I am writing this review mostly to vent on my experiences. Good points: great concept, but theory doesnt match practice; Conversion for me was painless. Bad Points: Without exaggerating I estimate i have lost 20% of my clients during the time I have been with MyTaxPrepOffice. Problems have ranged from poor customer service (In 2017 and 2018 it was timely, but 2019 is ridiculous in terms of response. The online option is a joke waits of 20 plus minutes is not uncommon. The phone is similarly terrible) to inability to process various aspects of a tax return (Import of stock transactions didnt work in 2018, waited weeks for help with return of client who i lost for 2019. NO ONE COULD RESOLVE ISSUE IN OFFICE. Similar problem in 2019 with my first return when i tried to take Section 179 election for ONE ASSET, To this date the issue has not resolved. Despite 5 calls to customer service (?), research (?) and sales.). No one in customer service will follow up after talking with you, even when they promise to call back. Its a disaster for me since i left my old vendor in 2016. Oh forgot, 2019 state software not ready after 2 months. Unless they make major changes to its programming/quality, customer service, staffing(?) and raise price cos revenue collected is not funding an effective, viable operation. #prayforme

This program overall is better than ATX and Intuit. Problem seems to be in advocacy with the Rhode Island Division of Taxation particularly on business returns. There have been glitches each year, but for the 2019 returns the RI 1120S and RI 1065 still have not been accepted and the initial deadline of March 16 has past. Had to manually file RI 7004 Extension forms even though the federal returns were accepted. Customer chat has generally been very good but some staff should refer to tax analyst, not saying we should go back to the IRS. Will continue to use the program because overall it is excellent except for the glitches.
This software is easily accessible, very user friendly, and the price can't be beat for individual tax returns. I have been using this software since 2016 and I have yet to find another product that has cloud capability for the same value price as MyTAXPrepOffice.
The software is affordable for my small practice. They are constantly improving the software year to year, Looking at the proforma sample returns is helpful to see how the data flows. Technical support is decent in my experience.

This is my first year using this software and I am very pleased with all the useful features. The software is extremely useful during peak season because it has so many helpful features. I love the cloud system because I can access the software anywhere. I love the signature pad and the ability to send and receive information from the clients. I just love it and see a very long future with this company
MyTaxPrepOffice is the Best decision that I could have ever made because it is my dream tax software. I was seeking a tax software that was web based, had a built in portal for servicing my clients in a paperless environment and most of all no hidden fees and price gouging going into the next tax season.

I have been using this software for two years but have access to more than two years, this is real attention and accommodating to customers. This software is very smooth to navigate through, should I encounter any difficulty assistance is always right there and available.
I am in my 5th year using this software, and very pleased with its performance and affordability. In 18 years, I have gone from premium through middle of the road tax softwares, switched to this after two consecutive years of apologies from my prior software provider.
Initially, it was sometime different and somewhat difficult as you will expect with a new tax software program, but it gets increasingly easier to use with time. There are still a few commonly used forms that are not provided, but I am hoping they will get there in the years ahead. The customer service has immensely improved, no longer having to waiting two to three days to receive response after uploading returns for review.
Above all, "the price is right". I will recommend them to friends.
This is my 4th year with MyTaxPrepOffice. It gets better and better every year. Service is great. Very helpful.

This is my first year with you. It was a lot of work on my part to get everything set up from my old software. Thus far this tax season, it has been great! Suggestions for improvement is being able to print both filing and client copy at one time.
Would like to share that, I feel at ease and support by MyTAXprepOffice, after 3 yrs with another software company. MyTaxprepOffice are always available for support and there products are affordable and many of them included with price. My clients are happier, due to the friendly Portal and I see my self being able to work on a profitable year.

I have used MyTaxPrepOffice for over 5 years without any major issues. For example when I call i get a friendly, courteous and helpful voice and they will work with you until you get the answer you need to complete your task.
Couldn't open for 2 days and kept calling. Had to switch program and was told we would receive a refund. But now told that the price freeze will stay in effect. If it didn't work why would we continue with it? Would have lost money if we waited. Program just kept loading.
