Your member is a model for how customer service should be provided. He would make a great mentor for others in your industry and your company. He was patient with me, very knowledgeable, and able to explain and articulate clearly what he was doing and how long it would take. He was able to access the history of my purchase of the link and what DNS it was directed to, and to restore it. So I just want to share how pleased I am with his service.

Called with a problem that I called about the other day that had not been fixed. Today I spoke with an service rep named Jan Clarence who was absolutely phenominal. The phone connection was so clear that I could not tell I called overseas. Clarence's english was perfect and almost accent free. He did not give me the usual regurguration of what I told him to make sure he understood. He understood my problem, was extremely polite - especially when he had to put me on hold. He gave me the solution that I must send to Wiks to implement. I'm not sure whether the solution will work but he certainly instilled confidence in me.

Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.
Answer: I had to ring my credit card company and get them to stop the payment
Answer: I was working with a consultant from the Small Business Development Center when I began my business. She advised me to register my LLC and then to go to Register.com to buy the domain name before anyone else could. Later on, she suggested Register when I was looking for hosting.
