happens to your shipment, Newegg will NOT help you. I had a shipment from Newegg left on my porch without a signature, and it was stolen (caught on security camera). I contacted Newegg, and they said they would file a claim for it. They came back saying the claim was rejected because it was stolen rather than lost. I contacted UPS, and they say no claim was ever filed for that shipment. UPS seemed interested in helping, and has said they are liable for stolen packages if they leave one without a signature, but I need to go through the shipper to file a claim. Newegg changed their wording as to whether they actually filed a claim, or just knew that UPS wouldn't pay it, but wouldn't help. They suggested I file through my homeowner's insurance (pointless for a $205 item, under deductible).
So I contacted my credit card company, as they have "purchase assurance". They filed a chargeback to Newegg, and the next day my Newegg account got suspended. Now I'm banned from Newegg, can't purchase again, can't even look up my past purchases, all because they didn't want to file a claim with UPS. After searching online, this appears to be standard procedure for them. Any chargeback to them and they ban you, regardless of fault. If anything happens to your shipment, be prepared to eat it, or to consider that your last business with Newegg. Newegg uses their dominance in the marketplace to strongarm their customers against filing claims against them. File a claim, and you're banned.
They sold me a refurbished monitor as a open box customer return.
Invoice *******. I notified them and got an RMA, but demanded my shipping and no restock fee. They have not notifed me. I think they are unethical and also committed fraud by not stating it was refurbished. After carefully reading all open box definitions, I found a defintion from several they had on their website that has an incomplete sentence stating "Refurbishment is done by the manufacturer" under FAQ for Open Box. In all the body of text in the website, no other reference to refurbished is stated. They pawned off a refurbished monitor as a new open box, plain and simple. 12/22/2010. My order number was ******* and my name is Truman L. Woodall.

My experience includes in depth product and vendor research. Over the last four years I have requisitioned over $25,000 in PC related purchases from Newegg.
In that time Newegg.com is the only business I have ever dealt with that gets a 100% customer satisfaction rating from me and maintains a national customer satisfaction rating of over 96%.
So long as Newegg maintains the excellent service they have provided to me, I will continue to be an avid customer.

I was first attracted to the promotion that was advertised on their banner. Only to learn after I made my purchase online that it was not available it was ended because they they ran out of gift card funds. Newegg did not contact me about this until I called to find out how to receive the promised gift card. They utilize deceptive and unfair advertising practices to entice customers for sales. I spoke with numerous customer representative daily about other details of my purchase - each providing different, insufficient, and conflicting information. I canceled my order because the service is slow, inconsistent, poor, and the customer representative really do not provide accurate information when questioned. Do not use this company - it is worth the few extra dollars to go to a reputable service who knows how to provide quality customer service.
I had a very frustrating experience buying a monitor from newegg.com. I'd purchased a samsung 24" monitor and when I received it, the power cord did not fit the monitor. I thought it might be a problem with the cord, so asked if newegg.com could send me another power cord. They couldn't do that but asked me to buy from another dealer and credit me the amount. I did that but the new cord still did not fit. I returned the whole thing to newegg.com but they deducted the cost of the new power cord. Now, I have a useless power cord, paid extra and still have no monitor. I will not buy fro newegg.com again. It's a big gamble purchasing anything from them.
Great! Received quality products at my front door 4 days later! Site is easy to navigate. Reviews are very helpful when deciding whats best for your dollar. Order status is updating frequently so you know just when to get your box cutter. The products are packaged safely, and the boxes are so sturdy that we often donate them to movers.
Had to return a keyboard once, my error, wrong connector; they sent a replacement out BEFORE I returned the wrong one. Was handled as an exchange. I really appreciated that! Was NOT charged extra shipping for second keyboard, and did not have to pay to ship back the wrong one!
I was refered to Newegg through a Uberi link. I was looking for a laptop as a gift for my mother at Christmas. Uberi showed an advertised price at Newegg for 449.99. I clicked the link and was sent to the Newegg home page. The price that came up there was 599.99, but at the time of checkout the coupon code from Uberi was applied. Newegg still charged my card the 599.99. The confirmation e-mail sent to me did not state the price charged only that my card had been successfully charged on 12/3. In addition there was no invoice or receipt in the box that stated the charge amount. It was only when I received my bank statement 2 weeks later that I noticed the error. I assumed it was an honest mistake and called Newegg customer service. Before calling them I returned to the website and saw customer reviews for the item from the day before and the day after my purchase where others commented on the great value of 449.99. The customer service rep proceeded to tell me that there was never a time when Newegg sold this item for that price. What? I explained to him that I was looking at the website right then and it clearly disputes that claim. He emphatically denied the price and basically told me that I had agreed to the terms and conditions at the time of checkout and I had to deal with it. It is obvious to me that Newegg is more concerened with building it's bank accounts than customer relationships! When I asked if I was able to return the item and repurchase at the still advertised price of 449.99 I was told that I could but there would be a 15% RESTOCKING FEE. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I will never do business again with them. Buyer beware with Newegg and check your account information This may have happened to you too.
Highly recommended for computer parts and electronics in general. Much wider selection than Best Buy, and better service than Fry's. Very quick standard shipping, usually arriving within 3 days. I've even purchased a few refurbished items, all of which continue to work.
Answer: The reason why i gave a bad review was because i ordered a phone for my wife, An I-phone 5 and NewEgg.com only sent a box with the manual and a charger for the phone. I called NewEgg.com and explained to them and they stated i needed to wait while they investigate, they never got back to me so i called them again. The person i talked to put me on hold then came back to me and stated she was checking this what was going on and kept putting me on hold for a total of 45 minutes to only come back and tell me that i need to send them a picture of the box and contents. I have no clue what my wife or children did with the box now i am screwed. 219.00 down the drain. This was the first and last purchase i will make until the get this straight.
