This is only the 2nd time I have written a derogatory review about any company. Our company has been trying for over a week to purchase a computer. Initially, they cancelled the order without contacting us. When we called to find out why our computer had not arrived in the allotted time frame, we were told the order had been cancelled. Apparently, they have some sort of matching process for credit card purchases which we verified is correct. We have never had difficulty on any other site making a purchase. I have just contacted their customer service again and to no avail. Since we have already spent 2 hours trying to make the purchase, I think we will cut our losses and find a store interested in making a sale.
I needed a suitcase, quickly. They had one I liked (I thought) at a great price so I ordered it. Having been a long time Amazon customer I guess my expectations for delivery and customer service have been spoiled, but when I paid $20 extra for 2 day delivery, I thought that meant I would be receiving the suitcase 2 days from when I ordered it. Three at the most.
A couple of hours after ordering I received an email telling me that my order would begin to be processed in 2-3 days and then the 2 day delivery would start after that.? $20 extra for a 5 day turn around.?
I immediately cancelled the order. That was a joke in itself because everything I do, I do on my phone. Trying to maneuver their site with a phone is beyond frustration. I finally called them and like the other people have stated, I was on hold for ever. They finally called me back. I told them what I needed and they said sorry it's too late, they can't stop the process. Now understand this is less than 6 hrs. After placing my order. At that point, my payment was still in pending status. It stayed that way for another 2 days. They shipped that damn suitcase out and I followed all the correct procedures to return it. The order was placed at 5:30pm Sunday, shipped on tuesday, received on thursday, returned on Friday at 5:30 pm. I forgot to mention that someone email me saying the had placed UPS return labels in the USPS so I could return their product. I had to go a little crazy on that too and tell them they could email them to me and I would print it out!
I don't want to write out the blow by blow of all its taken to get to this point, but I still haven't gotten my money back.
I have written them at least 16 emails. I started off nice and polite but I don't bother with manners any more because it doesn't seem to make a difference. And phone calls a a complete waste of time.
I received 2 more emails today telling me the refund will take 3-5 working days. I can only assume they hold on to people's money and use it to invest in some way that generates them money.
I will never ever, ever, ever order from them again. I highly suggest you don't either. Oh, and that suitcase, didn't look a thing like the picture. BUYER BEWARE!

If there is any chance at all that you will need to return a product (likely with computer components), then you should avoid NewEgg. Expect a difficult experience, only automated messages, and rejected returns for technicalities. Best to avoid them.

14 emails and a half hour phone conversation and I still don't have a refund for the product they sent me broken 5 months ago. Blamed fulfilling partner company who claims they issued Newegg a credit 5 months ago and they just haven't passed it on. The tennis match continues as I watch each company lobby the "buck" back and forth. Not worth it.

Refurbished cell phonesand other electronics for sky highprices. Has return policies, still having used up items that won't last for almost 3/4 of original price is not worth it.

First time customer, they not only billed my credit card but apparently billed the friend who I was sending the little present to card also! WHAT A HASSLE for both of us! Through the years, I have purchased many, many, items from Newegg and found their products and Customer service is the best of ANY online marketer. Never any hassle with any purchase and if a problem arises, they handle it immediately and effectively with the Customer satisfaction in mind. Great company.
Horrible, Horrible, Horrible... I have been trying to get a refund for a returned item of $206 for over a month. You have to wait up to an hour on hold every time you call to speak to someone who will ask you the same stupid questions of which you have answered 10 times already. I spoke to a manager name Carla who assured me she was going to take care of the problem and send me her direct contact information. Nether one happened. The fact is that the should take down the sign that says Newegg and put one up that says Ringling Brothers because what they are running is a circus.

I had a flawless experience with newegg. Found a great deal on a computer, ordered it, everything was easy. Had a small issue with the shipping adress, and the A+ customer service fixed it right away. Product arrived early, with pro packaging and everything was in great condition, no damage at all.

I must say I am very disappointed with Newegg being the first time I will buy a sample laptop from you. I buy and resell hundreds of laptop for resale in Africa from Ebay, Amazon and other websites. This is the first time I bought a laptop from Newegg through Ebay Item ID ************** and Return ID *******681
I bought a certified refurbished Asus laptop last two weeks and I just got it from my freight company last week and to my greatest surprise, everything was wrong. The laptop is faulty and does not power on. Newegg sold me a damaged and defective laptop the laptop only displays a black screen and will never display anything. Besides, there was no receipt for this laptop.
I am taking this case up with Newegg and getting my lawyers to write and sue for damages if I do not get full refund of $470 within the next 24 hours. In the event that I file a law suit, the damages will run into several thousands of dollars for revenue losses.

My family is in the process of getting new computers for everyone. We ordered mine first. $1416. 00. Placed the order Dec 3rd. Got a confirmation email stating when delivery would be. Checked the bank and sure enough the 1416. 00 was in pending. Come Monday at 2 pm in the afternoon I receive an email stating a verification issue caused by my bank canceled the order. I found that very odd so I called my bank. They checked everything including the fraud department. They could see Newegg with a charge for 1416. 00 and everything was fine. I called newegg which it stated I would be in line for over an hour and provide phone number to get a call back. 2 hours later they called and asked what was wrong. I explained I got a cancellation. They first claimed I incorrectly typed my mailing and billing address. I was logged into my newegg account looking right at them listed correctly, then I checked confirmation email... yep all correct there. Then she states she will escalate it and I should have an answer on why it was canceled in 2 to 3 days. I said "So you took an order, confirmed it, took money out of an account and I need to wait 3 days while you hold my 1406. 00?" She stated yep that's how it works. I told her bull$#*! put her boss on the phone. The supervisor Angelina again first blamed me for addresses, corrected her, then talked verification. I asked to talk to that department so I could get a reason for their screwup. She responded " They don't talk to people, that's what I get paid for" I explained that's nice now release the hold on my money to go back in the bank. First tried to talk down about how I don't understand banking, (I am an area manager in retail) when I explained I do she finally decided to give me the numbers the bank needed to expedite clearing the charges and getting money back into my account which was done 10 minutes after I hung up the phone. Then I get an email 20 minutes later saying the verification issue was resolved and I could go online and place my order again. Um no I think one time experiencing how you treat customers is good enough for me.

Newegg has the best prices most of the time, items are also of good quality but one must read the buyer's reviews, not just the number of stars. I really appreciate having the opportunity to read reviews that have not been edited or completely removed by the seller, at least you can decide to buy, or not, really knowing what you are getting into.
This website has all electronic needs and wants it has an excellent layout and customer service is swift and helpfull and shipping Is usually quick(the only exception is Christmas shopping but that should be expected)I'm building a computer right now and they have low prices on quality merchandise. Also bone have had anything as small as a ding on them personally I recommend this site very highly.

Answer: The reason why i gave a bad review was because i ordered a phone for my wife, An I-phone 5 and NewEgg.com only sent a box with the manual and a charger for the phone. I called NewEgg.com and explained to them and they stated i needed to wait while they investigate, they never got back to me so i called them again. The person i talked to put me on hold then came back to me and stated she was checking this what was going on and kept putting me on hold for a total of 45 minutes to only come back and tell me that i need to send them a picture of the box and contents. I have no clue what my wife or children did with the box now i am screwed. 219.00 down the drain. This was the first and last purchase i will make until the get this straight.
