This is first time I, So bad and unprofessional for customer service, was very hard to get in touch with them, just to reschedule the flight, it was hard to contact them, and when I paid a discrepancy for those flights, it was always a dud, and they blamed me, when obviously their websites were in trouble, this was just their ploy to take our money, You get money in an unclean way.its haram
I purchased these flights through mytrip.com. I purchased the flexible ticket in case I needed to change my flight due to covid. They changed my return flight themselves a week before due to covid which does not work for me. I have been calling and trying to view my my flight to change it for 4 days now with no success. When I finally got a hold of someone they were charging me $96 to change my flight, refusing to check for other flight prices. Then he called me back and told me it was an error the price was $125. The price of the flight on the Alaskan airlines website itself. When I confronted him with these facts, asked to cancel my flight and reimburse me for the flight that they canceled and changed. I was told it was nonrefundable and no he wasn't going to cancel my flight. I reminded of their 24 hour cancellation policy and he still kept saying that it was non refundable. I asked to speak to a manager and he just hung up on me. Worst experience ever! I just lost my hard earn money on these pieces of $#*!!
Probably the worst travel agency ever. They take forever to respond (which was already the case before corona). If it is your turn, they just disconnect. Making you go through the queue all over again. And they just refuse to help. Even if the Airline offers an solution, but demand that it has to go via the Travel Agency, MyTrip/GoToGate/ETraveli Just refuses to help you further with it. (in my case: Malaysia Airlines is OK with a refund in stead of a Voucher, but the Agency refuses to help with it).
And the travel vouchers they offer are only for flights from 1 specific airline (which is logical) but only valid if you book via their site, on which the prices are MUCH higher than via the airline directly. (50% to 500% higher).
You will also notice that the people that actually give a positive feedback about this company are the people that never contacted their customer service, or are being sarcastic.

Worst customer service i have ever experienced in my life. Cant give less than 1 Star, but it does not even deserve a single star. No response by mail and nobody picks call on customer care number. Terrible response. Airlines paid back to Mytrip but they just dont bother to even inform the status to customer.
AVOID at any circumstances.
Literally the worse travel company. I don't know why they're still in business or while airlines are still working with them!
My trip got cancelled due to COVID and I requested for a refund so I called them. I got, 1) lots of excuses why I should do a refund (I'll have to wait months, travel voucher is better, etc.), 2) I'll have to pay a fee for cancellation even though it wasn't my fault, and 3) I got the runaround (transferred to a different agent, will make you wait forever until you hopefully give up).
ABSOLUTELY THE WORST.

I booked two Icelandair ticket through them and I got a cancellation notification less than 12 hours afterwards.
They didn't confirm the cancellation. They didn't issue an automatic refund. I spent 2 hours on the phone trying to get through some helpdesk. When I finally got through they wanted to charge me an "additional $30 to go ahead with the refund which would take 2-3 months to go through".
It's a scam. Stay away. And if you do, be prepared to ask your credit card company for a chargeback.
I booked a flight early this year through this bad company then with the pandemic uncertainties, I decided to reschedule the flight. I call them as apparently you need a voucher to rebook it. I was on the phone for 45 mins before finally I got through to someone. Then I got the information that they were not going to give me a voucher but I had to decide which flight to get (strictly with the same airline) and get back to them to book it. So I did, and again after 45 mins on the phone they told me I could have not taken the flight I decide on as it was another airline which was operating for Lufthansa. Then again, I go through the whole excruciating procedure till finally I get to know that there would be an handling charge of £30 to rearrange the flight.
Frustrated by the whole poor service I decide I wanted a refund BUT the refund comes with a cost too, £30.
I went online filled the form and its over two moths now and I am still waiting to receive my refund. I got an email saying my details don't match their database! Liars! I copy and paste the details from the original tickets.
One this is for sure... Mytrip will never have any booking from me at the cost of paying more some other companies.

I booked through them and the airline ended up canceling and sending through the refund. Of course, the refund went through to their cards but no one notified me that they received my money back or even processed my refund. Instead, they have kept my money for now 3 months and i have had to chase them up for my $1000.
I have spent hours on the phone trying to reach them and when i do they are useless, say different things each time and one even hung up on me! I am still chasing my money and waiting hours on the phone! Horrible service and just been a nightmare! Never use this place!
Ни при каких обстоятельствах не связывайтесь с этими обманщиками. Деньги они никому не возвращают ни при каких обстоятельствах. За любые изменения в резервации будут просить доплату. Они вообще тупо за все берут деньги. Дозвониться к ним невозможно. Я звонил неделю прежде чем удалось хоть с кем-то поговорить, и при этом никакой помощи я не дождался. Просто ужасный сервис.

This is the one of the most horrible experience we have had in our lives. NEVER BUY THROUGH THIS COMPANY! They cancelled our tickets and to rebook they force you to call them with hours and hours of waiting, on a phoneline to America at high cost that gets redirected to a callcenter in india. The calls often just get hung up in a very suspicious way. And the times you actually do reach someone the information is extremely unprofessional and inconsistent. They lie, and say things that then turn out not to be true. We have been trying to solve our situation now for more than a week in endless calls and it feels like their strategy is to tire people out enough so that they give up. I know it says 1 start, but honestly, they deserve negative! Spent over 40 hours on hold, with screenshots to prove for them to hang up on me or not do anything. They apparently cannot transfer to supervisors, but they stated they will talk to supervisors. That does not happen either. They won't provide anything in writing! They won't answer emails. I called and they told me to stop calling because they are limited staff, but yet they keep hanging up on me! They tell me I have to go through the airlines, but I paid them. The airlines said what this company has to do, and they wouldn't even do it! All they had to do was call and get a refund number. That is it, which they could have done on the phone. One call center says oh this team will handle, then when I speak to said team, they say it is another team who handles who I cannot speak to. WORST EVER!
These guys tried to charge me first the price difference when I tried to change a date, now my airline said they don't do that under the Covid-19 policy, they kept saying anyway that I have to do it- pay the difference which would be around 1000$ more! Then when I finally got them to contact the airline they admitted that I don't have to pay the difference of price but I need to pay the tax difference still close to $1000 when I asked them to send me the evidence on paper of that they disconnected! In the end I called my airline directly and they rebooked the whole flight for me without charging a $ extra for it. MYTRIP you absolutely SUCK! I hope that you will read this. I purchased a return flight to Vancouver through mytrip.com on the 8th March 2020. For a flight out from the UK on the 18th May returning on the 24th May. By the 15th May I had not heard anything from Mytrip regarding the flight, so i had to call them to check if the flight was still going ahead.
After calling them and being on hold for 45 minutes. I was told that that the flights were cancelled. I was also told that I would have to rebook the flights for a date prior to the 1st January 2021 and the booking had to be carried out before the flights were meant to take place (18th May) and i would have to pay any difference.
In addition to this, they would not privide me with any proof that the flights were in fact cancelled (email, etc)
I can imagine that a lot if people are in this situation and it is not fair! My Trip is not delivering on their goods and therefore customers are entitled to a refund.
Do not shop through My Trip or their parent company GOTOGATE! They will let you down and steal your money in times of need
Avoid this agency like a plague - you would NOT get any support in case you need anything other than turning up at the airport on the day.
Where do I start? I had a confirmed flight ticket booked for 6 June 2020 from Kolkata to London and the airline cancelled the flight. However, My Trip (or the airline) never notified me of the cancellation (and options available to me). When contacted 3 days before the flight, they gave me only one option to reschedule the flight but that would cost me the fare difference (guaranteed as airlines would increase prices after COVID-19 travel restrictions are relaxed). Additionally, My Trip would charge almost 4000 INR for "handling fees". When asked for a cancellation, they made me go around like a ping-pong ball from various departments of theirs (no email addresses or phone numbers are available in any of their multiple dodgy websites) and the airline. Finally, they agreed to cancel but not willing/able to tell me the amount that would be refunded. So both the options provided to the customers are unknown in terms of cost - a business like this should be brought to court in any civilised part of the world.
