The software is a strong value at the price range charged. Compared to other vendors, several of the big ger-name tax software vendors have more bells and whistles in their software but they are significantly higher in price range.
Staff respond when you have issues within hours. Expectation is to have communications as to when IRS has paid customers through direct deposit. Yes, preparer is inform when IRS has accepted but filers have to pursue when they are paid.
As an Intuit/ProSeries user, I find that the navigation requires some getting use to. I feel MYTAXPREP Office has great potential, however, there were issue in which the calculation of states individual tax return did not compute correctly, I had to revert back to my old Proseries to get the correct calculation.
The software navigation does requires some getting use to. As a 30+ years user of Proseries, I was somewhat reserved on solely relying of MYTAXPREP software, and had to consumed a great deal of time communicating with tech support. Overall, I feel the software, has the potential to become a good choice, but requires more navigation learning, and that something that I would not recommend right in the middle of tax season. However, it price point was not bad.

They have engineers that are making these changes. I have been using this software since COVID in 2020. I am very pleased and satisfied user.
