Over Priced

I recently purchased a pair of indoor/outdoor shoes after they advertised a "large price reduction." They claim they are normally around $70.00 and the price was reduced by 46% I ordered the shoes on November 21 and they arrived about two and a half weeks later, which isn't bad for shipment from Hong Kong - I didn't realize the company was Chinese until after I placed the order. The shoes are okay but they're no way worth even the $39.90 or whatever it was I paid for them. They are leather, but it's very thin, nothing close to what I expected. So, bear in mind when you order from them that what you get is not what you expect.

RIpoff at best

Do not deal with this company as they ship poor quality products and when you try to return them they charge you for their mistakes. They don't ship what you order, instead ship something different and then make deal to keep something you never wanted in the first place. Strange way of making money by screwing good people out of theirs. We are reviewing with credit card company. Check the reviews, wow a lot of bad ones. I should have read them first.

Poor quality

I bought ankle boots with flower on side. It was listed as genuine leather. When the boots came, they stank like heavy dry cleaner solution. I don't know if they are genuine leather, but I cannot walk around with that heavy odor. Also, knee boots listed as suede, are not suede. They are microfiber, very cheap. I will donate both boots to goodwill. Lesson learned. I will not buy from this site.

Poor quality

10 point for site developers and pictures. 0 points for real shipped items. We tried to buy from this site two times, both times the same problem, very poor quality. First one was woman dress. Second time i ordered leather crossbag. Here is the link:

Scam of sorts

Great business model. Advertise a pretty product for a good price, take money, hold for a few weeks, send an email saying the product is on back order and offer a 10% discount to wait an extra two weeks, send an email saying the product is no longer available, refund the money. Continue advertising the same product. Rinse, repeat..

I send my items ( 2 dresses back) on 12/12/18.
Send a company pictures of the tracking info.
Two months later still waiting for a refund. After reaching out to them regarding the refund, they answer is: dresses were delivered.
My money is lost for the dresses plus the coast of shipping.

I purchased a coat and when I received it, it was too small. I had a good experience with their customer support who helped me with the exchange process. The only reason I did not award 5 stars, was because return fees were not included with the product like for some other online stores.

False advertising

Order a product and it came the wrong size. I know my size but their garments do not fit that way. The claim this if I want a return I have to pay to ship and they will not refund the cost of shipping to me. I loose twice for their mistake. Stay away unless you like to loose money.

1) This company has a nice presentation of its products in its web site.
2) The shoes look great in the web site, but are horrible when I got them. There are bunch of plastic shoes that are not wearable. Similar shoes are available on the streets in China for $10 or less.
3) Shipping cost is fairly high and products are mailed from China.

Like all first time customer of an online website from Asian country I was a little apprehensive and unsure. I ordered 8 cushion covers and several small products. The order were split into 2 by NewChic, the first batch arrived without any trouble within 2 weeks (& yes, the cushion covers were great looking & value for money!), but the second batch (which were just some small brushes) did not arrive. Took me awhile to get the live chat online (perhaps due to time-zone difference?), but once I was able to get through to chat to a customer service officer (it took awhile to connect from NZ), the service was just great. Not only could I print off the chat transcript I even received an email from the customer service directly, showing me the exact delivery tracking info every step of the way. The order was apparently sent off from the co. More than 2 weeks ago. Well, knowing NZ's postal standard (& even my experience of NZ's courier service which was crap) I waited patiently for another week. The lo and behold, the 2nd package arrived! Happy customer, despite the delay in delivery. I will certainly shop again. Products are at very competitive prices, and even with delivery charges thrown in, they are still value for money compared to the daylight robbery of the stores here in NZ.

Avoid this company!

The first time I ordered from NewChic, the product didn't fit, so I returned it. The company NEVER gave my money back.
Then, I was stupid enough to try again. I ordered October 5, and after many emails asking where my order was, I received it on December 4.
After the company said they sent my order and I could track it, I tried several times to track it, but the tracking they put on the order didn't work. When I asked them if they would track it, they replied that I could just do it. Well, I couldn't.
I will never order from NewChic again.
