Was not easy as 1, 2, 3 unfortunately, not sure why but i found it easier to purchase on go-daddy...
I registered this domain, set up DNS, then went to bed. Got up the next morning and they had suspended it demanding "business paperwork". I told them it is a.email and not a business. They got rude, told me I won't get it back without paperwork, and then they put my domain on Godaddy Auctions for over $400.Search "namecheap stole domain" on Google and you'll see they do this all the time. They are Indian scammers. Avoid!

I have bought one of your ssl certificate, the i couldn't use it, my domain service provider doesnt use one of the option you propose, neither cpanel, i use the default settings. I want a refund
I'm a professional journalist taking my business online. Professional webmasters recommended Namecheap to me, among three other companies. According to them, this was the best for beginner-medium or even professional requirements if you don't want many complications. Another one was too technical and more expensive hosting, minus domain registration. The last one seemed as easy but didn't include domain registration either. So I decided based on the whole package and ease of use. Everything has been smooth and easy to understand except this policy with the SSL certificates. Namecheap offers one for free the first year, then charge for it. These certificates are free and many companies include them with their packages. I had to rely on Cloudflare for protection. I'd improve this issue to give the service a top rating. I like Namecheap's policy on permanent privacy with the domains, and am planning to expand my business after a year of testing. Hopefully things will work nicely and I'll stay with this company.
