The company's reputation is marked by a stark divide in customer experiences. On one hand, some clients commend the quality of specific services, particularly in web design and SEO assistance, highlighting instances of exceptional customer support. However, a significant number of reviews reveal persistent issues, including slow response times, inadequate technical support, and billing disputes, which contribute to a growing sense of frustration among long-term users. Overall, while there are positive interactions, the prevailing sentiment underscores a troubling decline in service quality and reliability, prompting many customers to seek alternatives.

I keep getting different answers for the same questions about my website package, AND getting my domain changed was a nightmare. I first was told it would be about $10, then I was charged 23 something and now I am getting charged an additional 2.50 a month when I was told initially the two charges would include a year for the domain switch.
Easy to navigate for beginners. I was able to grow my audience in only a little time.
I cant get to the correct department to save my life... MOD'*******
You website is too aggressive in pushing optional services. Also, I keep getting a nag notification (reminder) that one of my domains is about to expire, but it has already been renewed.
Customer service would not give me an identifier to transfer my google workspace account until after my subscription date passed and my account was suspended. And now that its suspended I can't use the identifier until my subscription is renewed. Well I've paid it again and now i'll transfer to google. Nice extortion methods WEB.com
It was not clear where I would go to make DNS changes. But I finally found it. And then the list of the DNS records was confusing since the list was not complete. It took me a while to figure out that there is a "see more" link at the bottom of the list. That could be more clear. Or just list all of the DNS records since that is what we would be used to seeing anyway.
I get the run around. And my site still does not work. They offered free ssl. It still is not there. I have called 8 times and still nothing is working. And now my site will not load correctly.
It takes so long to log on and multiple times now i didnt get a verfication code. You keep sending worrying emails regarding having to renew my product. What's a product? They are domains, so it is confusing and complicated. Have to do things on my phone whilst travelling. You made it difficult. It was much simpler with MyDomain.
Domain.com was recommended to me by a relative and I am glad I took their advice. It has been a great journey with domain.com and I will not hesitate recommending it to a future client.
Zero app for email, zero direct way to access email; not user friendly

The migration from mydomain has created NINE accounts for me in payment settings, with a place to enter credit cards for each one. This user interface is terrible.
Web.com continues to charges for domains which have been transferred to a different registars for several months.
Disappointed email forwarding is being discontinued. Paid for additional email service with web.com. The additional email service is not functioning. I'm paying extra for something that doesn't work. Another reason for 1 star.
Love web.com, very easy to use. Customer service has been great.
Dotster user you totall f'ed up. When you took my account from dotster you migrated the password hash without checking if the password policies match. So, my password was 10 words long but you only allow 16 chars. That caused my account to get locked at least a few times before I figured out the problem. Honestly I'm not even sure your tech team knows about this issue, even today. Congrats, your tech stack and QA team might as well not exist.
Then after getting my account fixed, on my own, you still locked it. And even though I had payment information when my domains went to aut-renew you didnt renew them.
What a lousy company
Mirror the old Doster login, or allow a pass through for those of us that have been part of the Dotster site for decades
Need to support 2fa apps, login process is crap, had to use an incognito window to login after working with a support rep. Support rep supposedly disabled 2fa but that still sent via email when using the incognito window
Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.
Answer: I had to ring my credit card company and get them to stop the payment
Answer: I was working with a consultant from the Small Business Development Center when I began my business. She advised me to register my LLC and then to go to Register.com to buy the domain name before anyone else could. Later on, she suggested Register when I was looking for hosting.
Answer: Hey there Mira - if you call into our customer support lines at 1-866-655-7679 we'd be happy to help!^MB
