I have no control over the things I can do on my website. Yes, it makes it easy to pick the layout I want, but not being able to edit things and move them around or have any customization whatsoever is not good. Rachel was knowledgable, polite, and helpful. I had bad info given to me yesterday by a Web.com rep who was rude. I have a legacy website as I've been with Web.com for over 10 years. She answered my questions about my site and helped me download my invoice so I could get my Acct Number. She confirmed my email address and my only choice for login ID. She explained that hosting is with Monster Commerce Team which is part of Web.com now. She explained Web.com is trying to move Legacy Websites to be compatible with a regular hosting site maybe 2 to 3 years. Reminded me to back up my site and pictures just in case. She added the SSL Certificate for $27/yr. To help make my website secure as I can't pull it up on my mobile phone as getting Error 404 Forbidden. She said I should get an email with link to click to activate the SSL withing 24 hours. She more than made up for the terrible service I got yesterday from Lee in tech support..

I called in after I received a threatening email because my credit card was not processed for the monthly payment. I check my account and could see the accurate default card was reflected. There are two other cards reflected as well, but neither is good anymore. The system wont allow me to remove them and the agent could not do so either. The agent processed the payment on the proper card and all went through. They could not explain why their system failed to do this properly and automatically as usual. I asked several times and he could never seem to understand my concerns.

Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.
Answer: I had to ring my credit card company and get them to stop the payment
Answer: I was working with a consultant from the Small Business Development Center when I began my business. She advised me to register my LLC and then to go to Register.com to buy the domain name before anyone else could. Later on, she suggested Register when I was looking for hosting.
