NACA in review
March 11, 2022

I didn't know where to go with the home buying process. It was intimidating to me. NACA streamlined the process for me guiding me along the way to getting closer to obtaining my goal of being an home owner.

Great program
March 9, 2022

A friend of mine who bought his house by NACA referred me.No downpayment and low-interest rates are my motivation to join the program. The assigned advisor to me is helpful. All I need is to keep my financial documents ready and good payment history. I am now in the house searching step. I hope I will have the house soon.

Awesome Program
March 8, 2022

I found out about the program through a retaliator agent who just so happen to be showing a home to her client and my daughter in law was looking at the same home. She asked us had we heard of NACA and we said no. She gave us her card (I lost it). I decided to give it a try. I've been part of the program for about a year now and on my way to being a homeowner.
They have great counselors and webinar to help you along the way. The thing I like most is your credit is not an issue and there is no down payment. I am learning a lot in this chapter of my life and looking forward to homeownership.

Great Services!
March 8, 2022

I know I wanted a house to own last year. I always known what type of house I want, however that was all I knew until I started working with NACA. The intake meeting was very informative and educational. The intake meeting gives you insight into what you need to know to start the process of buying a home. The counselling session gives a chance to ask any questions you have and prepare you for the next step. 94

NACA is a great program for first time homebuyers. Really anyone who would like to purchase a home but may not have sufficient down payment or excellent credit. They take care of down payment and closing cost but the program also help you get your finances in order. I think that is the biggest help, because once you're an owner if something goes wrong you're responsible. Nobody wants a big nice house and no money to keep it up. That's where the budgeting comes in. NACA is a great program for anyone looking to purchase home. Not just for those with bad credit

Your statements "Nobody wants a big nice house and no money to keep it up" is a very realistic definition of the term "house poor". And you are exactly right about that being the reason for the budget process and other financial education the NACA program provides. Homeownership is a major responsibility, and NACA is there he make sure you are ready for it!

This is a good website to use if you wanna be a home owner. The requirements aren't too much and the programs are simple to understand. The only problem is that the process can be extremely long and tedious with some unfortunate problems lacking from proper communication or foreshadowing. Its possible to have it as short as 3 months but on average you are likely to spend 9 months to 2 years working on this process before even getting to the looking for a home phase. If you can weather the storm and have the patience then this is the site for you.

I think that NACA is an awesome program for low income households. My wife and I are in the process of having our own home and I am very happy about this. Our counselor has been excellent in guiding us through this process and we have utmost faith that she will help us to become homeowners soon. Thank you so much NACA for helping people to own a home!

My name is Rovon and at the age of 45 I'm now buying my first home. It's a my dream house in a great neighborhood that I feel proud to raise my little ones. My wife is happy, as well(bonus). Mr. Wilson my Naca rep has been quite instrumental in making this extremely detailed, long process go thru smoothly. I'm glad I was referred to this program. It has changed my life.

I first heard of NACA in 2015 after retiring from the Army. I was looking for the best fit for me in the home buying process and, being retired military, my options were open. I looked at VA Loans from a number of lenders as well as first time home buyer programs before I went into a NACA orientation. NACA required discipline and unfortunately at the time and on my part, I was not ready. Now here I am nearly 6 years later focused and on track to become NACA Qualified. The process has been exactly what my counselor said it would be, "it's on me." She has been understanding yet firm with letting me know what areas I need to put more effort into. She's never late to a call, she doesn't rush through, and she allows me time to answer and ask questions. 5 Stars, I will post more as I complete the homebuying process.

I'm still in the beginning stage and learning from research and being in various NACA groups. I can say that NACA is not for the faint of heart and if you don't have patience then this may not be the program for you. I am scheduled to meet my first mortgage counselor in May and have uploaded all my documents and trying to keep all my documents updated. Read the workbook front to back and back to front, take notes and then read it again. So far everyone I have contacted at NACA has been very helpful.

NACA PROGRAM
March 5, 2022

My fiance and I are going through the program. It has been a very time consuming process. We are almost done with the program. Each month we are requested to send in additional information. In the end, it will be all worth it, with what the program offers to help us become home buyers.

So far, so good
March 5, 2022

I have an intake session on March 11th but so far the process has been pretty straight forward. They really do give you the resources to know exactly what to be prepared for and set your expectations. For a first time homebuyer where the process is completely overwhelming, having a workbook laying everything out & so many resources for questions or concerns is really great.
