Signed up in November and had done a cv for a one off payment without knowing that in the small print I am being charged £23.30 a month and this being 8 months its a bit ridiculous. I received no written warning about this or any sort of alerts.

As well as this the cv didn't even convert well and looked awful once converted.

This is undoubtedly helpful to build a perfect resume, I was so irritated just because of the money deduction. But, they refunded the amount of course not the full amout, out of 1753 Indian rupees i received 1600 rupees, but its fine,, i am certainly happy! I would definitely recommend people this site to build resume but should be careful regarding the montly subscriptions.

This site gives you the tools you need you produce a high quality resume. It helps you organize your work history and schooling. I never thought to include my recreational activities and hobbies, but they reminded me to include them in my resume. When I cancelled the membership they were very professional and helpful. I created a really nice resume with this site that was well worth the $4 it cost, but I forgot to cancel within the initial trial period and ended up paying a very high recurring monthly payment. I was pretty mad, but my customer service rep Xavier was very helpful and polite and helped me resolve my problem.

The resume generator was user friendly and the customer service was great, when I called to get a refund of the yearly dues. The only think I could recommend, is to make sure that the automatic yearly fee is well understood. You should email prescribers BEFORE the auto payment to remind them to cancel if they don't want to be billed.

I am "archaic" at best, generally, speaking. So, getting back into the workforce via stepping into "new-age" technologies, techniques, and technicalities is "TIRESOME". I get all the people that feel they have been ripped off. But I have used this service twice now. I looked at some other sites this time but didn't care for the way they looked. This time I had a problem with the way the spacing was between my jobs (which were 14 in 40 years) and between the bullet points. Also some of the bullet point letters were 2 different sizes that I could not correct. So I looked under help and it said to call (7 days a week which is generous and till 9 pm my time) which I did. First of all I got someone right away who was an American in San Francisco his name was Rafael Santana he was thankful I was using My Perfect Resume and very apologetic that I was having a problem and said he would fix it. Rafael spent about an hour correcting the problem of the spacing and explained how I could correct the two different size letters which I did after hanging up. It did not correct the spacing between the bullets so I called the next day. This time I spoke with Rafael Vazquez and he said that he would fix the problem and was also thankful for using the My Perfect Resume and apologetic for my having a problem. He spent about 45 minutes getting it fixed and I was not charged a dime either time. The first time (2 years ago) I used this site they charged me $20-25 dollars but can't remember the exact amount. This time the charge was $3 dollars. If you are looking for $0 dollar output maybe it's not for you. But if you want a great looking resume and help if you have a question or problem look no further in my opinion. Good luck.

Spent a couple hours building a resume after already having had some bad experiences with other sites. Lo and behold, this site didn't tell me I'd have to PAY for the ability to print/email my resume until AFTER I'd finished these hours of work.
No, I'm not giving you my money for that. I'll be alerting as many people as I can to stay away from this site. I'm typing my resume out into a word processor and using that file instead.

Answer: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I am a very organized person who worked for the state that I reside in as an investigator. I had an injury and had to make a change in my career. I am very careful about getting pulled into scams, however, I felt that this would be a good opportunity to build a resume and cover letter that was more updated than when my original resume that I wrote years ago. First of all, the templates are not free. After spending a long period of time writing the perfect resume, I only had the option of spending $2.99 to have access to the resume/cover letter. I felt that was a reasonable fee for the use of the template. As I stated, I am very organized and manage my finances very well. I made sure that I went into my account and cancelled by subscription after 5 days of use so that I would not be charged the $29.99 for the month. Today, I checked my checking account and sure enough the $29.99 had been deducted. I immediately called customer service and they stated that my cancellation had not gone through and they had no notification of my cancellation. They were willing to give me back only $14.00 of my $29.99 back and then went on trying to sell me more offers. I was extremely angry and then spoke with a supervisor. He also argued that I had not cancelled. I went through the same steps to cancel my account while the supervisor was on the phone with me. Low and behold the cancellation went through! Obviously, this company has set up the cancellation process to fail and you will be charged the $29.00 anyway. I definitely learned my lesson! I had to threaten to have my attorney to get involved due to this company stealing money from my account before they agreed to reimburse my full $29.00. They could not give me a refund confirmation number for the remaining reimbursement. I as a Social Worker who advocate for people could not conscientiously could not write a review to warn people of this scam.
