I was trying to book my trip, always they put a price once you process it. All of a sudden a message comes telling you the price has increased! Of course it is a scam as I tried to to book from another browser... same thing happens
I only signed up to get a negative review on this company.
Flight cancelled due to COVID lockdown.
Took 2 hours to get someone from their CS to get the phone answered. Ask me to get in touch with the airline myself, fine, did that.
Call them again, 2hours later someone picked up the phone, want me to check with the airline again. Ok, called the airline second times, confirmed everything cancelled and done, can talk to the agency for the refund.
Another 2 hours on hold, a guy answered, no reference number, no time window on update time, well, nothing bascially.
If you WISH to get someone to answer your inquiry and actually help you on your inquiry, yeah, you WISH. After the experience with them, you will feel like you are actually the CS person instead of those who picked up your phone.
If someone suggests this company to you, trust me, remove him/her from your contact list.
Truly a GREAT experience.

This is the one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with and they have blatantly just taken money from us.
I booked flights to Portugal from the UK when Portugal was on the green list. I was worried about Covid so I paid almost £200 in cancellation coverage. The summary of what I paid was as follows:
£1249. 31 for flights
£329.94 for checked baggage
£114 for hand baggage
£27.43 for airline collapse cover
£170 for a Cancellation Guarantee
£215.92 for seat reservations.
Portugal went onto Amber and it was now UK government guidance not travel for holidays. And so I phoned up MyTrip thinking I could cancel the flights (as per the 10% insurance I had paid) and get my >£2000 back. That or at least just move the whole flight a year forward so hold onto everything and book a year out.
I should be so lucky. The whole set up with MyTrip is a scam. My only option after being on hold for hours with them (we had to call multiple times) will be to get about 20-25% of the total I paid in VOUCHERS with this horrible company! The rest of my money has all gone according to Mytrip and of course none of it is their fault.
I asked what the £170 for cancellation protection I paid for was for and they said that was for the 20-25% voucher I'm getting back...
The whole thing screams of a scam and I would warn anyone from using this company.
I have been back and forth for 15 hours between the agency and the airline and getting NOWHERE. They are refusing to give me back my credit voucher which is absolutely ridiculous because I am in a lockdown in Melbourne and cannot fly. They are lying, stealing thieves that do not care about you or your trip.
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS AGENCY AND DO NOT BOOK FLIGHTS THROUGH THEM
It was a tremendous mistake to book with them. Royal jordanian cancelled my flight to NY because of COVID pandemic. MyTrip got my refund and still holding it for 4 months. I have to file complaint at US DOT. They consumed a lot of my effort to reach out to them. Roughly, I spend what is total 6 hours on phone and still feeling they have stolen my money
Very bad company. My flight was cancelled without even knowing. One week before the flight they sent an email saying that the flight was cancelled and that they don't have any alternatives. I called and asked for refund than they decided to give me 3€ as a refund!
Wt*! You can beter go and buy your child an ice cream with this 3€. Very bad company and service. I don't recommend it to anyone.
I booked a flight for March 2021 and it was cancelled by airlines. Mytrip said that I will be getting a full refund and yet they said they won't ask AirAsia for a refund because AirAsia is a small airlines company and that I have to ask refund from them myself. So I did. And I waited for 7 months for Mytrip to contact me. 2 months ago I got curious and checked my refund status online and found that AirAsia refunded the money 5 months ago and Mytrip has been holding the money ever since. They are the literal definitions of travel agency scammers. I have called their customer service more than 7 times in the past 2 months and they keep saying that I will get my money back in 7-10 days. Please don't EVER use this website. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY.
We found a great deal on mytrip.com but the flights were cancelled because of COVID. Mytrip themselves offered a refund and then waited 8 months to process my refund while my partner is still waiting for hers. I believe the only reason I got my refund is because I contacted the ECC for help in Europe. If you are an European resident, I highly recommend contacting them if you've already tried every and any means possible with mytrip. I can't be sure this is what helped me get my money back but I definitely recommend. Spread the word. I will never use a 3rd party or travel agency to book a flight again. Awful customer service and blatant disregard in keeping any kind of loyal customers.
They don't even deserve a zero rating for the service they provide. I have been waiting since 8 months for my refund, they haven't still initiated my refund when airlines has confirmed I'm eligible for full refund. Mytrip is the biggest scam, customer representative says I'll have to disconnect the call cause I cannot resolve it and you've to unfortunately wait. Biggest lesson learnt always book tickets directly from the airline websites.
Absolutely horrendous. I wish I looked at their reviews before I booked with them. My flight kept getting cancelled because of COVID — whenever I would call them to reschedule they kept telling me that I had to contact the airline my flight was book through (Air Tahiti) after being on hold for two hours. This happened twice — I'm never using MyTrip ever again, and I suggest no one else does too
Do not use this online agency, My trip they are scammers from India, sometimes i called follow up a refund tickets and they put me on hold and then hung up. Two Times i called on a french number and they answered with an indian accent which is strange
When I received the confirmation email of my booking with the travel dates, I realized that my return date was incorrect. I called the airline directly and they had to cancel the flight since it was booked as a one way and was within the 24 timeframe. The airline refunded the return flight back to MyTrip to issue back to me. When I called MyTrip to follow up on the refund, they informed me that there is a $114.00 handling fee on all cancellations and changes regardless of it being done within the 24 hour time. This is completely unacceptable and I will never book through a third party site ever again. They did offer the possibility of waiving the fee if I emailed their customer service center. After 3 months of waiting, 3 follow up emails, I received two auto replies stating that their cancellation fee applies because of all the work they have to do to cancel the flight, that was already cancelled by the airline directly. This company is a joke.
My flight was cancelled by the air line and i lost my money because my trip kept my information and did not send to the air line. Run for these company.

This company (and I use that term loosely) is a complete scam! They charge a lot of fees and then don't do anything to help the customer. We paid for flexible tickets, COVID insurance, automatic check in (since we were going international) and then when we needed to call customer service we couldn't reach anyone. After 30 minutes on hold, your call is automatically disconnected. SIX phone calls later someone actually answered, couldn't understand anything they said (very thick accent and broken English) and they said they couldn't change the tickets. Long story short, RUN as fast as you can from this company and don't even bother to look back. I will NEVER buy from mytrip again and will also be contacting kayak.com which advertises rates for mytrip and let them know about this horrible company as well.
They are a horrible agency, the worst experience ever, my flights changed twice, my layovers were too long, I could do nothing about it because they would not pick up my calls therefore i had to deal with the mess because i had no option.
I tried calling them, they put you on hold for over 30min plus until you give up. Basically you will be frustrated and have no one to turn to or to complain to.
I even reached out to them again after one leg of my trip was done to give them feedback and if possible ask for my money back for my return ticket but alas no response.
Key learning, i am done with any 3rd party airline agencies, go to the airline directly, this was my first and last time to ever use any of those links you find on google to help you get flights.

Wait them 16 months and the kept £30 from the total amount that I have paid
They could not even find a solution for my ticket flight, they just told me they were going to send me an email and they didn't do anything helpful at all. Very bad service, last time I am ever booking with them, it's such a shame they still working on because just reading at the reviews no one is happy with this agency at all. I will try to make my complaint as many times as needed.
I paid £291 for return ticket to Turkey, cancelled by the airline and MYTRIP only refund me £189! Scammers!

This is really the type of sales an marketing organizations that ads nothing, just takes commissions and turns away when they need to deliver. Stay away!
