SCAM AVOID AT ALL COSTS

In September 2015 my 16 year old son "signed up" for this thinking it was free. When he then printed his resume he thought this was a once off fee so I provided him with my credit card details.
In November 2016 my son was murdered and I have found out that "MyRipOffResume" has been charging me USD$35.80 per month for a service he used once!
Despite numerous emails requesting they cancel the subscription I am continuing to be charged for this service.
I would never recommend this company to anyone!

I decided to have a look at the web site and created a resume then selected the print option. You then get to a page to pay $2.95 to print the resume - this is clearly visible.

However in the fine print below the heading "Need to Cancel? No Problem" there is one line that states"Unless you cancel, you authorize us to charge you every four weeks at the then current rate." This line is buried among some other text and IS NOT HIGHLIGHTED in any way to bring it to your attention. I can easily see how my son thought he was paying a one-off charge to print his one page resume.

NOWHERE on the page does it say you are subscribing to a service - in fact it clearly shows "Total Due Today $2.95" and "Get Your Resume".

NOTE the charge is every 4 weeks NOT once a month so they even try to get 13 payments a year from you rather than 12.

Horrible!

Never ever try to use perfectresume.! I was charger 35.80$ after 1.17$ for international charges! For whatttt? And 2.95$

To check how your resume is looking you can use our Resume Check program that searches for specific keywords that companies search for and give him some tips and suggestions!
We also offer tools that review the design and content of your resume as well as provide a series of tools like Interview Videos, Job Search and tips on every aspect of the interview process. Looks like I've fallen for a SCAM. Asked the a few months back to stop my subscription and stop taking money from my account, and guess what? No acknowledgement and they keep taking the £20 odd from my account!

These guys advertise themselves as "Build Your Perfect Resume for Free!". Sounds great!
I've spent an 2 hours creating my resume on this site and was disappointed when I saw in the end that you can`t do anything with it without paying them money.
Its a cheatimg, coz they are luring us to get filled all our details and after all these efforts they are telling to pay if we need to download this document.

Desperately, we will be compelled to give into their temptations
LIARS!
Maybe it`s ok to pay, I don't mind, but it looked really dodgy that they don't have a paypal payment option. I decided to Google them and found out that these guys are not only lying in their advertisement but also cheating with payments and cancellations! I`m really disappointed as I have wasted my time. Now I cant do anything with the resume, just print screen...

Spent a long time to create a "Free" Resume (BTW stop saying it is free that is complete BS. Once I finished the resume was not free and they wanted 3 dollars to print/view it. After being upset that I wasted my time i gave in and paid the fee. The resume was $#*! it is impossible to edit to make it your own especially since you can only edit in sections instead of while viewing the whole document. Not pleased with the product that they promised/provided i decided to cut my losses and I manged to use a Microsoft Word Template to complete my new updated resume.

THIS ALONE SHOULD WARN YOU TO NOT USE THIS SITE OR PRODUCT. ONCE AGAIN I WAS NOT PLEASED WITH THEIR PRODUCT SO IT WAS NOT EVEN WORTH THE 2 DOLLARS THEY INITIALLY TRICKED ME INTO SPENDING OR THE HOUR THAT I SPENT WORKING ON A SUB PAR RESUME THAT I DID NOT USE.

To make matters worse I get charged 35.80$ subscription fee I did call them and ask for a refund (I will say the customer service rep that i talked to was patient and respectful.) They said they would send me an email within 24 hours about my refund request. This did not comfort me because based on the other reviews I have a feeling my request will be denied. Lets hope I am wrong. I have little to no faith in this company doing the right thing. At the very least the company should at least give me a retroactive refund for the part of the subscription that I did not use (been only two days). But once again I have little faith in that happening as well.

Working with this company was a completely disappointing and energy draining experience that will have you walking away with a sub par product (if any) and a lot less money.

I'm so mad I could spit nails! One time fee $2.95 my a**. Just took a look at my checking and they charged me $35.50! Called the company and the lady said there was no direct line to her boss. Her boss must be God because he is the only one I know that does not have a direct line! Don't do it they rip you off!

Just like many businesses these days this company have completely scammed me. We are human just like those running this fraud. I have been charged 40 pounds by this company even though I only used there service once costing me only around 3 pounds which was made obvious on the CV page. I have now tried to cancel my account and get a refund but I have yet to get an email regarding my refund and the only email about cancelling my account had a phone number on it I was told to call. Tried phoning it multiple times and it is obviously a fake number. Do not trust this company.

If anyone knows how I can cancel my account please let me know as soon as possible. I do not want to be charged again.

This company lures you in with their low rate and then in print you never read charge you 34.95 a month and if you don't check your cc statement closely you go on paying for months and never use it. These people are crooks. I asked for a refund as I never used it and they would not issue on except for the month I cancelled in. I work for class action lawyers. I just may start a case.

Used the service once, received the CV and was so dissappointed I went off and created something better in MS Word in half the time... then came the REAL pain, charged 23.80 for using it despite having called and cancelled THEN charged 23.80 again the next month... RIP OFF

Complete and utter scam - still trying to get them to stop debiting funds. Misleading from the very start, which my plain language below is not.

DO NOT AUTO-RENEW - CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION!

Please confirm that this never wanted subscription is cancelled and will NOT auto renew in 2016. An email in March 2015 was sent advising I had not wished to auto renew that year, and I definitely do NOT wish to again. (Reference Number LTK*******268X). Please respond and confirm my Visa will NOT be debited again.

My perfect cv is a SCAM

This company is a CON. No where did I agree for them to take out £23.80 from my account! Scamming bastards! This company is a load of $#*!, they advertise themselves as FREE when you have to pay for the cv template at the end and then once they've got your details they take more money out and say you agreed to it! Do not use this website!

The free account gives you the ability to try out the Resume Builder to get a feel for how it works, and see what it has to offer before deciding to purchase. There is no cost to TRY it out. At this time we do offer free text (. Txt) download of your resume. But if you would like a professionally formatted version you need to subscribe. We also explain that the subscription is auto-renewing. We state this on every page in the purchase process and we send a payment confirmation email stating the date and amount of the auto- renewal. We do offer several ways to cancel including by phone, live chat, email and self-cancellation in your Account Settings.

I needed to send my resume to someone and I needed to do it fast so I put all of my info in and printed ONE copy of a ONE page resume. I agreed to pay a small ONE TIME fee to access this service. This morning I find a 35.80 charge on my debit card that I never authorized! Why would anyone pay this? Now they can't guarantee they will credit it back. I am not even looking for a job I have had the same job for 30 years, I HAVEN't needed a resume since college. I am so sorry I ever got involved with this company-DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CC INFORMATION.
