The company has a mixed reputation, with some customers appreciating its extensive library of content and user-friendly interface, which enhances the viewing experience. Many users express frustration over billing problems and the perceived decline in content quality, particularly regarding Netflix originals. Overall, while the platform remains popular for its variety, the growing concerns about service reliability and customer support suggest a need for improvement to retain loyal customers.

I enjoy watching movies on netflix but the way categories are sorted makes me want to cancel my subscription. I wish they could have non english speaking movies in their own category. Just because l clicked on one only to find that it had foreign language now they suggest tones of themito watch.
Secondly they should make it a way that we can remove movies that we have watched from the lists, that way we can view other movies out there
Used to be great, now the download requirements are way to high for my internet. A lot of videos stutter since my 2 MBPS download seems to be not enough...
Especially compared to my Spectrum/Time Warner (rip off) cable bill, Netflix is one of the few great deals in my budget. $8.57 for unlimited streaming, good shows and movies of the kind I like to watch.
I do however, hate the new Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down rating system like so many do. A lot of the things I watch, I don't even bother to rate anymore unless I write a review. The 5 star system was great and 6 starts would have been even better. I don't know why big corporations think they have to keep changing something that works just fine. IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT!
Customer Service is very, very hard to get in touch with. It takes a lot of time and effort to get connected to a real human being. Once you do, they are actually very nice and helpful. (He was even an American without an accent!) I do not like the fact that Netflix obviously does not want to be bothered by their own customers.
On shows that I am thinking about watching, I'd like to see the overall star rating for all viewers.
One last thing, I would love an option to click "stop showing this". Sometimes I will start a movie or show that I end up hating and will never finish but have to see that show on the section that says "Continue watching".
Overall, the best deal for the money but all of the changes made recently are negative.
Season 5: Way too much time has passed to remember or follow the story. So far Season 5 is boring (just finished episode 2). It's too bad. I was a big a fan.
I am a long standing Netflix member and have usually loved their service. However, for the past 8 months, most of the movies I order have a "short wait". I have been waiting for "Allied" since Feb, it is now May. I can get most of the new releases quicker from my public library. I am in a rural area, so streaming is slow and I cannot get cable, therefore DVDs are my best option. Customer service gives me a run-around. They simply are not providing the quality service they have in the past.
They appear to have removed any 'decent' films and replaced with own brand series and a handful of current hollywood trivia. Has amazon taken the lead?
Why did you take bobs burgers off Netflix you guys really suck what else are you going to take off?
I like Netflix but I hate how they only have mostly run of the mill popular movies or content. Also like all streaming internet providers it works ok.
My wife & I really enjoy the Netflix network. Great way to watch wonderful shows, which we enjoy alot. Commercials are nice & just very affordable during these hard times where we can't afford regular cable. Keep up the great job Netflix & thank you for your services.
About 6 months ago, Netflix was an amazing thing for me. I've had an account with them for years. But they are losing more and more shows that I really enjoy. Including house m. D., everybody loves Raymond, Bob's burgers, keeping up appearances, attack on titan, myth hunters, and I keep Losing seasons of American dad! I don't want many shows. But those were the shows I watch... I'm considering moving to hulu.
Use to love picking moves of Netflix because star rating was a good way of picking go moves. Now that they changed with the thumbs up or thumbs down rating. We are spending more time starting moves then finding out ther not in our liking after about half hour or so of watching it. This system sucks. Going to look for another move provider. Sad choice for Netflix! Everyone I've talk to hates it...
If you want the Best Entertainment Value then a Dual Membership to Netflix is second to none.
The cost of for rights to streaming content is very competitive and expensive. Netflix still leads, and you pay $8-10/mo for streaming, I think currently about 4,000 titles, and increasingly original Netflix production.
Here's the goldmine everyone seems to be ignoring being so fixated on streaming -- If you want a great depth and breadth of content, Netflix DVD library is second to none! 93,000 titles! And access to New Releases, 9-18 months before they go to streaming, if at all. I pay $12/mo for 2 DVD's at a time. I might watch 8 DVD's month at this flat fee. If they were all new releases you could use Amazon PPV and pay $6/pop and the same 8 movies would cost you $48 in a month.
So for $20/mo I get the best streaming service@ $8/mo for one TV and 12/mo for 2 DVD's at a time. So for $20/mo I get access to 100,000 titles! No streaming service alone will ever be able to match this simply because Netflix bought DVD rights cheap for years before the competition woke up and have an incomparable library of TItles - 93,000 plus access to New Releases on DVD. Streaming is great for skimming the surface. DVD's for going deep. Can't imagine where you can spend $20/mo for a comparable value of nearly 100,000 titles! Dust of your DVD player or go buy one.
Worth every single cent! Now you can download videos for offline viewing, and my kids all have their own profiles. Kids profiles, so I know they're safe watching without me. Can't complain
This series Departures is the best series you have on Netflix. I would like to see more like this. The way to see the world as it is.
They slow it down, then display problems. Happened this year and years ago. Cheap. I can go any where, and there streamling is by far better. I'm done tomorrow. One computer, one tv. They charged me for 4 tv's and one computer
As always my fav streaming site to catch up the new series and movies. Weekends wont be fun without netflix.
I just got my cases and I love the color, the quality, the style and the price is really affordable. Lots of compliments from everyone. Amazing.
I strongly dislike the thumbs up and thumbs down option. Why did they have to replace the ratings? It made finding a quality movie much easier. My favorite movies that I keep on my list have a match rate of 60 percent or lower. I find the new rating system ineffective.
I use to be able to sort by rating but they changed it without my concent. Now I have to check tons of garbage to find something to watch. Popcorn time is one option
Answer: They do not, but he can listen to stand up shows I guess
Answer: Ohh finally someone thats having the same problem... Netflix always blames my Wi-Fi but, I know thats not the problem. Considering canceling.
