This software is cheap and you definitely get what you pay for - cheap crap that doesn't work. Even worse, the customer support and service is atrocious. After spending less than 4 weeks with this software, I encountered numerous issues. The software was constantly crashing and not saving my work, my clients were complaining about the portal to upload tax documents not working, and the software itself is just tedious and not user-friendly at all. Finally, I decided to request a refund. I had to contact customer support 5 times to finally get a response, and after 4 days of waiting and 3 phone conversations, they denied my refund and cited their illogical return policy - even though their servers were malfunctioning and I never filed a single return. And to add insult to injury, customer service insulted me, basically called me a liar, and pretty much stole my money - which just shows you how desperate they are. If they really had a good product, they would not be so unwilling to give a refund when it is completely justified and the product was not used to file any returns.

Athena from MyTaxPrepOffice was a wonderful customer service representative to work with. I had a lot of questions that needed to be addressed and she never once seemed in a rush or upset with me. We spoke on the phone for about an hour and she was pleasant and a joy to speak with. More customer service representatives should strive to be just like her!

The software seems good so far. A bit buggy. A lot of state business forms are still in testing even though a previous software I've used has those states available. Would give a better score if I had an idea of when I would be able to file state returns.

I found this software to be hard to work with and was not able to trust the entries to calculate throughout the return. I found that I used up way too much time double-checking every calculation and every form to ensure that all of the entries flowed through. In addition, I had to call customer support many times for help and, while they were nice, it took a lot of time, and I mean a LOT of time, for them to assess the problem and come up with a solution. This software may look helpful to your checkbook at first, but once you realize you are spending twice as long in preparing the returns, not so much.

I routinely find 10 to 15 errors per year and I don't work for them. I should get paid from them. Obviously they do not test their product before rollout. The Tax Preparers are the guinea pigs. Agree with the guy about the real estate tax deduction. We put the correct number in the program and print the client's 2019 copy which looks correct. BUT their program did NOT e-file our correct real estate tax deduction to the IRS. So the client did not get all their refund entitled to. We had to amend for free so the clients get their proper refund back. I have to test their product with an off the shelf Tax software because I don't trust their program.

I would like to thank MyTAXPrepOffice and their employees. Great customer service and continuing advancement in tax preparation has helped me when I needed it. It has made my job a lot easier.

I have been preparing taxes (Tax Accountant) for many years both as an employee of the companies and as a self-employed person. I won't say how many years because you will guess my age, however I remember preparing personal returns without computers. I have worked in sales tax, payroll tax, income taxes: Federal and State & Local. I finally retired from corporate world and ventured out totally on my own as an Enrolled Agent. The first software company I used left me high and dry during tax season. I found MyTAXPrepOffice software and never looked back.

In my career I have used some of the top software companies to prepare sales tax, income tax and payroll taxes. I have spent many hours on the phone waiting to get results on return errors. Sometimes it took weeks to get an answer and sometime the answer was not correct. Every year the prices of tax software can go up by hundreds of dollars. MyTAXPrepOffice software is very reasonable in price and support has been great.

I am very happy with MyTAXPrepOffice and I will continue to use them in the future.

Not only did the software glitch horribly, miscalculate, and just didn't work at times, the customer service is horrible. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and wrote a review detailing my experience with this software. The Sales Manager (Maurice) called me bullying me to take down my review and threatening to cancel my software. I told him my review was an honest depiction of my experience with MyTaxPrepOffice, and that I most certainly, will not remove my review. Two days later, I logged into the software only to find the software I paid for in full on October 30,2020 was terminated without notice and without a refund of the money I paid to this company. I had to call, wait on hold again, because the hold time is horrible, only to find out my software (that I paid for in full) had been terminated because I would not give into their bullying and remove my review. This is the most unethical, unprofessional company I have ever encountered. Not only does the software not work, but the customer service is horrible.

I've been a customer of my Tax Prep Office Tax Solution Software for over five years.
There is not enough words or space to document my experience with the customer service that I received from Norma and Kristin CPA. And the entire staff is excellent. They have made my business practice successful competitive and because of that my clients are truly grateful. To me personally they are the trademark of excellence!

The program is very easy to go and has a lots of great features and Customer Service is very helpfun and friendly.

I'm very impressed about how the representative handled my situation. She carefully resolved all my concerns about this new tax software. Using this software for the first time.

I highly recommend MyTaxPrepOffice as a software tax prepares can use that will increase productivity. It's easy to use and easy to learn.
