The initial experience with Web.com was decent. I recently needed to make some small changes to my web site. The platform for making the changes, " Website building" was not working when I went to make the changes. The front-end support staff at Web.com could not make the changes either. The standard response was it would be resolved in 24-48 hours. I am 8 days into this issue and call every day (Web.com does not call or reach out to me). Every time I call support staff can not help and say "engineering" is working on it, but do not have any info on when it may be resolved. Based on this experience, I would not recommend to anyone running a business and needing an internet presence.

Horrible customer service! You will wait and wait for someone to chat with. Then they can't help you- No refunds for wrongfully charged amounts. No customer service number to call- Don't do business with them never!
Try to get site up and running for business purposes and don't know how to create the site correctly
Super frustrating that I cannot get ONE login for ALL my domains. I have bought a bunch of domains and they are all separate user names. I have to dig through emails to try and find them all. It would be nice if it was all tied to my emai.
The notifications of expiring domains are good, but it is not then obvious as how to cancel (rather than renew) domain names. That seems to follow other sites that intentionally make it difficult to opt out of subscriptions. Not a consumer friendly approach
One of my domain just disappeared from the panel! And the chat is not helping at all, they treating me like I'm creazy "just wait 24 to 48 hours to DNS to propagate..." I'm telling them, it's not that, it's something else! The domain just fricking disappeared from the list of my domains!

Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.

Answer: I was working with a consultant from the Small Business Development Center when I began my business. She advised me to register my LLC and then to go to Register.com to buy the domain name before anyone else could. Later on, she suggested Register when I was looking for hosting.
