Wow, forced to write an explanation for giving 2 stars. I was trying to log in to do business, and was interrupted by an unwanted survey. I was billed twice this month, but Domain never sent invoices or notices. So one star. Namecheap is far worse, which is the only reason I haven't moved my account. So thx for forcing a written review in order to leave feedback. I hope that others see it and go to GoDaddy.

I find the layouts difficult to manipulate to do what I need. And I am kind of frustrated that I have to pay extra for a security certificate. I think that should be included in all of your sites. It would set you apart from literally all of your competition and help out ALL of us small business owners. Or make it $5.00 instead of $15.

Poor communication on website update to WordPress. I had my site initially created 7 years ago with web.com and wanted to refresh the site on WordPress. I bought a package and paid more than what I had. My site was due to expire 7/23 and I was told you would not take down my old site and there would be no disruption to my website or emails currently. Just the contrary as my website was shut down the day after the call and all emails were in accessible and significant business and information was lost putting our patients and business at risk. We have spent countless hours on the phone and putting in tickets as you have shut down my old site and emails 3 times since starting the upgrade process. I should have stuck with my old site or gone to another company as your business has changed significantly.
Website was converted from old platform to new web.com platform. Merchant acct was not set up at the time. Set up an acct today, but cannot place orders yet? Also, do not know how to upload documents (e.g. PDF files).

They have robbed our business of money, they have inexperienced people. Due to their inexperience and internal errors, I am not getting refunded. It was all issues since I first purchased their service, they did not provide what they offered so I canceled within 2 days and they promised a full refund. 3 weeks later I called again and they apologized, gave me a ticket number, and said I would get my money within 10 days. I am calling for almost 2 months now because I haven't received my money and they are telling me that because they canceled my service before they processed my refund my money is lost and they can't do anything about it. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!
When buying the domain you need to add the domain privacy fee too, but you guys ticked it, customers think that it is added to the total, but after buying it you guys say it was not added, pay $ 8+

Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.

Answer: I was working with a consultant from the Small Business Development Center when I began my business. She advised me to register my LLC and then to go to Register.com to buy the domain name before anyone else could. Later on, she suggested Register when I was looking for hosting.
