My journey with NACA started in November of 2021... I must say, the challenges are worth it, the really help you focus your energy on what it take to be a home owner. I will say, the journey isn't for the faint of hearts. But if you have what it take to push through. Only the best comes for you at the end.
NACA helps prospective homeowners build the correct skills to be a homeowner. NACA provides a sensible rate for mortgages but they only provide this for individuals that have proven to keep the good habits!
This is a great opportunity and great program for first time home buyers. Counseling sessions are very informative. You get one on one assistance with an HUD Certified Housing Counselor who helps you to prepare to buy a home and shows you how to build your credit, budget your money, and have a higher chance at getting your dream home. In this program, you'll never feel alone. There's a group of experts there to help you step by step until you achieve your goal. Overall, great program and great experience! Michael from Rochester, NY office is the best!
The process takes months, so you better come with a lot of patients. It's also best to have your required documents uploaded before you meet with the counselor. DKeel
Naca helped one of my friends to become a homeowner. Now she lives in a beautiful home with her family, and she couldn't have made it without the support from NACA.
Best first time buyer program in the country. With competitive interest rate, no down payment, no closing cost or PMI requested, no one can beat that. I will defenitely recomand this program to those searching for a permanent home! Shout out to Mrs. Crosby-Sharik! Very patient and kind!
I've been working with my NCA MC for the past couple of months and she has been very detailed and helping me stay on track. The NACA program is the way to go.
I am currently doing the NACA program and its a wonderful program for first time home buyers. Since this is my first time buying a home, they make the steps and possibility of getting approved very easy. Things I don't understand are thoroughly explained and the process is very easy. They try to help low income families get approved to buy a home and that a great thing for the community. I highly recommend attending this program.
Naca is a great program. Still in phase one but I have learned how to track my spending and save. Puts you on the right track to home ownership.
MY HUSBAND AND I ARE CURRENTLY WORKING WITH NACA TO ACHIEVE OUR GOAL OF HOME OWNERSHIP- WE KNOW FOR A FACT THAT IT IS NOT A SCAM BECAUSE BOTH OF OUR GREAT NIECES ARE CURRENTLY RESIDING IN THEIR BRAND NEW HOMES WHICH THEY ACHIEVED WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF NACA- THE PROCESS IS MADE EASIER BECAUSE OF THE COUNSELORS THAT WALK YOU TO THE PROCESS-BIG KUDOD TO OUR COUNSELOR ERNA WILSON…
This staff has been very informative and cooperative. Always knowledgeable on how to help me through the buying process
This business assists potential homeowners and homeowners that are having trouble with their current mortgage. The home buying process with them is long and tedious, but it works and worth it in the end. I know multiple people that they have assisted in becoming successful homeowners.
My counselor he has been a grate help in this process. My counselor gave me all the information I need to reach my goal. I don't think I'll be able to buy a house without this program. No down payment, no closing cost. And no mortgage insurance. There's nothin better then NACA.
Back when the home crisis was going on (around 2010) the was an event in LA and people came from far and wide with promises that everyone would be helped. I waited for many days to speak to my lender, was spoken down to by NACA representatives they hurded us around like cattle. One rep had us seated for hours yelling at us as if we were prisoners and said that we did it to ourselves and if we were not so stupid we would not be there and that if anyone spoke or said of anything he was saying he would make sure we were sorry. Phones were very different back then and you could not record things like you can now, believe me I tried. He was too far away and the recording didnt pick up his voice enough. So after days of a very unsafe and traumatizing event I finally got my turn to speak to b of a who said NACA RECEIVED 500.00 FROM THE GOVERNMENT FOR EACH DAY I WAS THERE AND THEY COULDNT HELP ME BECAUSE I HAD AN FHA LOAN AND NACA WAS FULLY AWARE OF THIS! They could try to have me speak to someone to do a loan modification by phone.
Big fat waste of time and NACA knew it.
Dont trust this company!
Over a period of time, I've been working with NACA, and each time I've met with my counselor(s) I've gained traction. Make no mistake, it is a process, but it's well worth the process. They give you an action plan that you're required to follow in order to make sure that you have all your ducks in a row before purchasing your home. I have an amazing counselor who explains what I need which is helpful because I don't feel left out of the loop of my own process. I'm almost rounding the process and heading to the finish line, and I will say that I've learned so much during this process. I'd recommend anyone trust their process and have patience. If you're interested in homeownership, I'd suggest NACA because they definitely prepare you as a home buyer I feel like they set you up to avoid failure. I'm hoping to be complete within the next month or so and will follow up upon completion.~Gordon
I would like to see NACA streamline their qualification process. While this has been an extremely frustrating experience at times, I must admit I was my own worst enemy. NACA wants what NACA wants. Don't fight it just supply the required documentation. The website didn't seem to be intuitive and all uploads have to be PDF'S so save yourself the pain of trying to upload Word docs or jpeg's, etc. My counselors have been the full range of not so good to terrific. In the 3 plus years I've been trying to get qualified I'm on my 4th counselor now. In that time housing has appreciated demonstrably. So my lax approach to this process is now likely to cost me an additional 6 figures, hooray. Overall it's been a long and winding road but the end is in sight finally.
We have been in this process to buy the house and we found out that they have good professional consultation which walk through the process. And its a good opportunity for those having medium income. We believe NACA have best mortgage rate and we look forward to buy our home through this program.
For anyone that qualifies to use NACA, why would you not. I honestly believed it was too good to be true. This program has been a godsend. I started only thinking about the benefits I would receive once I qualify but I have learned so much during the process about budgeting and finances in general. I have recommended this program to everyone who has told me they're looking to purchase a home. Only thing I would say is be patient and your blessings will come.
I heard about the Naca program through word of month. I have completed the workshop, and in the process of obtaining all required documents for processing. There's a lot of paperwork required, but the thought of no down payment or closing cost makes it worth it. I have been fortunate to have a wonderful counselor whose guidance as made the process a lot smother. Naca is truly a great resource when it comes to obtaining homeownership.
It's a really great program, the team and the community are amazing, always available to help, my action plan was clear, the requirement for participate make it easy to become a home buyer in the best condition possible

Answer: I decided to go with NACA because they don't consider your credit score and the counselors work with you to become qualified. NACA has made me more diligent with saving money by not spending on wants but needs. This method has strengthen my assets considerably. Also, because you have to volunteer your services as you see fit at least 5x a year which is great because you are giving back to the community. DEE in Far Rockaway
