I have just noticed on my account that these thief's have stolen four lots of £23.80 of my debit card without any authorisation keep well away from this company and police have been informed of this theft and said they have heard of this company whatever you do please do not give them any of your details.
Used this service in order to save time while finishing up my graduate thesis and search for a job. Payed the I ritual trial fee and canceled the service after I downloaded the resume I built using their templates. The issue was that I never received and email for the intial transaction or the cancellation of service, but my account on the website said it was going to expire in March so I did not push the matter any further as the initial fee was a miniscule amount which I was glad to pay. Now three months later I noticed on my bank statement that they have been charging me roughly $51 (CDN) per month without notification or an electronic receipt. I promptly cancelled the service again and contacted customer service. They said their only proof of cancellation was the action I had taken June 2, and gave a very lazy response saying that they send emails out every time an account is cancelled. That is fair, if it was a mistake on my part to cancel I can accept that. What I don't accept is taking them payment without notification of a transaction or electronic receipt. If that was the case I could have corrected the issue back in March. I have reported this to the proper authorities in Canada and the US and my bank will block all future transactions from this company.
Future users beware. I don't recommend this service, but if you do, use it wisely and contact your bank and have them block any transactions from this company.

It is sad that this company's prey are those seeking employment or new opportunities to better themselves. I did pay the 20.00 from my credit card for a resume review which was done although not very helpful and definitely not by an expert of any kind... most likely it is a computer generated email providing canned advice, which is exactly how it reads. I was charged 28.00 on my debit card, without any authorization or notification, for an ongoing subscription which allows me to...? Have my resume reviewed again? We will see how they respond when I demand a refund... from the looks of this site, I will receive another computer generated, scripted response. It is sick what people like this do. I have no doubt card numbers will need to be changed after reading the experiences others have had with these low, low people. Sick.

I signed up for their resume service but have been attempting to cancel their service for over 5 months now. When I write to customer service I am told that they can't find my email address associated with an account even though it shows under their general settings. I recently filed a complaint with the Pennsylvania Attorney Generals office in an attempt to get money reimbursed and to have them stop billing my credit card. DO NOT sign up for this service. They will not stop billing you once they have your credit card information.

Further to the review I posted below, Myperfectcv has since contacted me and reimbursed me of the £23.80 charged to my account. Whilst I wish this whole episode had not taken place they were quick respond to my complaint, for which I am grateful.
My son needed a cv in a hurry. He logged on and registered onto this 'free' site. He had problems with the formatting, extra lines he could not get rid of and the clock was ticking away. When it requested a fee of £1.95 we paid, believing it was now pay on demand and effectively he was held hostage and becoming desperate for the document. On download we realised the formatting errors were present in the document and had to keep jumping in and tweaking and downloading to align the data in the columns. We made do. I have since gone in and made adjustments, jumping in and out of the template and downloading to see the end result. I have been charged £23.80! Not acceptable at all!

I was able to get a 3 month refund back from these slimy jackasses. Too bad they'd been charging me for almost a year! These guys are horrible for taking advantage of young people who don't have experience in making resumes. They should be ashamed of themselves. They claim to have a 14 day membership for $2.00 but they don't tell you that once it's over they'll charge you for a full subscription! I used it once and who knows how much money I paid for the stupid resume builder. It isn't even that good! It's a basic resume builder you could get from a Microsoft Word template. What a waste.

I paid around $2.00 to get 14 day access for my resume. NOWHERE do they tell you they charge you $30 dollars when they sign you up for they're full subscription after its over (they make it unaware to you that they sign you up for a full subscription after your trial). The fact that they "care" about giving great customer service is a lie as well. I used myperfectresume once during my 14-day access, and I called customer service for a refund for the month i didn't use it, which they wouldn't give me. I have filed a fraud complaint with my credit card company for UNAUTHORIZED charges, as well as filed a complaint to the Federal Bureau of Investigative Internet Crime. They should think twice before scamming people, and they should be shut down.

Used free trial to build a resume for my teenage daughter and now see they are deducting a regular amount of money from my credit card. So sick of dishonest scammers like this. So far I have paid $400 and received absolutely nothing as I don't use the service. DO NOT USE

After calling in to customer service twice,
Two of their reps could not get the formatting correct.
There is an extra blank line under two of my work history entries--and no blank line
Under the others.
The resume does not look uniform.
If I'm paying for a resume builder, I should AT THE VERY LEAST expect it to format it and not spend hours of my own time trying to remove a mysterious blank line; and then be told by two representatives that they tried a few things and could not remove that extra blank line.
The last rep I spoke with told me he was sending the issue in. However, I've had 3 interviews now, and handed in this resume that looks "almost right," when the very position I'm seeking demands of me to be detail-oriented. They will expect me to hand them a resume that looks visually uniform and consistent.
The reason I looked into myperfectresume to begin with was because I didn't want to have headaches over formatting my resume.

This website is not a free account, It allows you to make a resume and after all that time it tells you in order to download your resume you need to pay $3, and now i was charged $30, with no email notification or anything. Really hoping to be refunded as soon as possible, or I will have contact the police. Scam website, DO NOT USE. SO RIDICULOUS AND DISSAPOINTING. These people need to make their own resumes and get a job and earn money rather than stealing from others. So sad what people would do to others to get money.

Why wasn't my review printed? You weren't successful in ripping me off, that's why! I didn't read your reviews until after I had done my resume and authorized the payment of $2.95. Once I saw what crooks you are, I cancelled my credit card. You people have more nerve than a bum tooth! It is unbelievable to me that you actually print these negative reviews (except mine) and you are STILL IN BUSINESS! How is this even possible? I see some people think your resumes are crappy, but I disagree. I saw nothing wrong with your format but it is disappointing to find out that you mislead people who are looking to better themselves. Answer: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I am a very organized person who worked for the state that I reside in as an investigator. I had an injury and had to make a change in my career. I am very careful about getting pulled into scams, however, I felt that this would be a good opportunity to build a resume and cover letter that was more updated than when my original resume that I wrote years ago. First of all, the templates are not free. After spending a long period of time writing the perfect resume, I only had the option of spending $2.99 to have access to the resume/cover letter. I felt that was a reasonable fee for the use of the template. As I stated, I am very organized and manage my finances very well. I made sure that I went into my account and cancelled by subscription after 5 days of use so that I would not be charged the $29.99 for the month. Today, I checked my checking account and sure enough the $29.99 had been deducted. I immediately called customer service and they stated that my cancellation had not gone through and they had no notification of my cancellation. They were willing to give me back only $14.00 of my $29.99 back and then went on trying to sell me more offers. I was extremely angry and then spoke with a supervisor. He also argued that I had not cancelled. I went through the same steps to cancel my account while the supervisor was on the phone with me. Low and behold the cancellation went through! Obviously, this company has set up the cancellation process to fail and you will be charged the $29.00 anyway. I definitely learned my lesson! I had to threaten to have my attorney to get involved due to this company stealing money from my account before they agreed to reimburse my full $29.00. They could not give me a refund confirmation number for the remaining reimbursement. I as a Social Worker who advocate for people could not conscientiously could not write a review to warn people of this scam.
