It appears my complaint is the same as everyone elses here. Be careful of this company. Very misleading! I got scammed like everyone else did. 2 things, a) was told my resume was horrible at interview and b) don't tell me to have a nice day directly after ruining it.
They told me I had to pay 2 dollars and they've debited my account twice now for $30. They dont even ask you if you'd like to sign up to their website. I literally thought that I was paying like 2 bucks for a resume so at first I thought it was great. Then I noticed they charged my account 35.80 and nowhere did I ever sign up for a membership. NOT FREE! 1- the website charged me and didnt recognize payment, so I wasnt able to download the document I worked on for the past couple hours, 2- the only thing available that is free is a TEXT document that is useless to anyone needing to create a resume 3- I have now received an email after requesting a refund that I will be contacted in 2 days time, we'll see what happens. I signed up for your website and was offered the $2 fee to print a resume. Nowhere that I read did it say that I would be charged $35 a month afterwards and even if I missed it, I still did not receive ANY emails or messages stating that a membership had started and that y'all had began to take money from my account. Y'all also charged me twice in one month. And then your company rejected my refund request. All I am asking is for AT LEAST ONE MONTH REFUND I am a struggling college student and the only job I have pays minimum wage so I either want a refund or I will take this to court and make it a bigger problem than it already is. They have been charging me for the last two months even though I cancelled back in January. I have made multiple calls to customer service and every time they tell me they put in a refund request to get my charges refunded and that someone from their "refund department" will contact me within two days. Nobody has EVER contacted me, even after multiple calls and emails.

This website is a SCAM! It preys on college students and unemployed. My daughter was unaware of monthly $35.80 fee until the bank called us! First the website lures you by telling you to create your resume for free, then when you create you cant print it until you pay. It it says unlimited access for $2.95 for 14 days. Yes it does say you will be charged if you dont cancel in 14 days but I am guessing from all the complaints that most people are unaware of this. These kind of subscriptions should be Illegal. She never used the website after the initial time and they will only refund 3 months. She was charged for 6 months in total of which she never signed in to the website. She is a college student and cannot afford this but obviously MY perfect resume does not care - they only want to tell me it says it in their terms and conditions. If they were a reputable company they would refund the entire amount based on the fact it was not used and she didnt realize she was being charged. Maybe you should consider changing your policy so that you have to opt in to the subscription instead of opting out?

I never got an e-mail asking me to opt out of any service. I did a one time transaction and was not expecting that this fraudulent company will withdraw $35.80 without my consent. They lied that they will refund me but they never did.

Even when you read through every term (of which there are many) nowhere does it state that you will have a reoccurring fee of $35.80 until you call to cancel your "subscription." This website is a shame. I was only requesting a one time use only for 1 euro29 in February and I was charged 29euros today, 3 months after for a subscription I have never asked. When I tried to chat with one of their customer representative, Hector, he was very rude told me to contact my bank and then closed the chat without notice. I used this site once to make a resume a year ago. After using this site they automatically signed me up for a membership and have been taking fees out of my account that I used to pay for my resume. I had no idea until I was going through my bank app. After I addressed this with the company they pretty much let me know to read the fine print. If you want to be stolen from, use this site. Just like some other reviews, I have to agree this website is a scam. Upon completing my resume with them I paid a fee of $2.95. I am not one who wants a "membership" with online services such as this one, and when I read the fine print, stating a monthly fee of $30 something dollars would be automatically withdrawn from my account, I immediately wanted nothing to do with it so I canceled. Unfortunately, money was taken out yesterday (nearly 3 months after I initially started the process. I had to go back in and cancel it. When I called customer service this morning, they said I only canceled it yesterday and there was nothing they could do. I clearly had not been active with my account, but he said there was nothing they could do. Avoid this website if you can.

Answer: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I am a very organized person who worked for the state that I reside in as an investigator. I had an injury and had to make a change in my career. I am very careful about getting pulled into scams, however, I felt that this would be a good opportunity to build a resume and cover letter that was more updated than when my original resume that I wrote years ago. First of all, the templates are not free. After spending a long period of time writing the perfect resume, I only had the option of spending $2.99 to have access to the resume/cover letter. I felt that was a reasonable fee for the use of the template. As I stated, I am very organized and manage my finances very well. I made sure that I went into my account and cancelled by subscription after 5 days of use so that I would not be charged the $29.99 for the month. Today, I checked my checking account and sure enough the $29.99 had been deducted. I immediately called customer service and they stated that my cancellation had not gone through and they had no notification of my cancellation. They were willing to give me back only $14.00 of my $29.99 back and then went on trying to sell me more offers. I was extremely angry and then spoke with a supervisor. He also argued that I had not cancelled. I went through the same steps to cancel my account while the supervisor was on the phone with me. Low and behold the cancellation went through! Obviously, this company has set up the cancellation process to fail and you will be charged the $29.00 anyway. I definitely learned my lesson! I had to threaten to have my attorney to get involved due to this company stealing money from my account before they agreed to reimburse my full $29.00. They could not give me a refund confirmation number for the remaining reimbursement. I as a Social Worker who advocate for people could not conscientiously could not write a review to warn people of this scam.
