I had an excellent customer service agent. She helped me cancel my subscription and get a smaller package that was affordable for me. She was polite, but not pushy and seemed to know what she was doing when she asked me to look in my email for confirmation of the transaction. It made things much easier than I thought it was going to be. I was sure I was going to get into an argument with their customer service and I didn't. I was delightfully surprised!

I just want to say if your like me and know nothing about formatting or writing a Resume this is a Five Star Company. I lost them, found them and I'm using their services for a second time. They give you the best price, and the Gentleman Ener actually stayed on the phone and helped me with the format and taught me things. I called a second time back as I has too many spaces and a gal helped me. These reps are very pleasant and helpful. I will make sure this time I keep them on at least a month longer. You never know when you need to edit things and folks if you try to do this kind of stuff in Office or Word you have to be a computer wiz. This company and these folks get you through it fast. It also explains, that you can cancel at any given time. This alert is also given when the credit card information is requested where it explains that, unless you cancel, you automatically authorize us to charge your account every four weeks at the current rate of the subscription.
Lastly, when you finish your enrollment process, an e-mail is sent explaining this as well.

They first charged me $1.95, then $34.95. This was not advertised. When logged in, you cannot find what plan you are on, or how much money they will charge per week/month.
I went through the signup again, and indeed in the fine print you can see the first 14 days are $1.95, then $24.95 per 4 weeks. That is not $34.95, so apart from tricking you with a weird payment plan, they also overcharge you by $10.
I have to say an email asking for a refund was answered, and the person stated a refund would be issued. Refund of $32.95 was indeed issued today (9/30). I did notice that there were 2 charges, for $32.95 and $0.65. The latter seems to be some transaction fee as it is a european company probably.

My perfect resume website charged me even after I cancelled my account with them with in the trial period. I can't even log back into my account now and they charged me with membership fee. What a joke!

11 months ago I helped my brother with his resume. His English is poor so I decided I will make it and pay for it with my card since it was only $3. About 3 weeks ago I realised that they had been charging me membership for the last 11 months. I am absolutely disgusted that I ended up paying over $500 for a resume. The company won't refund the full amount so I decided to take my case Queensland Fair Trading and subsequently to small case court.
I wouldn't trust them if I were you!

Resume setup was free. You must sign up for the service and pay to print. Monthly fee after free trial seem to be high. Need to have a one-time print fee.

Awesome for building a resume, I used it just to build a basic one. This service was very helpful! However, I would notify the consumer that there is a fee for printing / downloading prior to starting. Felt like "a catch" to go through all the work then find out that it is not a free service. However, for the cost of the resume, it was worth it since I got the job I was applying for. Loved also that I could use and cancel up to 2 weeks after signing up. I would use again and recommend to a friend.

Answer: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I am a very organized person who worked for the state that I reside in as an investigator. I had an injury and had to make a change in my career. I am very careful about getting pulled into scams, however, I felt that this would be a good opportunity to build a resume and cover letter that was more updated than when my original resume that I wrote years ago. First of all, the templates are not free. After spending a long period of time writing the perfect resume, I only had the option of spending $2.99 to have access to the resume/cover letter. I felt that was a reasonable fee for the use of the template. As I stated, I am very organized and manage my finances very well. I made sure that I went into my account and cancelled by subscription after 5 days of use so that I would not be charged the $29.99 for the month. Today, I checked my checking account and sure enough the $29.99 had been deducted. I immediately called customer service and they stated that my cancellation had not gone through and they had no notification of my cancellation. They were willing to give me back only $14.00 of my $29.99 back and then went on trying to sell me more offers. I was extremely angry and then spoke with a supervisor. He also argued that I had not cancelled. I went through the same steps to cancel my account while the supervisor was on the phone with me. Low and behold the cancellation went through! Obviously, this company has set up the cancellation process to fail and you will be charged the $29.00 anyway. I definitely learned my lesson! I had to threaten to have my attorney to get involved due to this company stealing money from my account before they agreed to reimburse my full $29.00. They could not give me a refund confirmation number for the remaining reimbursement. I as a Social Worker who advocate for people could not conscientiously could not write a review to warn people of this scam.
