The company's reputation is marked by a stark divide in customer experiences. On one hand, some clients commend the quality of specific services, particularly in web design and SEO assistance, highlighting instances of exceptional customer support. However, a significant number of reviews reveal persistent issues, including slow response times, inadequate technical support, and billing disputes, which contribute to a growing sense of frustration among long-term users. Overall, while there are positive interactions, the prevailing sentiment underscores a troubling decline in service quality and reliability, prompting many customers to seek alternatives.

I cannot stand my website. I thought I found a girl that could help me with it and organize it and yesterday she rescheduled and today she never called me. I'm thinking I just need my money back and I need to go elsewhere. This is been going on since May. I'm not sure where the disconnect is but everybody you send me is flaky AF
Very bad experience every time on site. Can never login and then have to reset password and then once on, there is little to no information on building a bebsite, no descriptions or instuctions. I get nowhere! Deciding if I need to go to another website to build my business website.
domain.com is an absolute disaster! Their services are a complete joke. Their website is outdated, confusing, and frustrating to navigate. It's like they're stuck in the Stone Age!
Their customer support? Oh boy, don't even get me started! They never respond in a timely manner, and when they do, it's just a bunch of automated, useless responses. It's like talking to a brick wall!
And let's not forget about their pricing. It's ridiculously high for the subpar quality they provide. They're clearly just trying to squeeze every penny out of unsuspecting customers. Greedy much?
web.com wanted to charge me $2800 to fill out a template and not following my instructions. I could have done what they did in less than an hour. web.com DOES NOT offer professional services. Buyer beware.
Web.com advertises their customer service will walk you through to get you started. First of all it's damn near impossible to get a real person to talk with. Reps talk to you on their their technical level like you know what they're taking about. If you don't use their service Web.com does not issue a full refund.
If i want to spend money there is no problem with the site. If i want to manage existing accounts there is no quick way to find the information.
Never received my refund and my account was compromised due to web.com fraud
The building cite thing is so hard to navigate, waste of money
Great customer service, All agents have been patient, helpful and I love how they designed our website.

It's good but if anybody email it's take long time
The site store is severely lacking in any type of product search and presentation options. There is no search available. There is no way to separate products. The only way to get around the separate products is too utilize the unlimited pages and make it yourself. There still is no search, bit at least after many hours of manually making pages that have product categories separated, I have something useful and clear to the customer. How ever came up with the e-commerce side of the site must have been only trying to sell a single color of a mug or something very basic. We are trying to sell parts to dozens of manufacturers and dozens of items with separate parts numbers for each. If I would have known that in the beginning, we would have chosen a different company to work with. If you choose to have them start the site, check all wording, it's pretty evident that at least the person(s) doing ours, English was not their first language.
Overall, we are too deep now to switch anytime soon. Buyer beware.
Just horrible site looks outdated. Zero help. Shopify is better. Hands down.
Before entering into this contract I explained that my client base was graphic designers and marketing agencies, therefore a better than "standard" level of design was needed. Contract was signed, payment was made, and I then provided the copy, images and an example of the site I wanted. The initial proof sent was so different from what I had requested, fonts didn't match, it did not follow the example at all - simply put, it was awful. I was then told you couldn't handle the type of site I wanted, even if I paid extra. I now am paying you monthly for a site that isn't live. I would never recommend your design services to anyone.
You promised a free ssl certificate and then tried to make me pay for it. Shameful.
I'm confused as to the next steps. It briefly states it takes 24 hours to set up, but there is no overall explanation of the process. I'd like the system to update me on progress of setup.
Design team made me a website design that I did not like or even close to what I wanted. I deleted it and now I have to make my own. I'm finding it to be a difficult process.
Great tutorial to assist me in my business journey
They just lie to you to sign up and then they tell you they cant help you. It's a big scam and waste of time.
I've been on your chat help for over 30 minutes. I don't think you have anyone actually working because no one is responding.
I just killed the email account I had with Register.com. I don't even want a refund; I just want OUT! For years I suffered with techs who speak poor English and rarely fix any problems. They tried to get me to pay them $99 to fix a problem THEY caused, because they switched servers (or something like that). NOT MY FAULT. Avoid companies that use off-shore workers.
Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.
Answer: I had to ring my credit card company and get them to stop the payment
Answer: I was working with a consultant from the Small Business Development Center when I began my business. She advised me to register my LLC and then to go to Register.com to buy the domain name before anyone else could. Later on, she suggested Register when I was looking for hosting.
Answer: Hey there Mira - if you call into our customer support lines at 1-866-655-7679 we'd be happy to help!^MB
