I really love the myperfectcoverletter service, it made writing cover letters a breeze and this is something that I used to despise and dread. I am out of work right now and couldn't afford the high monthly cost. I called customer service and they were very friendly and worked out a service plan that met my budget. I've called about 3-4 times within the past week. I was trying to update/edit my resume but then I seen a minor error on my resume. The last time I called and explained my concern with Jonessa, she understood what was going on. She went above and beyond to make sure my resume was PERFECT. Waits until you are completely done making your resume before telling you you need to pay to download it unless you download in plain text which is utterly useless. Once you pay to download it, the format looks horrendous and is unable to be edited either online or on word. Customer service wastes your time trying to sell you on a clearly nonsense subscription. If I could give this company negative stars, i would. Dont waste your time or money.

I tried this resume builder last year, and it was great it let you chose a lot of very original and professional templates also you can add sections that are already typewrite accurate and impressive. I pay for the trial around only 4 bucks and canceled on time so they didn't charged me every month. I'm switching jobs now and I had it to make an update on my resume; but on site they were going to charge me $25 so i called costumer service and Abi big kuddos to her got me the deal of 3.95 again so now I just have to cancel on time my monthly fees.

I was contacted by an organization and sent them my version of a resume but they wanted a chronological resume which if I had to do myself would have taken 2 days.

I did a friend a favor by doing a resume for her, I found a site and it said www.myperfectresume.com/free resume -(or something close to that) We spent the time made the resume and then came the bit about credit card and 14 day trial membership (did not see the fine print about cancelling after that period) my fault.
Four months later@ 34.95 per month =$139.80 For 1 copy of a one page resume- I guess lesson learned - I was not offered a refund like other reviews. Customer service was pleasant enough and cancelled right away and said sorry to see you go - funny I didn't even know I was there. Screwed again by another website and their lure of free and trial and fine print NOT VERY HAPPY -

Writing and correcting a resume and cover letter on this site could not be easier - so long as you stick to receiving the documents as PDF Files.
I you want to use the. Rtf Format, and expect that the downloaded appearance will be the same as a PDF File, it will NOT be.
Customer Service's IT tried to fix the problem, and failed miserably.

In order to access the resume you build you will need a credit card and pay for it. This is NOT a free resume site. Disappointed to say the least.

Helps build a perfect resume. People are giving bad reviews for the "hiding fee" there are no hiding fees say clear as day whats gonna happen. I cancelled my account with no issues talked to Alex and no pressure to keep my account just general information will recommend this to anyone that needs a little help.

This website is totally set up to scam people. You must be careful if you decide to buy a one time use of their service. You automatically sign up for a subscription no matter what, and you have to call and cancel to not be billed monthly for $25 or more. I highly recommend not using this service. I am in talks with my lawyer about suing the business.

You may not be liable for unauthorized charges and services not rendered. Also report misleading and false promises such as them telling you the charges will stop. Answer: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I am a very organized person who worked for the state that I reside in as an investigator. I had an injury and had to make a change in my career. I am very careful about getting pulled into scams, however, I felt that this would be a good opportunity to build a resume and cover letter that was more updated than when my original resume that I wrote years ago. First of all, the templates are not free. After spending a long period of time writing the perfect resume, I only had the option of spending $2.99 to have access to the resume/cover letter. I felt that was a reasonable fee for the use of the template. As I stated, I am very organized and manage my finances very well. I made sure that I went into my account and cancelled by subscription after 5 days of use so that I would not be charged the $29.99 for the month. Today, I checked my checking account and sure enough the $29.99 had been deducted. I immediately called customer service and they stated that my cancellation had not gone through and they had no notification of my cancellation. They were willing to give me back only $14.00 of my $29.99 back and then went on trying to sell me more offers. I was extremely angry and then spoke with a supervisor. He also argued that I had not cancelled. I went through the same steps to cancel my account while the supervisor was on the phone with me. Low and behold the cancellation went through! Obviously, this company has set up the cancellation process to fail and you will be charged the $29.00 anyway. I definitely learned my lesson! I had to threaten to have my attorney to get involved due to this company stealing money from my account before they agreed to reimburse my full $29.00. They could not give me a refund confirmation number for the remaining reimbursement. I as a Social Worker who advocate for people could not conscientiously could not write a review to warn people of this scam.
