NetworkSolutions Reviews Summary

The company's reputation is marked by a stark divide in customer experiences. On one hand, some clients commend the quality of specific services, particularly in web design and SEO assistance, highlighting instances of exceptional customer support. However, a significant number of reviews reveal persistent issues, including slow response times, inadequate technical support, and billing disputes, which contribute to a growing sense of frustration among long-term users. Overall, while there are positive interactions, the prevailing sentiment underscores a troubling decline in service quality and reliability, prompting many customers to seek alternatives.

After mydomain.com was bought by web.com, the ability to manage email forwarding is missing. This was the only reason I had used mydomain.com.

Your email verificafions can take up to 20 minutes to arrive. With a 10 minute timeout this is frustrating.

First thing you try to upsell me on privacy. Namecheap includes privacy for free and does not "attack" me the moment I log on.

Not happy about Domain.com
From a first class service it went down to your typical Indian-callcenter-practices with zero regard for the business of the customer.

The new set up is not understandable. What I could do before has been replaced by paying items: creating email addresses while I already have a hosting plan! Therefore, I am searching for a new host to migrate before renewing your services!

No customer service phone number. But it gets worse. I wish I could leave a zero star review.
My experience:
I attempted to manually renew 6 of my 8 services. It was unsuccessful, so I hopped on the live chat to override and make sure my services were paid for. The representative renewed one of my six services that I was hoping to renew. It was a start lol. Then, at 4 in the morning while I was asleep, one of the 2 unwanted services was charged to my card. Contacted chat, and they refused a refund and refused to let me speak to a supervisor. Attempted to cut my losses and transfer domain hosting to GoDaddy, but the unwanted charge prevented domain transfer. My domain was being held for ransom and could not be transferred. Horrible. I was forced to pay another $192 just to maintain my email and website services for the year. I disputed the original fraudulent 4 am charge, and when that finished (successfully) processing, domain.com warned me of an account payment imbalance and then 9 hours later suspended my account for deletion with no indication of refund for the services I had recently purchased. I hope I get my $192 back so that I never ever have to deal with domain.com ever again. Terrible experience.

Since web.com took over for dotster.com it has been a nightmare to register and renew domains from having to pick from a list of domains with the same credit card to select a payment method to the never ending offers. Planning on taking my business elsewhere is things done improvee.

Horrible experience thus far. Support cannot resolve issues related to supported domains when needed. Every support has been escalated and takes over 72 hours to resolve.

We do not like the fact that there is no one that we can talk to. Chatting is not what we signed up for and originally, you all provide live contact. We are discouraging people from using domain.com for web hosting as a result. Also, we do not like the fact that when we are on auto renewal you renew well before expiration and when we renew manually, we get these anoying emails threatening that we are going to loose our domain name.
