My initial contact with MyTaxPrepOffice was with a pre-arranged call with the customer service rep, Brandon Davis, after I had downloaded a full working demo of the software. He literally walked me through all of the options available in the software. To say that I was completely blown away would be an understatement. He was extremely knowledgeable with the software, as well as tax preparation in general, and was certainly not a high pressure sales person.

After my purchase, I had over 4 hours of online one-on-one training, as well as getting my data files converted to My Tax Prep. Pete Mata, my instructor, was absolutely wonderful. He is also extremely knowledgeable with the software, as well as actual tax prep, and very patient with my endless questions.

I am so happy with my purchase. I felt one of the most important things to me was customer support if I have problems, and I believe their customer support will be right there when I need them.

After having worked with four different tax software applications, I truly believe that anyone who takes the time to look at the demo online will be blown away with all of the features and options available.

From my original sales call to my 1-to1 training, the representatives were very friendly and answered all questions and concerns in a professional manner. I am excited to make this change!

I used this software for 2021 tax season. I had many issues when i try to comunicate by phone with the managers. They are so rude and all time theirs answers is: "we do not advise for prepare taxes" but my quuestions all time concerns to problems with the software. The decided do not renovate with me but i paid for sevices for tax season 2021. They have not provide me support by phone so this is not a good process with the clients. I feel so furstrated. Anaybody knows regulations for this issuue.

Tameka was outstanding. Really was patient and helpful and making sure I understood all that was being done. Very knowledgeable and willing for questions. Just Great!

I have now used the application for one Season:

Pros:
- Having the application and data in the cloud was sweet.
- The phone service was decent. The representatives were very friendly.
- The program is easy to navigate, find errors and make corrections
- Transfer of data from Drake (my previous program) was easy and seamless

Cons:
- While the customer service people over the phone were very friendly, they were not as knowledgeable as the Drake customer service. I always felt like Drake "owned" my problem.
- The help over the chat feature was not good. I almost did some screenshots of the dialogue so I could laugh at them later.
- The biggest issue I had is with state returns – they need to checked carefully. I do many different states and this was a challenge for me. Interest dividends did not transfer over in many cases and misc income didn't transfer over sometimes.

Overall, I was satisfied. There were no disasters. I plan to stick with it for next year.

I switched from ProSeries to My TAXPrepOffice because it includes at no extra cost an integrated client portal, cloud-based storage, and a single standard user dashboard for all returns - the individual and business. Plus, the price is extremely competitive.

I had our second training session with T. Evans. She was very professional and knowledgeable to the software and how to navigate me through all the features. The software itself has a lot of features which will help streamline my workload and lesson it all together. Would highly recommend giving this software a fair shot.

Cons - As an accountant not being able to make payroll through this app is not the most ideal situation but heres to hoping that they will add payroll support later on down the line. HOWEVER, they do support filings of payroll returns such as 941,940, etc...

She is very knowledgeable and patient. We love her characters. She make sure we understand every step.

I've been using MyTaxOffice for over 6 years now and while an initial learning curve, it has been an intuitive and easy program to use. From time to time I've experienced issues with out of state returns arising from minor issues that I was not familiar with that MyTaxOffice technical service has always been able to assist me with. The price is right and the product and customer service has always been great.

Pete Mata was very thorough with showing me how to use MyTaxPrepOffice. He really took his time to break things down for me so I fully understood each tool and feature. He answered all of my questions and I am so happy that I got him as my trainer. I can now hit the ground running with confidence! Thank you!

I have been preparing taxes for over 30 years and have used many different tax prep softwares. I have been using MyTaxPrepOffice for 7 seasons now and couldn't be happier. They have improved the software each and every year. There support has always been able to resolve any issues I have had in a very timely fashion.

My customer support person was Teal. She was very professional and helpful in explaining how the portal works. As a result, my clients were helped and my efficiency went up.

I purchased software recently, however I got some hands-on experience with my previous tax prep firm, so I knew already that the software is rather cool for small-business preparer (self-employed or small firm). But the training I received just reinforced me in my opinion, that the software is able to meet my needs as tax preparer and also provides some extra features that are not usually provided by other SW. Absolutely recommend!

Excellent service, they give professional service and software really easy to use. Highly recommended.
