Whole process of estimate, measurement, choices/options and fitting/installation was professional, exact and courteous. As a result, the awning is exactly what I wanted: elegant whilst also functional, neatly fitted. I have recommended Nationwide to friends.

After a lot of researching pergolas and verandas, this company's track record looked good. It certainly is not the cheapest. However we wanted something that was well made, installed to a high standard and would last. Their salesman was personable and professional. I would advise you have a firm budget in mind, it's easy to be swayed with the fabulous add ons available. A couple of weeks after agreeing on the type and style including pros and cons of different products (please do some research beforehand) their surveyor came to check the sizing etc. He was super and certainly knew the product chosen. We were informed of an approximate installation date, shortly after we were given a firm date and the two installers arrived as planned. They were professional, tidy, efficient and pleasant. The process from the initial contact through to the installation was faultless. The representatives all gave glowing reviews of their employer when asked. That was exceptionally reassuring.
The whole process from sales consultation, through ordering and on to installation was a very pleasant experience. Everybody we dealt with at each stage were courteous helpful and efficient.
The product is exactly what we wanted and was installed efficiently by the two lads within three hours. They were very friendly and polite at all times. Once finished, they very clearly talked us through the operating controls for both the awning and lighting bar. The whole process has been fantastic from start to finish. John Clark was the sales person I met with and he was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. I talked to 3 companies but chose Nationwide for my veranda. They kept me updated on progress and it was ready to install before I expected it to be. Wayne and his teams worked really hard through a massive rainstorm and the veranda was up. I've used it a lot since it's been up and love being able to sit outside even when it's raining. I would highly recommend Nationwide for your next project.

2 years ago I moved into a property with 2 Bi-Fold patio doors, a French door and one other window in one room of the extension that the previous owners had installed. My garden is south facing so I have continuous sunlight from early morning to late evening. These 2 summers that I have lived here have been unbelievable hot and uncomfortable. I knew that I would need some shade. I settled on Nationwide because they are nationwide and well known in the industry. I had to have 2 awnings to cover the patio doors. The awnings shade the whole patio area and the 4 metre depth is great. After one month of using I know I have made the right decision for me. I can now look out onto my garden all day, it has made living in my home much more pleasant and delighted I had them installed before this heatwave.

From the first contact there was no pressure to purchase. Once we had made our decision to go ahead the whole process was easy to follow & timescales were met. On the day of installation the workmen arrived on time & worked non stop in very hot conditions to get the job completed & tidied up before leaving. We visited the showroom in Wareham and were seen by Martin Butcher who told us about the products and how he could help us. Although we had taken photographs of the house and garden we were not convinced that he totally appreciated our situation. However, James Fletcher when he visited our house was excellent and put our minds at rest, explaining our options. We accepted all his recommendations. These were supported by John Selleck, the surveyor when he visited us. The awnings were installed by Guy and Jordan who were were very professional and on completing the installation spent time with us making sure we understood how it worked. It has been a pleasure to work with Nationwide Home Innovations and we would thoroughly recommend them both for the quality of their product and the service they provided.
The surveyor gave us good advice and installation was carried out with precision and care. We now have a structure with blinds that are a positive enhancement and added value to our rear garden. We can highly recommend this company.

Although the installers were later in arriving, owing to a difficult earlier job, they kept us well informed and did a great job fitting the awning which we are delighted with.
Unsure if awning or pergola or other option would be effective. Technical sales were very helpful and open, not pushy. Similarly, surveyor and installation teams listened and able to answer our questions and site specific wishes. Installation at the advertised time, left site clean and tidy.

Great product and lovely to have in the garden. Gives a good amount of shade too. We when we were in the process of buying I thought it retracted when raining however, fitters said it would close if the wind was too high, so not sure which is correct. Fitters had to erect in extreme heat over 50° and never moaned once but just got on with it thats service for you. Would definately recomend this company.
Fitters turned up on time, did a good job and tidied up when they had finished. The only problem was a cracked pane of glass which was replaced and a couple of squashed plants which they managed to destroy, but all things considered we are very pleased with the product.
I am very pleased with the newly fitted awning. It's just a shame that the original quote was incorrect - the height of the door over which the awning would project, was not originally considered correctly. So the final bill was for quite a lot more money. Otherwise, it went well.

The build team arrived at 8am and immediately started work. They only needed hot drinks to keep them going as it was freezing cold. They worked well, efficiently and tidied up after themselves. They even put the larger items back on my patio which I really appreciated as I'm in my 70's! The only problem was the late arrival of the glass panels which set them back an hour or so..

Great service from start to finish. The fitters were really friendly and tidy. It started of a bit high for us, but after a quick phone call they were back the Next day to lower it.
Looks to be a good product, fitters very efficient and attentive, so far so good, won't be used until we get out of winter so for now it is another job done!
Excellent service from biking the original meeting through to the survey and installation. Some confusion due to a new appointments system also swiftly dealt with. Installation carried out in a day with no fuss. The veranda itself is wonderful.
Jordan and his team made a great job of installing my electric awning. He explained everything there was to know about the awning and I was given clear instructions on how it worked and given aftercare booklet and advice.

We chose an awning with lights and a garden heater which looks very impressive We also have a screen that drops down at the front as our garden get the sun all day. So looking forward to using it when the weather improves as it is perfect for family and friends get togethers.

We contacted Nationwide with our rather precise needs, they were extremely helpful and came out and measured, we now have a great canopy. Barry and Ross turned up dead on time and did a great job, very happy.

Right from the start, the service was excellent. The salesman was very knowledgeable and gave us good advice about what would be most suitable for our way of living. He also gave comprehensive details of what to expect further down the line. The surveyor was also very knowledgeable and gave extremely good advice with regards to the positioning of the veranda and awning. The team of fitters were exceptional; amiable, highly professional and obviously very knowledgeable. Both the veranda and awning were fitted very efficiently, no mess was left and they even covered over the concrete base of the post with surrounding soil. (These supposedly small things make a vast difference.) The veranda and awning look great and will enable us to enjoy being outside, whatever the weather. We would definitely recommend Nationwide to other potential customers.
While the glass room is good and the installers are very polite, After the install, I am finding a lot of metal debris on grass, in my gravel beds, and in crevices. If they are on tiles, they are easy to remove, but not when they are on grass, gravel beds or on narrow crevices. And these are sharp, and on grass, they can be dangerous if I stepped on them bare foot. The installers should use more dust collection sheets and dust extractors in the future and make sure these metal debris are collected immediately, and should not wait till the end of the install to collect these up.
A replacement awning for one that had lasted over thirty years. I thought the previous one ( also a Nationwide) was good but the new one has so many improvements and it works well and looks good.
John, who came to give us the a choice of products, was very nice and spent time with us. However, when he left, we were led to believe that there was certain package that we was getting. But that was, for customers that. Spent ******* and and not 9400. This was a heater, we did have the heater in the end but we was asked to pay for it, when I pointed out we was told it was free we did get it for free. But when the surveyor came out, the measurement for the blind was wrong.And that was another two hundred and fifty pounds.Added to the bill. However, I will say that the installers were very professional. Had to put a few measures, right? But the product does look very good and I can say, I am happy. Would I recommend this company not sure?
The initial survey was very quick, and the rep was very thorough in his presentation without being push and explained in detail of the options available and what we wanted to achieve and the follow up to installation was reasonably quick, the installation engineers were very prompt and polite and cleaned the area thoroughly on completion and gave a good demonstration on the operation of the canopy before they left

Excellent design and fitting service. The new veranda fits in so well it looks as if it was always there. Fitting took a morning and they left the area clean and tidy.
Overall we are extremely satisfied with the finished product. The installation guys were brilliant and the salesman and office staff always polite! That said, the scheduling of the initial visit could have been smoother, the wait time shorter (from order to installation) and the delivery of some wrong components avoided (it took two visits to complete).

The team of two worked great together always on the go, we supplied the tea/coffee and biscuits and they kept going. Really pleased with the veranda which was assembled all within five hours from start to finish, they had a three hour journey each way to arrive at our home. The team were friendly and courtesy and took all the packing and left over materials away with them, including soil. I would defiantly recommend this particular team who had travelled all the way from Dorset. Thank you for a job well done.
This company did need chasing for a quote but after getting that and choosing them they carried out the project very professionally and to budget. The install team were very good indeed and polite, clean etc. the surveyor returned twice with no quibble to advise and recommend the works we had to carry out before install and was very good too. The office staff were always available and again did what they had to do well.
My garage door was fitted years ago and it has been very good.
The Nationwide Home Innovations support service has been fantastic, they recently came out and upgraded the electronics and remote controls for me. The cost of the work was very fair and the door is now set for many more years of service.

Decided I wanted an awning for my husband who likes to run the barbecue and smoker for 20 hours at a time, but didn't want to have the thing out all the time. Got a BUNCH of quotes and salesman visits and it was a tricky decision but I really liked the salesman and the fact that they were unfazed by my desire for the awning to be longer than it is wide. I liked the thoroughness of the surveyor visit and that the installation was delayed when they discovered the brackets were not a perfect size. The installers did an excellent job in terrible weather conditions (it is NOT ideal to put up an awning in gale force winds) and my husband was bowled over and borderline tearful when I surprised him with it. Yes, it is pricey but very much in the ballpark of every other quote I got and I really felt they were thorough and extremely professional in the installation. Only quibble - I was told that a 13 amp socket would be ample for awning, light and heater but it struggles and I'm getting a higher rated fuse but it's not really a difficulty.
We used Nationwide to install a Veranda, the end result is fantastic, although i would like to say that the salesman was a bit old school and just wanted to get the sale done and told us some things that later turned out to be untrue, the surveyor was a lot better, honest and straight forward and helped clear things up although it cost us. Overall please with the result but sales need to stop the, "this is the best deal to sign up no" routine as it so old hat

After putting up this review their CEO rang to say the person who had been dealing with the matter was on holiday and he (CEO) would send the money back. At least I got my money back. However I feel this was only because they did not like the reviews. This man talked to me as though he was doing me a favour giving me my money back. Now I have my money back they keep ringing up asking me to take down the review.

We find this review unfair and misleading.
This client received a clearly laid out quotation 6 weeks prior to signing a clearly laid out contract for a particular product with a particular design. Upon our surveyor’s visit, the design that was agreed was completely changed for something that was not conducive to the quotation or signed contract. To achieve the newly requested parameters would have added considerably to the cost.
We attempted to work with the client to reach a middle ground but it was deemed by both parties to not be possible. It was subsequently agreed that the deposit would be refunded in full and being this made the initial review obsolete, upon clearance of the monies, the review would be removed.
We kept to our side of the agreement – it is a shame that “Caro N” could not do the same.
Why have you taken a deposit of £2497. 50 off a Disabled Old Age Pensioner. Although you were always ringing to get the deposit I heard nothing for nearly a month once you had my money. I showed your first "surveyor" the photo of what was required. I thought the price was too high and told him so and did not go ahead. Your office sent an email to see why I hadn't ordered. I told your office it was too dear. Then your office sent an email saying it would be £4999. I paid the deposit then hear nothing for almost a month (Jan 2019)
I had to ring you as I was becoming worried about my money. Your office blamed the second "Surveyor" he blamed your office when he arrived saying he had not got the paperwork. After being shown the same photo that I had shown the first "Surveyor" of what was required to your second "Surveyor." said " it will be cost more money". I was not willing too pay more in the first place. Your 2nd Surveyor said I would get my money back so where is my money? I have seen other reviews on the web where you I believe treat OAP badly is this what you are trying to do to me? Had I have known what was going to happen I would never have paid any money in the first place. Decent reputable companies I believe do not treat customers in this way.

I first used Nationwide about twenty years ago. I recently decided that it was time to replace my awning and sun screens so I decided to use Nationwide again. I was delighted to find that the quality of their service has not deteriorated since I last used them. The whole process from ordering to fitting was handled professionally and efficiently. Our Nationwide garage roller door, which has worked perfectly for many years, jammed in a partially open position. Following a call to Nationwide the problem was resolved on the call-out visit which occurred the next working day. I can unreservedly recommend Nationwide for first class products and service.
We had a problem with the remote control for the heating element within our installation. Problem compounded by being intermittent, so the first time the firm came out, it had resolved itself. Second time around, still happy to come, and this time resolved the issue by replacing a faulty part.
Very happy with the service, and determination to resolve the problem.
