NACA has been a great experience for my wife and me so far. We've been looking for a home and just haven't been able to save enough with student loan payments as our only debt. Our counselor has been very helpful, and we're almost approved! It's a great system if you come into it organized and ready to work.
I first learned about this organization from a friend who did a zoom call workshop discussing different programs. I found out about this home buying program, no down payment, no closing costs, no private mortgage insurance, and no fees; they don't look at credit scores and can help people become homeowners. After taking it with my friend who personally went through this program. I thought this was the best option for me. I recently started my process on July 12th already started the process, and I was linked to a great counselor. I'm looking forward to becoming a future homeowner for the first time.
I'm in the process now with NACA, I decided to go with NACA, because of their awesome benefits, reviews, and referrals. NACA has the best rates, no closing costs, no down payment. I'm so glad I found out about NACA.
I'm bummed due to my previous counselor leaving not only NACA but myself high and dry. I had to reach out to the CEO of NACA to get things rolling and that's when I learned my counselor up and left the company. How horrible is that? I do however, have a new counselor and he is more than making up for my previous shortfalls and poor communication. He is working hard and diligently to get me ready to become a home owner. I am happy with how it just stepped in and started working had for my cause. I would say to all that are going through NACA to ask questions to be sure you understand what is asked of you. I truly feel confident that my new counselor will get the job done and I will be a homeowner by the end of the year. Fingers crossed. Reminder: Ask a lot of questions if you're not sure of something or just need more info. Good luck to you all

My experience with NACA so far has been a good one. I'm a still in the review process and I just need to have all my paperwork together.
I am so thankful to have received a counsel who was just as happy as I am to start my home buying process. She talked me throght my inital intake and also gave me an active plan to complete before my next appointment. Just beginning but Loving the NACA process!
By far the best mortgage around I'm glad I found out about naca. I would and will recommend to anyone in the market for a home
I do not know how to thank my friend who referred me Naca. People are patient. They respond to all your questions. The help and guidance I'm receiving along the way is amazing. I'm very thankful and excited for what to come.
We are more than half way thru the N. A. C. A. program. Looking forward to becoming a home owner, with the help of our counselor we will get there. It can be frustrating from time to time but well worth it in the end.
My co-worker introduced me to the NACA program. I attended a workshop and learnt that the program helps you to buy a home. I am very grateful for the help I am receiving. I will personally recommend NACA to any first time home buyer.
I attended one of the N. A. C. A. workshops about their home buying program. I have started the process and have been in communication with my counselor. They are very helpful and am looking forward to the process of becoming a homeowner.
I must admit my first two counselors were not the most pleasant to work with. After a year in the program I felt like quitting. However, I made a comment to myself to finish what I started, and now I'm at a point where I can see the light shinning at the end of the tunnel. The counselor I have now, is very supportive. You have to be committed as well as the counselor you're working with. Whatever suggestion given, work with it!
It was informative and helpful with giving hope to homeownership. I am in the beginning stages of this process and excited to see where it leads.
NACA is an organization that is helping folks all over the country buy homes that they wouldn't be able to otherwise. You can get approved for a mortgage with no down payment and pay down your mortgage rate, even with a high debt to income ratio. My partner and I have been working towards NACA approval for a few months now, and our counselor has been very helpful through the process. The one thing I'll say is give it some time, it could be several months before you get approved.
So far the process has been ok. I was rescheduled 3 times before speaking to a counselor. She was very detailed and please keep documents they will request them multiple times.
When I first heard of NACA on Facebook post I thought it was to good to be true. But I was intrigued so I said I would check it out they have Home Owner Workshop online so I signed up and listened in. I was amazed and a little teary eyes of the testimony of the start of the program that would want to help people like me working hard and wanting the hope of purchasing a home but did not have all the funds necessary to purchase. So I stayed to the end of the workshop and received my NACA ID and I signed in and started uploading all the documents needed to qualify for the program. It is real and it is possible. I have had my first counseling session and now working on my action plan. Stay the course and you can have the dream I know I will. Thank you NACA for making it possible.
I am going to be completely honest
I was very uneasy during my two day at the four day conference that took place in Queens NewYork
I went twice once on Saturday and the other day was Monday. I was able to get my member id on Saturday and returned with all my documents for Monday. I took a half day at work to be there and sit with a counselor. The Counselor session I had my person was tired and she just didn't have good energy bc she was ready to go. I didn't blame her for that bc she was working a 16 plus hour day for four days in a row.
I just wish she was more interested in helping me. I drove in from north jersey sat in traffic for her to turn me away for one thing. 200 dollar surplus in my bank account. But the funny part about this all is I have two bank account and I had the available find in the other account. She didn't feel like telling me all I had to do was write a letter stating why I didn't have the funds and how I can better prepare for next month.
I wish I spoke with a friendly rested naca rep that day
So far I have been doing this process for 2 1/2 years and I am currently trying to get underwritten for a higher since my income changed. Overall very tedious process but I think worth it so far. I hope i can get my home by next year.
The NACA program is designed to help you purchase a home with no down payment and low interest rates is great. However, I think some changes should be made to make the program more efficient. We have been NACA members for over 2 years and we've had 5 different counselors. We have given them everything they need. We realize that there is probably a shortage in staff, but there is too much time in between meetings with your assigned counselor.(usually 3 months or more) The new office in Atlanta on N. Peachtree is nice, but I think an email should have been sent to members letting us know that they had moved from 160 Clairmont in Decatur. Nevertheless, we will continue to work with the program to hopefully get a home soon. We will recommend the program to others.
As a first time home buyer applying for a NACA mortgage I was both overwhelmed and impressed by the amount of information needed to apply and the amount of scrutiny placed on my documentation and financial outlook. I wish I knew about this program sooner so that I could of took more time to prepare, but the pace of the current market has made it a bit difficult to do things in a timely manner. I am super glad that the counselors take their job very seriously in vetting applicants. The vetting process is long and ardurous but it guarantees that you will get a mortgage you can truly afford with one's current income levels. I think we all need this type of tough love when purchasing a home to ensure that it is a win-win for both the lender and the borrower. If you have the time and need some extra help really getting your financial picture in frame then this is a great program for you!

Answer: I decided to go with NACA because they don't consider your credit score and the counselors work with you to become qualified. NACA has made me more diligent with saving money by not spending on wants but needs. This method has strengthen my assets considerably. Also, because you have to volunteer your services as you see fit at least 5x a year which is great because you are giving back to the community. DEE in Far Rockaway
