I have been a Newegg customer for over 7 years now. Even though their prices did somewhat go up, they still offer very good deals on pretty much anything, you just have to catch those deals at the right time.
Their 'Premier' feature has a trial, it's similar to Amazon's Prime and offers some nice benefits. And their customer service has been very helpful; had some shipping issues (returned package) and they offered to re-send my items with discounted 3day shipping.
Newegg has False and misleading shipping and in Stock status statements on their product pages.
I found an in stock Seagate SSD-HD i ordered per over night next day delivery as well as a smaller item i didn't push a rush on.
My 21$ charge for the overnight seems to actually mean after they take 1-2 bussiness days to package it and only after this its an overnight.
So i now have to wait 3-4 days, i still pay the next day delivery option, and in the meantime, the second item, that was not put on a rush actually arrived the next day!
Customer service didn't even offer to wave the 21 $ next day delivery charge, and i still didn't receive the HD yet... after 3 days now.
I never will buy there again...
I bought my $1,400 gaming laptop from Newegg, and though I thought it would be sketchy to buy something this expensive from a site that is not bestbuy or the laptop company itself, it was delivered and packaged in amazing condition. It included everything, and I was very happy. The pricing on this site is great as well, and it included a nice insurance plan for my laptop. Thanks Newegg!

Your customer service is HORRIBLE. Ordered software for my home and then using my business account ordered software for my business. Had my business ordered cancelled because of the quantity limit, even though it was for my business (completely different address). I called your customer service and apparently because I worked hard to own my own business and its under my name it groups the accounts together. BUT if I would have waited 48 hrs I could have ordered it from my business account, even though on the promo page it says one promo per registered account (nothing about one per person, address, business, phone, email, sex, birthday, height, eye color...(the last couple aren't true, but it does seem that way)). This is the most absurd thing I have ever heard.
Then there is the fact that you wouldn't honor the promotion price now (even though you have this promotion almost every other week). The only thing I was offered was half of the promotion value, a joke considering you have this same promotion all the time for the same promotion price.
What is even more frustrating, the order has been completely erased in your system, luckily Google kept track of it for me.
What put me over the top was the fact that I had an agent tell me I was lying to her about a promotion that YOU sent me by email. 40 minutes later and extremely frustrated and nothing (You can't even show me where it said one per customer, address, business, ect.) for that promo.
You lost a customer who always talked Newegg up and sent you numerous referrals. Newegg used to be great, but after this experience you have gone way down hill. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Your deals surpass in store prices by more than 15% and even sometimes as high as 30% ( yes, I calculate price percentages). I buy all of my DIY parts from your company and I'll gladly keep doing business with you whenever I need an upgrade or if I'm building another computer.
This is a great site for buying computer parts. They have the hard to find parts needed for replacements in older computers. An example: I have an old Pentium 4 system from 2001 using RDRAM, a dead format. I use it for a Home Theater PC nowadays. Then the RAM goes kablooey! Newegg not only had the RAM chip for this defunct technology, but had it in stock! Great job, Newegg!
Too many options and it is too difficult to figure out which is the best deal.
I use this site all the time whenever I buy computer parts. I very rarely have any issues with my orders, but when I do they are quick to fix it. Its a really good site for PC building. I highly recommend it.
Ordered 2 items under a bundled special. I received one of the items and was informed that the other item was returned by the shipper under an RMA. I can only assume that it was damaged by the shipper. Since these items work together, I returned the one item I received. I was charged a $21 restocking fee which Newegg reimbursed.

This is my second purchase something at newegg.com. I am very satisfied
I ordered several video games during a $12 off preorder video games sale. One of the games was not yet released so it was to be shipped on or after the ship date. Well when the game was released Newegg claimed to not be able to get any stock of the game and simply cancelled my order without any notification. The very next day the game was in stock so I called customer service to ask that my order be shipped. I was told that my order had been cancelled so if I still wanted the game I would have to reorder it and would not receive the $12 preorder discount. This doesn't seem like very good customer service to me. I never asked that my preorder be cancelled and then they tell me to reorder at full price. What a joke. I still give them 3 stars though because this is the only time I have ever had an issue with them, after many purchases over the years.

Not the same service as it used to be. Ordered a $500 component, there was some need to verify the order. Called, got transferred to a voicemail. Called again, asked for callback, waited... waited... never happened. Cancelled order, went to Amazon.
I remember doing the same thing years ago, had them call me instantly and had the order next day. I miss that company.

Answer: The reason why i gave a bad review was because i ordered a phone for my wife, An I-phone 5 and NewEgg.com only sent a box with the manual and a charger for the phone. I called NewEgg.com and explained to them and they stated i needed to wait while they investigate, they never got back to me so i called them again. The person i talked to put me on hold then came back to me and stated she was checking this what was going on and kept putting me on hold for a total of 45 minutes to only come back and tell me that i need to send them a picture of the box and contents. I have no clue what my wife or children did with the box now i am screwed. 219.00 down the drain. This was the first and last purchase i will make until the get this straight.
