Naca is a mortgage program that offers no down payment, no closing cost and no PMI. You also have the option to buy down your interest rate. I haven't found any other mortgage programs offering these perks. I decided to give it try. The process so far has been a smooth one. I am hopeful that I will become a homeowner soon. If you are in the market for buying a home Naca is a good mortgage option, give it a try. -Tina S

My husband and I are on the journey to be First time Homeowners and with these high interest rate I was researching and came across NACA. I would say NACA has the best interest rates plus no down payment or closing costs. Wow who can beat that. I did my workshop, got my NACA ID, uploaded all my required documents and is scheduled for my first intake with my Counselor on 03/28/2022. I am so excited about my journey. #Handmethemkeys #NACA #Best in America Mortgage

NACA made my first Time home buying easy and convenient. They offer affordable rates, no down payment, no closing cost.
Our housing counselor ( Darryl Hughes) was very helpful and advised us about what to do next.
Thank you NACA

My counselor didn't contact me for our scheduled meeting. I called the main number and under 45 minutes, someone else assisted me. The meeting went well.

New to this program
March 23, 2022

I wanted to buy my 1st home, and had no idea where to start, I looked up programs and came across NACA, I did the workshop and learned about the low interest rates and the Hand program, and I'm still in the process, but so far so good, I'm really hoping I'll be able to purchase soon. I will give an update once I have finished the entire process, until then I can only give 3 stars.

Great Program
March 23, 2022

This is an awesome program that considers low to moderate-income earners. It seems as though the process will be overwhelming based on the documents required but if you do your due diligence, you will find out this is an awesome and accommodating program. I am super impressed with the level of professionalism of my mortgage counselor Ms. Natalie. She is very respectful and takes her time to explain things, always helpful and supportive. Generally, I will recommend the NACA program to friends and families. I look forward to my dream home God bless NACA in Jesus' name Amen.

Since last I wrote, I have learned & experienced so much with being involved in this program. As a reminder NACA, has No down payment, No closing costs, No fees, No requirement for perfect credit score and at a below-market interest rate. You can't get no better than that with todays market. I have learned what to look for when doing a home inspection as I was in contract back in December 2021 and upon doing the home inspection there were a lot of issues and the deal fell through. Know I could have brought the house because NACA also provides property renovation assistance and Membership Assistance for NACA homeowners. However, I wanted a home with less issues for my first year living there. NACA assist it's members through the whole home buying process as they have dedicated staff who are committed to working with you to access this incredible mortgage product and to advocate for strong neighborhoods and economic justice. I cannot wait to update your once I find my forever home. Until then everyone stay well and remember... naca.com

I heard about NACA last year in November of 2020, through a friend who went through the process maybe 5 years ago. She informed me that she had no down payment, no closing costs and no Fees. I told her yeah right that has to be a scam. She said no that's how I brought my house with NACA's assistance. I must admit I was skeptical. So I went on the website and read everything at least twice. I still thought it was unbelievable. So, I began to ask my friend more questions about NACA and she said you would love the program because you like volunteering and helping people. So, after we spoke a couple of more times about NACA, I decided to take the homebuyers workshop in 2021. After the workshop I got my NACA I.D. number and started uploading documents to my web file towards my journey of being a homeowner. I must say I was excited, nervous, and a little scared all at the same time. Because as I am going through the process with NACA, I'm excited to see my dream of becoming a homeowner is starting to turn into reality. I'm nervous because I don't know what to expect throughout this journey and a little scared because I might be making the wrong decision in buying a house. I decided I will make the best of it and see this journey to the end. Hey DEE is ready in Far Rockaway... Wish me luck.

Thank you Michelle for introducing NACA to me. In December, I took the first step of purchasing my first home. What was that step? Attending one of NACA seminars about home ownership and it was the best decision I could every make. After joining NACA, I couldn't wait to get my first counseling session to see how long it is going to take me to get into my home. Yesterday, I was so excited to have my counseling session! It wasn't a shock to me about some of the things that were mention to me that I needed to change. However, it showed me if I really want to get my own home that I have to get out of my own way and start be more disciplining in my budgeting and finance. I can't wait for my next session with my counseling because he will see a big difference. Thank you NACA!

Rude Counselors
March 17, 2022

I really wanted this program to work out in my favor, but if you have questions throughout the process and in between appointments (6 months), you have to wait until your next appointment. Initially I was told that I can email and contact my counselor (Curtis Luke) for additional questions. I mean he was 15minutes late to my interview, he has ample amount of time to respond obviously. Long response time (with still no response, one month) granted I am patient and understand the high volume of participants, but I called to speak to anyone to determine if this process is even worth it and I get irritated answers in lamens term, "stop calling, you called and emailed already (Tenecia Dixel)." I think im better off taking my chances with a normal lender and a faster process. I have a friend that went through a brokerage company and was approved in 2 days, granted she is better off financially, but still not so many limitations. The structure of this program is tidious and drawn out. Good luck
