OK domain registrar, but beware scammy annual charges for services that you aren't using. They automatically charge you for Privacy protection every year, even if you don't have it enabled on your accounts. The only way to undo the charges is to go through a lengthy tech support chat.
They've also gradually removed some of the services (email forwarding) that were originally part of my plans.
Easy process to search and buy a domain name, with a good offer to build a website, a professional team always ready to keep me updated with the progress.

Generally the website and payment process is fine, the management panel is a bit slow. However, it seems as if they are intentionally making it difficult to transfer to a new hosting provider.
1- They don't give you any insight as to what "domain lock" is, you need to rely on extraneous sources and to look through several websites before it tells you what it means.
2- The "domain lock" checkbox is hidden below the contact information form.
3- The email with confirmation code can take "up to an hour" to be received

I ordered the logo builder, but cannot figure out how to create one, my card was charged and the icon disappeared?
The website builder is too restrictive. All I want is to put one image with no links or other pages for my website - it won't let me do this. This is infuriating. I can't believe I paid for this.

The customer service rep charged me for web hosting when I told him we do not have a website and don't need the service. I have been denied a refund. As a "legacy" account a I frequently have issues when your system is updated/upgraded and my email does not work for days.

Have been using Domain.com for years, and very happy to keep using it.
Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.

Answer: I was working with a consultant from the Small Business Development Center when I began my business. She advised me to register my LLC and then to go to Register.com to buy the domain name before anyone else could. Later on, she suggested Register when I was looking for hosting.
