I like how the software had the one on one training. You can ask questions, get help on what you don't understand, a not be afraid to ask questions that you don't understand.

Excellent program, excellent support, it makes easier to stay in contact with your clients. And it is very affordable.

If you are new in the business of tax preparation - STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Their $795 pricing IS NOT WORTH IT.

Seasoned tax professionals will know the difference in using this software compared to other tax platforms out there. Heck - other platforms are A MILLION TIMES BETTER THAN THIS WEB-BASED SOFTWARE. Use TurboTax, TaxAct, or H & R Block --> these are just samples. I am not promoting them. These "simple" programs are a GAZILLION miles better.

If you are PLANNING to IMPORT tax returns, etc --> DON'T BOTHER! You will end up MANUALLY redoing EVERYTHING! If you decide to TRY them, double-check the NUMBERS. A lot of the calculations ARE WRONG! A lot of the REQUIRED forms that are supposed to AUTOMATICALLY activate DO NOT activate OR ARE MISSING.

As I said, a lot of REQUIRED forms ARE NOT AVAILABLE even if it is REQUIRED! When you call for SUPPORT - you will NEVER get a resolution. Most of the support requests I filed, ended up nowhere!

Whenever you call them, MAKE SURE TO RECORD THE CONVERSATION. And repeat their comments ESPECIALLY if you know that it's a violation of any rules. They LIE A LOT. They make promises just to get you off the phone from the SUPPORT CALLS. Of course, WHEN YOU RECORD - you definitely need to tell them that you are recording your conversations. YOUR RECORDING IS THE ONLY WAY TO PROTECT YOU from their LIES AND LIMITATIONS

Bottom line:
1. Stay away from them
2. Their cheap price will cost you MORE in the end
3. Make sure that ALL your communications with them ARE RECORDED (by email or record your phone calls)

PROS: Very reasonable price in comparison to other tax software. Love that the software is cloud-based. Love the new interview mode. Love how the price includes 1065, 1120, 990, etc., and customers love the client portal app to review and sign their returns. CONS: Still very glitchy, often have to either recalculate, reload the application, or exit a form and go back in but, no software is perfect so not a deal breaker. Last, support was good but not great; definitely support could and should be improved.

Help me solve trouble with income tax credit. Very good help. I recommend him as a very good helper.

I use tech support too much, for which I am sorry. Having said that, MTOP rocks! I have been doing taxes for 45 years and have never had such helpful, knowledgeable, competent and courteaus support. I am a better tax prepare because of it and cannot tell you that over the past four years, they have done their job in spades. Thank you so much for this experience. Best money I have spent on tax software and I have had a few. Thanks.

This is my second year using my tax prep office and I like the user friendly and the portal for my clients, I wish it integrated with QBO, but I feel like it does a pretty sound job.

I have just switched over from using ProPlan after many years. I completed a Help Session with Bailey at and couldn't be more satisfied. She was highly knowledgeable, professional and pleasant, and clearly knew her software. She was persistent about resolving all errors while she clearly explained what she was doing. She also gave me many helpful tips as we navigated through the program. This was a terrific Help Session - thank you, Bailey!

I started using MyTAXPrepOffice in May 2022. Before that, I had used another major commercial tax preparation software for over 10 years. I switched to MyTAXPrepOffice because of several features included at no additional charge, including 1) cloud-based returns storage and 2) a client portal that allows clients to submit most if not all of their documentation and review/e-sign tax return remotely. And all of that at an extremely competitive price.

He went above and beyond to help me as a new customer. He was very professional in all my interactions with him.

This software has come along away and would definitely recommend it. The only thing I would like if they had customer service you can actually talk to instead of only chatting or submitting a ticket.

Rafael Rodriguez was amazing in assisting me with the setup of my program. He is very patient and informative. Transferred clear information. I give him all the stars.

I have received excellent customer service. A single password is all I need to use this cloud based software.I am beginning my fifth year of using MyTaxPrepOffice

We have being using this software since 2017 and we have noticed it has improved a lot; however sometimes it still freeze. I have to recognize chat support has improved a lot.
