Ms. Kachjae was awesome. She was so knowledgeable and professional. She is an excellent trainer and answered all my questions. What I liked the most about her training is the enthusiasm and excited of the product she was demonstrating. That told me she was proud of the product and she made learning the software easy. I am sure there will be hiccups in learning the software as with any new thing. But, she made me feel confident that I will love it once I start using it and practicing it for 2021. Plus, I loved the price especially after the hard year we had during 2020. Thank you for training and great customer service!

Felisha was very professional & thorough. Has excellent customer service skills. Instead of letting you off the phone once the problem was corrected she stayed on the phone line to ensure that the problem was in fact corrected & there would be no need to call back regarding that same issue again. She verified all my profile information & when errors found they were corrected and verified right then and there. She definitely is an asset to My Tax Prep Office, it's one of the reasons I refuse to change to another software provider. Please keep up your excellent customer/technical support

MyTaxPrep Office Software

I have found horrible customer service with this platform. At one time I waited 2 weeks to get an answer for a support question. When doing to chat you could be chatting for a half an hour before they finally get back to you... they are "trying" to service too many people at once. For the last two years I have had to correct them when doing mass and CT states together as they were doing them incorrectly. No thanks, No discount... no nothing. They need to train customers better on their software. They give you a very small virtual class that is pretty much useless. I have used them for 5 years or so, I was ok with rechecking my stuff to make sure they did it right for the price but in one year they went up $100. I hope for you they give more support and have all of their forms properly updated. Many Blessings and Much Love to you

I was contacted by a salesman from MyTaxPrepOffice who did nothing but talk me off about how great the software was and how comparable it was to Drake. The man sold me on the product based on his misleading and false description of the software. We actually have laws against deceptive business practices.

All season long I found several errors in the software. It wasn't calculating EIC, it wouldn't pro-forma proper information to worksheets, it was miscalculating, etc. Every single last return I completed in MyTaxprep had an issue that I needed support to fix. I actually lost a $750 return due to MyTaxPrep office failing to fix an error in the 1065 application for almost 3 weeks.

This software is NO WHERE near comparing to Drake, which is who I will be switching back to. This software is developed by someone who is not even familiar with the tax laws and codes. I have to amend several returns due to errors on MyTaxPrep office and they are not e-filing the returns yet giving a submission ID!

My client was fined a late fee for not filing their NY LLC return. MyTaxPrep office has a submission ID and accepted next to the client yet NYS says the submission ID only was attached to the personal NY return, not the LLC.

This is a complete nightmare and cost me more time and money that I thought I'd be saving. This is complete garbage and a waste of money.

Had a very good initial training session. Looking forward to be able to download 2020 returns to set up 2021 retruns.

As soon as I purchased the software, they had me schedule a call to help me setting up my firm and to make sure I am all set to do business.
Kachjae called me on the scheduled time and walked me through the setup, she explained everything and answered all my questions. The one hour was not enough for me since I had some files in different access so she scheduled another call for the next day because I could not stay longer that same day.
Next day she called on time and helped me transfer those over and assisted me with all other needs for setup. She was very patient with me and I am happy and ready to do business.

After using the same tax software for 10 years, I decided to switch and able to streamline processes.

I have been preparing returns for 10+ years with ProSeries. I don't do a lot of returns which makes ProSeries pretty expensive. I thought it was worth a shot to give MyTaxPrepOffice a try, since it costs much less. Well, you get what you pay for. It was difficult to use, not intuitive at all. I started with 2 returns, and idividual return and one 1102S. When I redid the 1040 return in ProSeries, I found that MyTaxPrep calcuated 1099-R penalties incorrectly for the Spose. I wasted a lot of time trying to learn it. I finally gave up and purchased ProSeries software for the current tax season. I was going to file the 1120S with MyTaxPrep, only because I reached the limit that I had in ProSeries, but it was nearly impossible. See the photo below. Where is the 1120S to file? I can't find it, nor can I find an answer in the help file.

I really wanted it to work. Very disappointing.

The support personnel are always helpful and they always fix any issue I have with my tax problems so I will always use them with any problems. Thanks for all of the help you provided this tax season.

The last admin was so helpful and knowledgeable, I really appreciate that kind of help.
Keep in mind that not all customer supporters are that great.

I started using this software this year. Every 2 years I normally change software because is is hard to find one that is price efficient and has great features. This software incorporates all the features I love into one company, it's super easy to apply for banking products directly through them so no separate applications and the price is very reasonable. As a Bonus, you can get someone from the support team on line in less than two minutes and they are knowledgeable about their product. I won't be looking for a new software anytime soon.

Bailey assisted me today and was extremely helpful. She was able to diagnose the problem and get me back up and running. She was very patient, knowledgeable, and most important... Persistent. Resolved the issue after 25 minutes. Great Experience. Mytaxprepoffice needs more "Baileys". Thank You again.

Mytaxprep help team is amazing... i have been a customer over 3 years, I recommend it to all small Tax preparer firms...
