I enjoy building my website and I think the customer service is great.
I have had web.com for a while now. I have never been able to get a SSL. Web.com convinced me to purchase one through them, which I did. However, after a week of working with them they could not get it activated. I was furious and cancelled my subscription. They will not refund my SSL even though I was never able to use it.
I still haven't found adequate help in activating my professional email, It has been over a week. So I give my essentially involuntary $12 donation a 1 star.

I should be able to resize pictures used on pages. The fact that you can't resize but have to edit and all there is a crop function is a really big hinderance to creativity and productivity.
AM A CUSTOMER FOR OVER 20 YRS. COMPANY IS NOW HORRENDOUS. BILLING ME FOR WEBSITE THAT DOESNT WORK. TECH GUYS SENDING EMAILS THAT ARE INCORRECT. MANAGERS HIDING AND WONT ACCESS OR HELP. HORRENDOUS ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS.
New customer, I placed an order on the 4.22 and Domain said there was a security hold for 24hrs while they validate my credit card info. I checked in yesterday 4.23 and you said it was going to take ANOTHER 24 hours (so I personally missed some work deadlines associated with these names) TODAY I checked in with support again and the purchase went through HOWEVER it went through without the 15% discount code and I was told by Domain support that it couldn't be applied because it expired! That wasn't my fault. Customer support then lied to me multiple times trying to say it was my fault, which it wasn't, and when I kept insisting they just left the chat. This is TERRIBLE business.

Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.

Answer: I was working with a consultant from the Small Business Development Center when I began my business. She advised me to register my LLC and then to go to Register.com to buy the domain name before anyone else could. Later on, she suggested Register when I was looking for hosting.
