I am getting closer to getting prequalified for NACA. It is a process but if you have all your paperwork, you will be fine. Just be patient and persistent with the journey. It will be worth it in the end!
We are wrapping up our 90 day savings plan, to hopefully become officially NACA qualified and to move towards the next step in our home buying process. Miranda Page is our counselor and she has been amazing, every step of the way. She is upbeat, friendly, down to earth and communicative! We are very happy with her and look forward to making our memory of purchasing our first home with her and this wonderful company! Jessica Head
I met with counselor Antonio for my face to face meeting and he made me feel very confident that NACA was the right place for me to be as I begin my journey of becoming a home owner. He is very knowledgeable and willing to help guide me through the process. Thank you Antonio!
I became a member of NACA in August 2023. I finished my Workshop, got my NACA ID, and went to my first counseling appointment today. There is a lot of Paperwork that I still need to turn in, but nothing that i cant do especially if I want to own my first home. They also incorporated my section voucher to pay for my mortgage should I be deemed eligible! Im excited and thank you NACA for making dreams come true for us Low income people. This gives us hope and motivation to better ourselves and do better so we can have a part in making a dream for many of us to come true!
I had my first counselor meeting with Naca. It went better than I had hoped. I had heard a lot of mixed reviews about the program. I was happy that everything went smoothly. I have a few things that need to be handled on my end, before I'm naca qualified.
Antonio Coronado is a patient counselor that has been helping to complete the necessary forms in my portal.

Life happens to good people and NACA believes everyone deserves a second chance. Stay with the program and process the end result will be well worth it.
I've just begun my journey with the NACA Homebuying Program, and I'm already impressed by their dedication to helping first-time buyers like me. Their commitment to affordability, low-interest rates, and comprehensive support through education and counseling has given me confidence in the homebuying process. I'm excited to see where this partnership takes me, and I'd recommend NACA to anyone starting their homebuying journey.
My first counselor meeting I was nervous and when I Nicole Donald starting talking to me I told her I was nervous she told me don't be. It ok a lot of people who I talk to feel the same way.Just relax. She started going over things I had to do thing she want me too do. I had a great time I know she got my back. She sweet heart very understanding and patience and that is what I like about her.I can call her a friend. Thank you
As a first time homeowner, the home buying process is intense but NACA makes it better! We were blessed with an amazing counselor named Ms. Ellen Petersen, we love her & she has been very supportive throughout this journey. Ms. Ellen is kind, sweet, and does her job very well! Not only have my husband and I learned more about the home process but also learned how to save better and how to make better financial decisions. We are very grateful to NACA – specifically our counselor.
As a first time homeowner, the process of buying a home is very intimidating – especially in this market!. However, NACA has been there every step of the way helping us not only with buying a home but also with saving and making better financial decisions. Our counselor Ms. Ellen Petersen is amazing and we love her!
Excellent service and very informative staff. Helped me understand the home-buying process from start to finish. Highly recommend!
My name is Koffi P.
The friend who introduced me to NACA has warned me that the process is generally challenging and proving. I'm learning it. I heard and read a lot of excellent comments and can't wait to write one and share my experience with others when the journey comes to the end.
The process requires patience, discipline and a sense of order.
My wife and I are happy to be working with Gladys, a diligent, steady and experienced counselor, who is assisting us in a professional way that has encouraged us to continue the process. It is our expectation that we will see the end soon and become one of the families NACA will have helped buy their house with a loan at a lower interest rate, with no down payment, no closing fees and no PMI.
NACA is not for everyone. You have to be patient and trust the process. Antonio Coronado is one of the best Mortgage Counselor in my opinion. He's patient and will make sure everything is right with your file so that you are approved. The risk you take with NACA is worth the reward.
Mr. Antonio was very patient with me and answered all my questions and he even went back whe n he already mentioned it. Thank you so much. Excited for the NACA program.
Throughout the entire process, NACA's staff was knowledgeable, patient, and always available to answer my questions and provide guidance. They walked me through each step, from pre-approval to closing, ensuring that I understood everything and felt confident in my decisions.
I cannot express how grateful I am for the NACA program. As a single woman, owning a home has always been a dream, especially since my family lost ours in 2012. NACA has been the beacon of hope that guided me towards achieving this dream.
The support and guidance I received from NACA have been nothing short of remarkable. Their dedicated team is helping me navigate the complex world of home buying, providing invaluable financial counseling and support, and education every step of the way. They make the entire process smooth and accessible, ensuring I could afford a home while maintaining financial stability.
I know naca has been around for years, helping people with managing there finances and preparing them for home ownership. I feel this is a great program to access so I can be successful in home ownership.
If you have a dream of owning a home without a mortgage, this is the perfect place to start your journey. In the process, you have to be ready to gather documents and download them before each meeting. Our counselor, Gladys has been very helpful and understanding. I am looking forward to becoming a homeowner through this program.

Answer: I decided to go with NACA because they don't consider your credit score and the counselors work with you to become qualified. NACA has made me more diligent with saving money by not spending on wants but needs. This method has strengthen my assets considerably. Also, because you have to volunteer your services as you see fit at least 5x a year which is great because you are giving back to the community. DEE in Far Rockaway
