Great website and many great deals, however, sometimes, products can be defective, you must check after you received because there is a limit time for exchange/return. Overall is great saving websites, We recommend.

Fast shipping, good prices and an awesome selection of products, beats bestbuy by a huge margin... only drawback is that if using credit they will only ship to your billing address, though not a biggie.

I purchased my laptop from them for school. My only complaint is that the packaging was awful. When the UPS man tell you to report the packaging you know it must be bad. Thankfully the computer was unharmed.

I am a computer enthusiast and often build my own systems. I also do a lot of repairs for my friends and family members, known to be the PC guru of the family. I often order my hardware parts from Newegg because they have just about anything I need in one place and offer free shipping to my state, something I ALWAYS demand when doing business on the internet! They also have good customer service and I have never had a complaint about an item I had to return through no fault of their own. Their prices could be more competitive, given the volume they do with online sales though- thus the only 4 stars.

This company is a nightmare. I ordered a refurbished GE X600 digital camera from them and the wrong color was wrong, there was one part missing, and the LCD screen was damaged. I had asked for a replacement, but after several days they decided they don't have any more of that camera, so they sent me a refund. But they're so stupid they screwed that up too and didn't issue a refund for the extended warranty I got with it. It will be a miracle if they actually refund a single penny. This company should be out of business.

Guess it will be a waste of time trying to type in my problem with newegg since everyone are having similar issues. Newegg is not what it used to be for sure.
Ignorant customer service, careless managment.
Been in business for way too long for their taste in my opinion, I for one will never shop or recommend to anyone.

Website is a trap. You Google your way in and can never get back to your Google search. Look at history and you are hundreds if not thousands of levels deep. I realize it isn't difficult to go start another tab/window, but what the heck. Poor form.

Newegg was my favorite place to shop for high-end computers parts but not anymore and never will be. I have building and buying computer parts from newegg for over four years and it was great till recently I bought a Intel core i7 4770 from newegg and it was DOA (Computer crash in few hours of stress test). The CPU is Defect but have no physical damage at all. I sent the CPU in for RMA and I get rejected due to "The CPU has dents on the left and right side of the CPU. End-user would need to contact the product manufacture for direct support". WHAT? I pack my CPU very carefully with tons of peanut around all sides and the CPU is sit in it original box. There is no way that it dent due to shipping. Newegg customer support refuse to help and keep saying "Nothing we could do" WHAT? Ok now I end with a DENT CPU that is useless piece of junk. I very unhappy with newegg RMA and customer department. They treat you like crap and would not help you but even those it clearly that they dent my CPU and refuse to replace it. This cause me a lot of time and a big lost of $360(Not Include shipping) I WILL NEVER EVER USE OR BUY ANYTHING FROM NEWEGG EVER AGAIN. GOOD BYE!. I WILL TELL EVERYONE ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE WITH NEWEGG CUSTOMER SERVICE. It is Unprofessional and would not listen to their customers at all. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM NEWEGG. RUN AWAY!

Wow. I will simply never use newegg ever again. I placed an order for about $13k in products, some orders got cancelled because of qty limits even though not on sale, orders were split into random orders, and they decided to send whatever they felt n
Like not canceling! Unbelievable, called the customer service and they could careless!

I would not recommend them nor ever use them again. Amazon was cheaper but I figured I pay littlenit more but get it all at one place, i cancelled all my orders and will be going through amazon now.

Some of the worst customer service I have ever seen and I always thought they were suppose to be so great looks like they have changed they have more negative than positive reviews mounting up over the last few years. I will never shop with them again there are too many other good places with great prices & service no need to suffer what newegg will put you through.

I used to be a loyal customer with Newegg, cause they had great customer service. BUT NOW A DAY EVERYTHING CHANGED! I just order a hard drive from them, and when i got the item, it was defective! Then i do the RMA with them, and they said i did some scratch on the label!? I really shock! I used to do computer maintenance with my customer, i know how to treat my hard drive in the right way, while it in my hand there is no drop no hit with anything! Now they said i scratch the label and void the warranty!? NICE MOVE Newegg.com! REALLY NICE! I want to tell everyone watch out for their RMA, if you got your purchase just wish you won't get the defective one! Or you will get a hell of the way to return the item, by the way, you need to pay for the shipping even they send you the defective item, and it's not cheap, my hard drive cost me $15 if i use their UPS shipping.

While many of my geek friends like this site for their prices, and yes, the prices are good... forget about customer service. I bought a coffee maker at a great price. It arrived safely. Since it was brand new and was a gift, I set it up as a surprise and ditched the box but kept the upc for a rebate. Bad idea. The coffee make was defective and didn't even work. So I called customer service about getting a refund or credit, whatever. I knew the return policy required the original box and I owned up to that. I at least expected something. I was told no that without the original box they wouldn't take it back. So I escalated to a supervisor and got the same answer, even told it was my problem. I emailed my discontent and was ignored. I tweeted my discontent and was ignored. So I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and they took my coffee maker back with no receipt, knowing I purchased it elsewhere. Turns out the unit was discontinued and had been pulled from all BB & B shelves and wasn't even on the manufacturer website... hmmm? I get it now. BB & B found me a better unit, gave me a hefty discount to offset the price differential and I ended up paying less for a more expensive unit and ended up with $80 in store credit ta boot! Too bad... so sad Newegg! When I tweeted what BB & B did, Newegg decided to respond - with an HOUR tweeting back that they'd be glad to look in to the problem if I'd forward the original email to so and so. So I did and they still ignored me. Twice they ignored me. So I tweeted that. And they still ignored me. Guess Newegg doesn't want my business. Oh hey! They won't be getting it! Boo Newegg. You smell rotten

I can't restore my previous review. I docked one star, because I am seeing strange suspicious behavior on reviews, and may have evidence they are selling products which are not officially sanctioned and so do not have warranties.
I'm currently investigating if it's a problem on Newegg's end.

Will update.

For now, I'd recommend not trusting their reviews.

Do not buy this laptop or any other laptop from newegg. I recently purchased this laptop from Newegg, and received it a couple of days later. The problem is this laptop burnt out on the first game i played on it. It deleted partitions and completely screwed up computer. I tried to just purchase a new windows 8 because i didnt want to go thru the problems of returning it and having to wait a long time.
Long story short the computer was completely defective and NEWEGG refuses to refund me and now i am stuck with this piece of junk that i have to file a dispute with my credit card company to get back. (I have been a newegg customer for years and never had have a problem) But this has turned me away from purchasing ANYTHING from newegg and i would highly suggest going to a different provider

Bought a software in Dec 12, came scratched and I was unable to installed. Followed their RMA and shipped the software back for a full refund as I picked another one locally. They refused to refund me and refused to send a replacement stating the product was out of warranty! I had the software for 2 days! This is bad service, they dont stand by their merchandise and I feel that they stole my money. I will never buy from them again. To top it off, they closed my account because I filed a dispute with my credit card, total intimidation of their customers.
